We interviewed 8 companies and chose All About Pools because of Jayson Furr the project manager. We met with him initially in his office in Tyler. He was sitting in his truck waiting on us when we arrived. I liked him immediately! He was in his work clothes and I could tell he was a hard worker. We had a meeting and we had a budget. Out of the eight companies, there were two bids lower than Jayson. One bid came in after we had already met with Jayson and we decided to stay with Jayson. We showed him the lower bid that we had from the other company and he worked with us and came down a little bit closer to that bid. We were very appreciative of that. He came out, looked at everything, flew his drone over. We came to an agreement over the money, signed the contract, the very next day early in the morning he was there with this crew working. They would work in the cold and the rain. Jayson answered the phone every single time we called if for some reason, he couldn't answer he would immediately call us back. No matter how simple the question was or how many times we called, he was always very polite very patient and very very customer friendly. We trusted him. We trusted him with our retirement monies that we had saved for this project. We always wanted a beautiful spa and pool. We also met the owner. The owner explained to us how important his customers were to him. He's been in the business over 40 years. The company is part of Better Business Bureau bonded and insured, and presented all of that evidence to us in the folder that was given to us. He had pages of references that we could check. Even though the owner had had some health issues, he came out to the job site to look at everything and talk to us and thanked us for picking his company. We should be done with the job tomorrow. They poured plaster today and will do the acid wash and we can start to fill tomorrow. The pool and the new spa has transformed our backyard. We are beyond thrilled. We are also beyond thrilled with the customer service and the quality of work that was provided to us. We have encountered nothing but professionalism from all of the workers that he contracts with. They are all hard-working and very polite. This is our first pool and spa. We moved from out of state less than a year ago so we had to start from scratch to find a pool company. We highly recommend All About Pools and Jayson Furr for any of your needs. They do a tremendous job and are very hard-working. Also, Jayson is there every day on the job overseeing and working beside the people that he has contracted with. The project was completed within time promised, despite weather issues. Jayson and his crew did a great job on our pool, he helped up design it and added upgrades that we didn't even think about at no cost. They helped remove trees and spread out landscaping dirt at no charge. Did I mention they did the entire pool in less than 2 weeks ? Great job! read more

***4.5 STARS*** I selected All About Pools (AAP) to do a new install (in-ground pool). I received a few estimates from other companies. AAP wasn't the cheapest, but Mr Boyce (the owner) won me over the way he handled business (old school face to face, honest, and full of ideas)! We put our heads together, came up with a plan, signed the contract, and they immediately started the build (NOV 2022) with a promise completion before Christmas. Jayson Furr and his crew were knowledgeable, hard-working, and attentive. They completed our installation in record time, and we were swimming for Christmas! They wired up my RV, sauna, hot tub, pergola, and firepit outlets! My only complaint was for the money charged and them being a "full service pool company". The sod replacement needed after install should have been included in the initial price quote. OUTSTANDING! I must say we were unsure at first that we wanted to build a pool based on the an experience by one of our neighbors using a different company. However after meeting Boyce and Steve, they seemed to be straight shooters in saying what they would do and doing what they say (which they did!) They worked with us to meet our budget and design a pool and pool area that we are now enjoying, all within budget and timeline. I wish I had called them first!!! I could not have better things to say about Jayson and his team. If you're having any issues with your pool they should be the first you call. Jayson was BY FAR the most knowledgable pool man I called in ETX. After a couple minutes of seeing him work I knew he was different than the other ETX "5 star" rated pool guys who previously came by. He was so thorough and I could tell he knew what he was doing. We struggled for months to get any pool companies in ETX to fix a leak in our pool. None of them wanted to put in the work or time because it required digging into concrete and a pressure test. Jayson was at our house quickly after I called and didn't waste time getting to work. He never let difficult obstacles get in his way and there were many! He was also trustworthy and kind throughout the whole process. His team was very hardworking and diligent. Every time another pool company came by they gave up after a couple minutes, but not these guys, they didn't stop until the job was done.
