First, the entire store is a walk through chocolate history and creations, with a Chocolate Tree in the center. The shop was featured on Food Network! We ordered a chocolate martini, brownie and iced pistachio latte. The chocolate martini was amazing. The martini was rich and creamy. We shared the brownie and it was so rich, we could not finish it. ACK has been one of my favorite places to meet friends for chat & treats since I moved back from California in 2011 This time I tried Tea Time with my lovely best friend - we are High-Tea lovers, and I am a bit of a snob about it. It was a pleasurable experience, perfect on a rainy Saturday spring day. The service was fantastic!! Starting with reservations, which was a "comedy of errors" to the moment we left. Esther's friendliness and attention to our comfort and taste elevated our experience. We started with the light, flakier tasty warm classic scones. Then we moved to the delicious, satisfying, variety of finger sandwiches - the traditional cucumber was perfectly refreshing to clean the palate before the sweet phase of our meal. In the mix there was a spinach-cheese tart which it would have been tastier served warm. I selected a violet dark tea which was lighter than I expected, perhaps it would have been stronger if would have let if brew a little longer. The assortments of pastries/sweets were delectable and mouth-watering - macaron, sponge cake, coconut chocolate drizzled macaroons, custard, and a truffle. All inviting, succulent, and scrumptious. I'd mainly stick to their Gelato here, amazing flavor to sample, beautifully arranged & displayed. I tried the almond flour chocolate horseshoe and it was very hard to bite into, so I dipped the horseshoe into my gelato to soften up to make the dessert more enjoyable to eat. This place is so dirty! Everything is dusty, floors look like they have not been swept in years. The carpets are all stained and the furniture is falling apart. There is a handwritten sign on the bathroom door that says you have to use a code on your receipt to use the bathroom with the exact words "no receipt - no bathroom"! Then you get into the bathroom, and it is dirty and falling apart. It doesn't seem like very good business and came across very rude. With the way that the restaurant looks in the guest areas, I can only imagine what the prep and kitchen area looks like. We both had a pistachio latte and it was good, however, we will not be going back due to the uncleanliness. Probably just as much a museum of confectionary sculptures as it is a restaurant of delicious sweets, All Chocolate Kitchen is worth a visit to see Chef Roby's works of arts. These range from giant sculptures of things like dinosaurs, peacocks, and the moon. The most impressive item is probably the enchanted chocolate tree made of 1200 pounds of chocolate. The items they serve in store are also amazingly colorful and well decorated as well. You can find everything from macarons to truffles, cookies, croissants, brownies, dessert cups, and more! With an abundance of choice, there's always something new to try -- with an impressively large drink selection to go with this as well. Make sure to try their delicious grand cru hot chocolate which is intense without being overly sweet. This is heaven for chocolate lovers!!! My husband and I arrived early in Geneva to meet someone for dinner. We wanted to get a quick drink before dinner and didn't have very high expectations. I ordered the hot chocolate and my husband ordered a mocha coffee. The drinks were phenomenal. I was blown away. This was by far the best hot chocolate that I've ever had. It was rich and thicker than your typical hot chocolate. My husband's coffee was rich and had a bold coffee flavor. I can't wait to go back and try more chocolate creations. One note, although the drinks we had were fantastic, they were not cheap. Expect to pay premium prices for a premium experience. The interior of the All Chocolate Kitchen deserves it's own Yelp page. There were many huge chocolate statues, creations, and art pieces. Everywhere you look, your senses are engaged. You would probably have to spend several hours here to do justice to the decor. This is a feast for the eyes as much as for your stomach. The chef has been featured on the Food Network and holds several Guiness World Records. I have not tried much except the gelato which is a must every time I visit Geneva. The interior is a wonder of large chocolate sculptures. The store was very clean despite being busy. All Chocolate Kitchen ironically is more than only actually chocolate. It also has coffee and gelato. Sure there's lots of chocolate too. Basically desserts are what they're best known for and the main thing to get here. The drinks and food seem kind of upscale but these aren't extremely pricey. Coffee is really good here. I got some the last time to warm up and was pleased with it. They have a fairly small but large enough coffee menu. A few things are kind of expensive but not too bad. The best so far is the Menta Verde. It's $4.85 for a regular. This is made with Roman mint and choice of milk, of which the have non dairy choices too. Lots of potential gifts here. They have bags of chocolates and chocolate covered things. Almonds are about $6 a bag. There's some nice looking stuff to choose from. Gelato is another treat you can get and better when it's not as cold. It has a few dairy free sorbets as well so whichever your preference you can get. There's a few comfortable chairs and couches, allowing you to drink and eat inside. read more

I've had croissants, pastries, truffles, gelato, and espresso here over several years. All were good, but I won't return due to the 3% credit card surcharge. I've seen this in a lot of restaurants - but not other merchants - in the last few years, and I find it to be greedy - like asking for tips for counter service workers. Credit cards bring in many more customers, so there's an economy of scale, and there's also no risk; wanting all of that for nothing is not right. Without credit cards, most restaurants would not exist since many of their customers would not be able to afford their prices if the customers had to pay at the time of sale. read more

The interior is pretty fun here. They have gelato, brownies, pies, cookies, hot cocoa bombs, and of course chocolates. They also have a variety of coffee drinks. Service was friendly. We ordered a chocolate gelato, a banana cream pie, a pistachio latte, and a cappuccino. Pricing was on the higher end for the gelato (about $5 for a small scoop) and pie (almost $10). The gelato was pretty good, as was the cream pie. You could tell they used fresh ingredients, so it didn't feel overly processed like a grocery store cream pie. My wife didn't like the amaretto in the pistachio latte. The cappuccino was decent, but the milk foam wasn't as dense as I like it. 3.5 stars overall. read more

The All Chocolate Kitchen is a dessert shop borne from the mind of Alain Roby, a celebrity chef who was featured on the Food Network. I found this to be a novel and fun experience. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Geneva from out of town. The store itself is straight from a child's imagination. Everywhere you turn, there are massive whimsical chocolate and candy sculptures, brightly colored peacocks, splattered with sparkle, in dynamic and dramatic poses. Think of Chihuly let loose in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Or Planet Hollywood. It's a bit gaudy, but hey, you just walked into a store for a three course meal consisting mainly of chocolate, so maybe it's time to look inward. I had the gelato croissant sandwich, and oh man, was it good. A fresh, warm croissant with two large scoops of gelato, finished with an alpine halo of powdered sugar. They also have more complex desserts (something avant-garde involving a melting chocolate ball) as well as coffee drinks and other beverages. Service was excellent. I felt like I was given enough assistance, especially with the menu, which is extensive to say the least. There's a large dining space with many tables. When I went in the afternoon on a weekday, there was plenty of space. Parking is available on the street. All in all, the dessert was great. It's almost a theme park-esque experience. I ordered an hot apple cider and was looking at the pastries. They had so many different delicious looking items, I decided to get one. I bought the pumpkin strudel to take home. Later that evening, I decided to indulge myself in my new dessert. After I was beyond ecstatic to dig into my pumpkin strudel. The cream was so light and fluffy and the dough held quite well. Based on the gluten free, vegan gelato I had. Wow! I tried the chocolate and the raspberry. Both were really good and I opted for the chocolate. We used to love their almond croissant filling with was full with almond paste in the past, but now it's full with cheese they changed the recipe of it and they don't serve you coffee to your table anymore too you need to listen to them call your order not name over a crowd. Terrible experience. I am not one to typically review but I feel I have to here. The food and coffee were fine. The fact that you have to use a code on your receipt to use their dirty bathroom is mind blowing. Even after you pay almost $70 in food and drinks and you go to use the bathroom, if you get the code wrong when entering it, they might ask you to leave. They won't use their own "special code" to open it for you unless you ask for it "politely". It's a bathroom. You paid for food, you should have access to the bathroom. They still won't offer to open it for you. It's Geneva for goodness sake. This place is weird and not clean. The couch covers were dirty and stained. Go at your own risk and remember use a bathroom somewhere else before you go. Everyone was rude there. From the young workers to the old owner- with the exception of an older woman (being trained I think). Yikes for her! So disappointing. read more

I love this place. It's bursting with artistic decorative work. The place is awesome! Everything here looks pretty and delicious. That's because most of it is edible. Most of the sculptures, some of the paintings, and the HUMONGOUS tree in the middle is either made of chocolate or sugar or both. The shift manager, Norma, is particularly enthusiastic. They have Gelato (with unique flavors), to chocolates, to pastry, to chocolate covered bacon etc. On Sunday they also have crepes and I gave in to indulgence and got the sugar crepe. OH MY GOD!! It was emotional. I almost felt like crying. The home made whip cream was amazing!!! It comes with a strong custard influence. It's decadent but just stops short before being too rich.
