I met with the owner, Cheryl, and felt right at ease with her. She told me that she could send over two people for a couple of hours per month and that would help out my parents greatly. Thinking it would only be short-term, we've used Cheryl and the team for over two years now. My parents just love their service! That, and they appreciate seeing some other faces than family over. I had to tell Dad I'm paying them to clean, not to chat. He can chat at church or when he goes to Costco or Sam's Club. The Personal Touch Maid Service is bonded and fully insured, and they've been in business for over 30 years. So yes, I trust them. Going with Cheryl and her team was one of the best gifts I've ever given my parents. Too bad they don't have a location out here in MN, or I'd use them for my condo!

The two women who showed up to clean were efficient and got right to work. They listened while I explained what we needed and they seemed to complete everything we asked for. I have never used a cleaning service before, so I don't have much to go on, but it seems like the things they did a really good job on were baseboards, windowsills, and kitchen (stovetop, refrigerator, and sink). Their website talked a lot about dusting and patio door cleaning, but I found those two particular areas to be a little bit lacking (dusting incomplete and lots of streaks on doors). While I felt they did a good job with the surface cleaning, the deep cleaning and polishing were not quite what I expected. I will say this, our linoleum floors were very dirty from movers and the moving process. They likely had to spend a lot of time on the floors and this may have compromised their ability to "polish" as they normally would. I do have to go back over some things before we move out, but all-in-all I felt it was worth the money. If you're looking for a really deep clean, I would probably make sure you book them for sufficient time and make sure they bring products that can accomplish more than just a quick cleaning. I would probably use them again in the future and probably will contact them for ongoing work at our new home.

When I contacted management, the owner refused to resolve the issue, claiming I underreported the condition of the appliances, both of which had nothing more than average soiling, and in fact we had washed the refrigerator shelves the day before. The company did not notify me of any issues or extra fees during the service. Very disappointed in the lack of accountability and incomplete work for such a high price. The baseboards in the kitchen were not cleaned and the window sills were not cleaned. We have used professional cleaners for all of our move out cleanings over the years and have never had a problem with things just being left not done before.
