Trina was my instructor and hands down was the sole driver of my success. I have had lifelong anxiety about driving after being in several bad accidents growing up. But at 24, my personal life took a sudden turn, and I needed to learn fast. I had 1 week to get into high gear and go from never having driven before to a license. The first day, even going around in a neighborhood was terrifying. But with Trina's reassuring but firm guidance, I was out making U-turns, driving on interstates, and going in the rain after only 10 hours behind the wheel. 4 2.5 hour sessions were the perfect dosage of training for me, and I became confident and even a little excited to get behind the wheel. Different instructors give very different feedback, which is confusing. I had one instructor tell me I was going to ace the road test. Another refused to let me take it because I was apparently not ready and would have completely failed, and he couldn't risk the reputation of the school. WTF. Guess what? I passed the damn road test, no thanks to them. According to my road test proctor, several of the techniques All Around teaches are either out-of-date or completely wrong! PS. One of the instructors casually mentioned that he had Alzheimer's, but assured me that it "comes and it goes, and is very temporary." What. read more

So this place, at first, was a great school by charging reasonable rates for adult drivers. They were on time and provided good training. The second time was bad because we didn't get a chance to drive much with the instructor taking breaks and constantly was on their cell phone. The third time was great and the instructor was very attentive, correcting errors when necessary. They also used the entire 2.5 hours of training. The last instructor was the same person as the second and really wasted more time on getting gas, food and just wasn't helping to prepare for the road test. They recommended more lessons which was fair, but they need to spend the whole time teaching not on breaks! read more

My son did not get his permit until he was 18, and had no driving experience before that. I purchased 10 hours of lessons for him with this company, and Im really impressed with his driving skills after only 10 hours of practice and instruction. He got practice with country roads, urban areas, residential areas, and highways, as well as practicing the skills he needs to pass his road test. At my request, they also went over basic car maintenance. I highly recommend this school to everyone. read more

Our almost-15-year-old son just took All Around's Teen Driver school. It was fabulous. 30 hours of classroom learning made for a long week (9am-3pm M-F), with a mid-term test, a final exam, an Independent Project essay on Drunk Driving, and a Group Project presentation on Defensive Driving. I really appreciated that the teaching involved meaningful projects, rather than just an uninspiring teacher blah blah blah-ing to a classroom of bored teenagers. But perhaps the most valuable part of the course was the 6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving instruction. Miss Tasha was an absolute gem. She was kind and gentle and gave our son very detailed, thorough instruction. This woman deserves a medal of honor, taking a 14 year old onto the freeway for the first time! We really appreciate how much she stressed responsible driving, and defensive driving. Our son will remember her forever. We couldn't have asked for more. Great school. Money well spent. Very professional staff. My daughter had a wonderful experience. She passed her exam on the first try. What a wonderful boost of confidence for her. Going into it I was terrified of driving. Now after four lessons I actually feel confident.

I am originally from New York and had had many negative experiences with unprofessional driving schools who never showed up for lessons or were less than patient with a new, nervous driver. From the first email, All Around Driving's staff was incredibly kind and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The lessons are priced well, the instructors are professional and informative, and you get your time's worth of driving.
