PT and OT did a great job getting her up and walking with the help of a walker. It was the personal care. This is a for profit facility. They are understaffed and under paid. Nights and weekends the staff is almost non existent. My sister would spend hours in bed in soiled diapers. She developed a UTI which was diagnosed to late. I called an ambulance on May 17th 2025 because my sister was non responsive in bed. She was dehydrated, her kidneys were shutting down, her liver enzymes were elevated and she had fluid around her lungs. My sister passed on May 30th. Cause of death was pneumonia. She would have been on dialysis the rest of her life and attached to the trach again. She chose to die rather than go back to that facility. God I miss my sister.
