Very poor customer service. I made a appointment for a oil change for my sons car which I then told the gentleman on the phone I had a coupon that I purchased that he would get his oil changed for five dollars he said ok great. I Then asked him if that coupon would work for full synthetic oil change he said yes there would just be a price difference due to the synthetic oil . I said ok that would be fine. I told him the make and model of my car , I then informed him that they would be no longer be changing the oil in a Chevy impala for my sons car iOPt would be a grand prix now he said ok great gave me the times for the oil changes. So my son went in on the day and time of his oil change gave one gentleman the coupon . When they were finished they charged him 52 dollars. He came home and told so I then called them and asked them why was it 52 dollars it should have been 5 dollars they transferred me the other man then said they put synthetic oil in his 2006 grand prix , I told him that it should have just been a regular oil change that my 2018 dodge durango was the one that needed the synthetic oil he said ok I'm sorry I can credit you the money back on your account for the dodge Durango that would be going in for a oil change later that day because they messed up on there end on the scheduling and in the computer I said ok that would fine .then called me back and said he could not credit me the money back because my son and his friend okayed the synthetic oil , I told him that my son may look like a grown man due to his beard but he is a young kid and does not even know what synthetic oil is my husband has to tell him what kind of oil to buy . The man then told me sorry that he could not honor the credit to my account because his customers dont have knowledge to what they are are agreeing to, I told him that that was very poor customer service and I felt like they hustled my son . He just kept telling me that it's not his fault my son doesn't know what he agreed to . I told him that it was there mistake in the computer system because . I cancelled my service there and I will never go back again or refer anyone . I just feel very disappointed in the service. Because at the end of the day the info was entered wrong on there end . Even when I received email confirming the oil changes they still had the car as a chevy impala which I clearly told him it would no longer be a impala it would be a grand prix . read more

These guys are the best, others might give you a lower estimate up front but then come the add ons 'We discovered this, that or the other thing' and the final bill ends up being much higher than the estimate. With All Around Auto you may start out with a higher estimate but these guys stick by their estimates and All Around won't give you the run around. They do charge a $68 diagnostic fee but its fair and worth it because when they give you the estimate there are no unexpected surprises and they stand by their estimates. read more

INCREDIBLE SERVICE! All around auto saved our van and band tour! Our van had a ignition switch break on us in Denver, and we had to be in Steamboat that night to play a show. We called everywhere to try and get service, but every place said that it would take too long to fix and they could not fit us in their schedule. At last we called All Around and talked to Jonathan. He understood our situation and said he would get us to steamboat or bust. The mechanics worked overtime to make it happen for us, and we are so thankful that those guys went the extra mile to help us out. Nicest customer service I have ever experienced of any business, and especially in a field where trust and a company's word is everything. I had been going here often and was typically satisfied. However today was shocked and frustrated when I was told it would cost about $600. To change the alternator in my 2006 Nissan Xterra. I called a mechanic that works at Lexus and he said no way. My mechanic friend said that the part is only $150 - $200 max. I recently moved into the neighborhood near this shop, and decided to try them based on the reviews I saw in Yelp. I have up until this point taken my car to Ed Bozarth's service department. My car is less than 3 years old and I've only needed oil changes and tire rotations. I made an appointment for an oil change. When I arrived I was asked by one of the attendants if I brought in coupons. I informed him I did not bring in coupons. At that time he busted out a page full of coupons and stated he was going to apply it to this date of service, and started ringing me up. I was surprised they wanted me to pay upfront for an oil change, but whatever. I paid for the oil change. During the course of time I was there, they informed me I needed to change my air filters and flush my brake fluid, because it looked dirty. I agreed to the extra services. When my car was finished I went to pay for the extra services and noticed the oil change was still on the invoice. When I asked about this I was informed that, what I paid for at the start of service was the coupons, not the oil change. What? When I complained about how confusing that was they said they could return my money, but I would still have to contact the coupon distributor to cancel the subscription. Again, what? At this point I realized it was going to be a ridiculous hassle to get my money back from the coupons, so I paid and left. I will not be returning. Sadly I'll have to eat the cost of the coupons, but I do not want to do business with dishonest people. If you do decide to go to this shop, beware of the "coupons". Which are not actually coupons, but are a loyalty reward program. Coupons are free, reward programs have fees. read more

I had to get my alternator replaced for my vehicle, and the service and quality at All Around Auto Care were excellent. Dale was courteous, his communication was prompt, and the options he provided were both transparent and reasonable. And now a testament to their character: I bought a deal through Yelp that provided a "too good to be true" type of discount. As I was the first customer to use the coupon, Daniel the service consultant was a bit perplexed at how to process the voucher, since he had not even heard of the promotion. He called his manager, who essentially told him that Yelp completely misconstrued the details of the coupon (the deal was supposed to be for preventative maintenance vouchers, not a flat discount off their service). Rather than argue about Yelp's error, Daniel told me that they'd interpret the voucher from a customer's perspective, because it was the right thing to do. In the end, All Around Auto Care honored the deal as written, gave me quality work on my car, and now has my business-- and full recommendation for auto repair in the Denver area-- for life. read more

My car has been serviced by this shop since 2012. We established a lifeplan for my car, they made me aware of problems that would come up and need repair eventually. When I've had doubts, they have invited me into the shop and directly shown me the issue with my '98 Accord. I have occasionally felt blind sided by a repair, by no fault of the mechanics, as my car was neglected by the previous owners. I have always been difficult with them and they have always respected my opinion or my decision to decline a service. They are always fair in giving me the full picture regarding the health of my car, what is in dire need of repair, and what can wait. They honored a quote for me that was technically expired by 2 years. When they messed up an oil change after replacing the pan, they paid to tow my car back to the shop, paid to uber me home some 25 miles (not cheap), and had my car ready for me the next day. When doing a major repair on the engine, they ran into a bolt that took an excessive amount of labor to remove, and didn't charge me for it because I was not at fault. It took them less than a week to replace my transmission. They installed a faulty alternator (wasn't making noise at the shop) and had it replaced the next day, standing by their warranty. I've worked directly with Jon on most repairs, and I feel that he has been honest and helpful. I don't believe I would get the same transparency from a chain or dealership shop. If you really care to preserve your car and learn some of the inner workings, they are the shop for you. read more

I've really come to respect and appreciate AAAC so much. I am rather skeptical of auto care places due to past experiences of shoddy work and being told I needed things I didn't need. So naturally, I was hesitant to trust AAAC. My fears have been put to rest. They do great work at reasonable prices and will gladly explain and/or show you everything they're doing. This is my third or fourth visit (previously an Acura TL, now a Chevy Volt), and it's been a great experience every time. Quality work, reasonable turnaround time, and they're always honest and candid. This time they couldn't identify a software/electrical problem, and so actually waived the diagnostic fee and recommended taking the car to a Chevy dealership. I had to take a couple hours to calm down and write a cohesive review for these guys. I came in today for my last oil change by these guys. I've recently held out from coming back because they either don't check your other fluids (brake fluids) or are terrible at it. My car was low on brake fluid back in spring, shortly after a 'Guest For Life' oil change. I filled it up myself and in August my brake line was leaking and my check engine light turned on. Took it to brakes plus, $198. If you're paying for someone to check and top off your fluids, they should be trustworthy. Now on the case of their customer service, or more so Daniel's customer service. I accidentally showed up thinking my appt was at 8:30 when it was 8. A lady at the front left desk was the only associate to greet me so I checked in with her. Gave her my name, car make and model everything was good, she found me. I asked if I could prepay because I KNOW this place will try to upsale you and I don't want to listen to their sales tactics. I guess the lady wasn't capable of answering and Daniel cuts her off with "Why?" Does it matter??? Do you want my money or not??? "We normally won't." Ok yeah I know gotta upsale everyone who walks in the door even on 1 month old wiper blades. Daniel asks if I'm leaving my car or staying, when do I need my car back...the reason he was asking was because I was 30 minuets late and he'll try to squeeze me in and have my car done by the end of the day. Funny because they took my car back and did my oil change like it was no big deal. They called told me a ton of stuff was wrong with my car. Lots of blah blah blah and talking over me. I made it very obvious I don't need to hear it all, I know he's going to print out a $1500 quote for me when I get there. Same thing as when I came in, Daniel and salesmen doing nothing, the lady said hi, I went to her, but not before Daniel has to talk over her and make me wait for my quote packet to print out. It's a 15 year old Explorer. The repair quote would cost more than fair value for a good one of those. Made me sign a safety hazard waiver for my bearing before I could drive my car, which is just a liability for them, I understand that. Good luck, can't wait to see these guys shut down. I took my car in to get the brakes changed because they had just started squealing. After about 2 1/2 hours waiting for an estimate I finally called them back and ask them what the issue was with my car. They told me that I needed to replace the brake pads and the rotors and that it would cost me $350!!! I thought that was absurd considering the brakes just barely started making noise three days prior. I said I can't believe the rotors are already damaged that you have to replace them. The mechanic I was talking to on the phone told me "oh yes it can take a single break to damage the rotors before you have to replace them, if it's metal to metal." I said "I don't think so I'm going to get a second opinion." My second opinion checked my brakes and my rotors and said that my brakes were worn out but my rotors were perfectly fine! I don't like being taken advantage of and I don't like when mechanics think that I don't know anything. This place clearly rips people off. read more

I have to say I don't believe the technicians complete everything they state in your evaluation. They said they checked my tires pressure but my tire check light remains on after they said they checked everything. Too, last time they checked my brakes, they did not put my wheel cover back on properly and it fell off later that day. They, the techs are careless and complacent in my opinion. The front office people do not communicate well, but are well intentioned. I believe their repairs are good but overall they suffer due to careless technicians. They usually will not call you when car is ready either I would definitely write down exactly what you wish them to do. Otherwise, they may repair items you do not wish to have done. read more

I am very happy with the service I have received. I own a 2000 Toyota Camry 2.2 4 cylinder with about 150,000 miles on it. I was referred by a friend to check them out. He had a Camry and had his car serviced there and had a good experience. So I gave them a shot. I have been here twice and I am a customer for life. First time I had my rear brakes done I was leaking brake fluid from the drivers side rear wheel cylinder. I have had no issues with my brakes since the service. The second time I had a very serious oil leak coming from the oil pump gasket so it had to be repaired. I came back to Import Auto Care because of the good experience with the brakes. I got an estimate for the work and I thought it was a little high so checked around with 5 other repair shops and they were right on with the quote they gave me. It has been about 3 months since the the last repair and I don't have any leaks from my car and I am a very happy customer. A little side note is that the main contact I had with was Chris and he kept in contact and answered all of my questions and was very upfront with me about everything. I have been looking for a nice shop to take my 4Runner to for oil changes and whatever else may come up. Typically the other shops I have been to are sure to inform me of "issues" with my truck that need to be addressed that they are more than willing to help me with. I know I keep my truck in good shape and it drives me crazy when they try to convince me of such issues. But unfortunately integrity does not seem to be a core value of auto repair shops. Not the case with Import Auto Care. I brought my truck in today for an oil change. There was no attempt to up sell me on maintenance packages or other "issues" that need to be addressed. They gave me an oil change! Just as I had requested! 2016 update: I've been using All Around for several years now. I've never left feeling that I've paid for something that I didn't need. When we walk in the front door we have always been greeted by name and have never had to wait to drop off or pick up out vehicles! Just had an oil change here, and got to deal with the owner, Jonathan Douglas. This was the most pleasant experience I've ever had as far as automotive maintenance is concerned. The shop is full-service and appears to be equipped to handle most anything you could encounter with your vehicle barring you are looking for those hubcaps for your 72' pinto hatchback. You can see that Jonathan is very passionate about building a lifetime relationship with the customer as opposed to other nefarious revolving door operations I've encountered over the years. I described that my car was running very strange (still is) and that I have some electrical issues (still do) they simply replaced my battery, and to top that off two blocks down the road my check engine light comes on so I have to bring it back. Gave this place several chances, don't go here! Brought my girlfriends car here with check engine light several times and they could not fix it. Brought in my car for a list of thing I knew was wrong walked out with repairs I didn't ask for and a bill over a grand and my wheel bearing were still wobbling and horribly squeaking. Had to take it somewhere else to fix it. Brought my car back because work was done wrong on radiator hoses, walked out with a bill over $400 for 2 hoses. Brought my mom's car in for oil change and estimate on some work, $1200 for shocks all around(looked up complete struts for this and parts are $265 shipped and I can install them in 2hr) plus $200+ for front sway bars and $900+ for timing belt and the guy TODD cocked an attitude when I said I couldn't afford the repairs right away, hung up on me even. Purchased the 'oil change' package this prior summer. Took son's car in for the first time this week for standard oil change, tire rotation, inspection, etc. Aaron was our service manager. Even with the 'oil change' package, the service still ended up costing me approximately 40 bucks because my son's car requires full synthetic oil. This additional fee is completely understandable and explained in the 'oil change' package documentation. Overall, the experience was fantastic! Aaron was great and service was timely. read more
