As a potential client, this was a HUGE red flag right right away. When it comes to important tax matters, there's no way I'd cut a check to this office to prepare my taxes. As much as I trust that Henry is an expertise in his field, I would never consider hiring him to do my taxes because I know I'll have to consistently chase he and his lacking staff to get anything done. I hope when Henry reads this review, he will seriously consider making changes in how he operates his office. Especially pertaining to following up/following through with potential clients. After chasing them around for a couple months trying to get a follow up to my questions, phone calls and emails... I finally gave up. They lost me as a client which is unfortunate because I was looking forward to Henry helping me with my tax situation and even more so learning from him. It truly disheartens me to post this review but the truth is they need to take a closer look at how they're handling their potential clients. This month, January, wanted to stop by the office and it was no longer at the original location. I called they moved to a new location. But in the process, no notification to potential and former clients. When I called requested the template form to begin the task for filing this year. One week passed. I went to another CPA on Stockton Hill Road the other day they set me up for an appointment. Before leaving the office, they also gave me the template form to complete and return to meet with an advisor. It is a shame where you front line staff can be the downfall of a business.

I thought they might need to file an extension - but they were able to get the job done on time. Eric was less expensive than the other company and also worked all the possible deductions. Mr. Sherman met with me for 45 minutes or so and explained what needed to be accomplished and the best way to do it. The price he quoted me was 1/3rd of the amount quoted by a recognized accounting firm. Mr. Sherman's office completed my aunt's final tax return, calculated and mailed out all 24 1099 forms for the beneficiaries and provided copies of everything to me. He provided an audit representation guarantee that I did not need - but was good to have as an assurance. I do my own taxes using tax software, but will definitely go to Mr. Sherman when I no longer can figure it out myself - and I am reaching that point! He has competent associates in his employ and I have no complaints.
