The doctors give 0 fucks. Technicians are fine, but the doctors, 0 fucks given. This place is so busy, how can they. My pet had an UNTIMELY DEATH due to negligent guidance and unnecessary procedures. I should have had the choice for my pet to die of natural causes, not inflicted cruelty by incompetent, disingenuous doctors. Dr. Kidwell ordered an FNA (Fine Needle Procedure) for my 8 yr old dog. He did not want to deal with her on Christmas week so he sent her to Fetch in Brandon. I rushed her there. Had he been a decent veterinarian, he would've known that procedure could possibly kill a pet with the symptoms mine had. This I later found out. She did not survive. Stay with wisdom. Young vets are just guessing. All Creatures on Pipkin Rd in Lakeland took away precious moments I had left with my best friend. Additionally, Images below show terrible stitch work for an unnecessary procedure. She was still bleeding when she came out. They said they had over six surgeries that day performed by one doctor. Rushed, ya think? When I came for removal, they left stitches in her that I actually had to pull out. 0 Transparency. Horrific outcome. I may never trust a vet again. read more

In between my second and third year of college, I got a cat. Well, a kitten. Which means I needed to take her to the vet for alll the beginning shots and appointments. So when I came back to Lakeland for school I was nervous about finding a good vet. I wanted to find a place that was slightly more affordable and who actually cares about the animals they treat. All Creatures has been just that and more. I took my kitty to get two rounds of shots, and front declaw and spay and they took wonderful care of her. Getting a pet spayed/ neutered is a big deal, but they did great with my sweet furball. The technicians are super kind and you can tell they just have a special love for animals. My kitty has healed up just nicely from her surgery, when I picked her up afterwards they gave me everything I needed to make sure she feels okay and heals right. They really took wonderful care of her. There's been an instance where I needed to get my cat seen by a practitioner asap to see what was wrong and they got me in as soon as possible and made sure I got what I needed to help my cat. I've been so impressed with them because they do their best not to charge you more than they should. They've been super honest at several of my appointments about options and what I need to do versus what was my choice, and also about price differences. How can you get better than that?? All Creatures has an animal daycare as well. I dropped my kitty off there for a week over Christmas and was again skeptical/ anxious leaving her with basically strangers. But again, they really went above and beyond and when I went to pick Helen up they had even had a photoshoot with her and gave me a framed picture of while she was in daycare. It was amazing and made me feel so much better. I also think they have adjusted to the challenges of covid well. You park and call to check in for appointments. A lot of times you get put on hold right away because they are almost always busy, but I've never had to wait more than a few minutes so it doesn't mess up your schedule or anything like that. When we first moved here and I was looking for a veterinarian for my Georgia Lee, this was one of two places in the entire county that were overwhelmingly recommended. I'm so glad I chose this one. It's bright and clean inside. When you walk in, the check in counter is in front, then dogs to the left and cats to the right (by the reptile tank!). Everyone who works here are professional and polite. The prices are reasonable. The veterinarians and techs are personable and obvious animal lovers. Super gentle and know how to handle a critter without scaring them. I watched them give my pup shots without her blinking an eye - Expertly! They are all service here, including boarding. We boarded Georgia Lee here for our vacation, the first time she's ever been away from us (without being with a family member). Of course, I was worried, but I shouldn't have been - when they brought her out to us when we picked her up, she trotted out like she owned the place. (Definitely not the body language of a traumatized dog.) She acted like she had a great time and was just on a sleep over with friends. We were so happy and now know we have a safe, reliable place for her to go if we want to vacation again. And sadly, when my mother's dog, Norma Jean, reached the end time of life, she brought her here. They were so wonderful with both of them, gentle, caring and handled the situation with grace. I do appreciate that immensely. They have stayed open for emergencies during the Covid-19 quarantine and handled the animals via curbside service (i.e., picked up the animal from your car and treated inside). I was able to pick up my dog's monthly medication by calling ahead and picking up curbside as well. They have an active social media presence on Facebook, keeping us updated on quarantine issues including updated medical facts regarding the media reports of possible pets contracting Covid-19 and then fun things like staff birthdays and which tech has been accepted into veterinarian school, etc. All Creatures Animal Clinic is definitely one of the best animal veterinary services around and I highly recommend. read more

All Creatures took her within minutes, treated her like royalty, sat down on the floor with her and I left her with them. 3 hours later, she had been anaesthetized and her wound repaired and I went to pick her up. We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our 16 old Yorkie-Poo and are devastated. We knew the day would come, but you're never prepared. Our girl was old, little hard of hearing and couldn't see as well as old times, but she was still happy, played and dug around and loved to eat. She was in good health for her age. But this past Friday night we came home and she was lethargic and unable to stand. She hadn't eaten that morning either. By the next morning, she was worse and started having seizures, it was absolutely horrible and just out of the blue, which turns out to be a blessing, as she did not have to suffer. I made a call to the clinic (Saturday) and they told me to bring her in as soon as I could get there and they rushed her back. To make a long story short, it was just her time. I could not hold my emotions and my husband held us together and the staff were very kind and understanding. I just wanted to say thank you to All Creatures, the Doctor and Assistant. Their compassion at such a difficult time was so needed and they made our Little Girl's goodbye soft and so peaceful. They sympathized with our anguish and pain and we are so grateful we had them in such of time of need. Thank you for helping us get through such a devastating moment in our lives. We found a dedicated, thoroughly professional team of caregivers that went beyond normal service. Toby lasted 3.5 years before cancer took him from us. We feel that All Creatures provided the top notch care that gave him those extra years. We now have a 2 month old Golden Doodle who has become a regular patient. I've been taking my dogs here for years and honestly considered leaving due to a bad experience with a technician who disregarded me when I explained my dog was nervous at the vet and cornered him when she attempted to cut his nails. However, I'm really glad I gave them another chance because a) I never saw that tech again and b) the techs noted my dog's anxiety, took the time to earn his trust with treats and patience, determined he did not need a muzzle to be given his shot, took my lead when I sat on the floor, and took my suggestion of putting some cheese on the syringe so my dog would allow the shot to be given orally. The service at this facility has changed for the worse.. I took my healthy female Cane Corso in to be spayed, and she died a few hours later. As per conversation with the vet it took them 3 rounds of anesthesia to get her to go down before the surgery. They also did not perform any post surgery checks on her due to fear of the animal. They also had been treating my Male Cane Corso for bumps on his face for Months without any success. Numerous rounds of antibiotics, allergy shots, skin scraping. Twice they prescribed the wrong dosage of medication. The first mistaken dosage was caught by me, which they admitted to. The second time was by another vet that I took him to for a second opinion. I've been going to All Creatures for almost 20 years and have never experienced this type of "health care" for my fur babies. my little girl had a soft spongy lump at the base of her tail and for the last two or three years they always said it was a fatty growth or a fluid filled pocket. Well I was having her tested for an oral surgery teeth cleaning when I decided to have them go ahead and test the lump. Dr. Chenault acted like it was a waste of time and I had to insist. long story short, it's a Mast Cell Tumor. I will NEVER use these people again. you have been warned. One of our greyhounds was having some issues with pain being newer to the area I looked on some of the greyhound groups and found this vet. We had an appointment on Tuesday to see Dr. Kidwell so we could find our what was going on. Once we arrived the front desk staff was friendly and efficient got us checked in and back rather fast being this was our first visit. Once to the back the Vet Tech came in and gathered information on what was wrong with Ralph, I explained to her everything going on. Soon after the Dr came in and was in the room a whole two minutes if that his exam was a joke. He felt down Ralph's spine and when Ralph cried out he stated yep thats the problem we will give him some pain meds and prednisone and send him home. Nothing else never checked him any where else once he yelped he was done. Ralph continued to have problems into Wednesday so I decided to call a vet that was recommended. I called in advised the receptionist what was going on with him. She made an appointment for Sat to bring him in, which I thought maybe by then the meds will help and he will not have to come in. Later that afternoon I received a call from the Vet herself and advised she wanted to see Ralph Friday as she wanted to do Xray's. We took Ralph in this morning and dropped him off and he was with her all day. After numerous X-rays, exams and such he was diagnosed with Lymphoma. It was very clear to see the cancer in his stomach via the Xray. If Dr Kidwell had taken the time to do a through exam this might have been caught on Tuesday, I am thankful we did not wait to take him to another vet. read more

We've been taking our dogs to All Creatures for nearly 20 years. The entire staff has been courteous and helpful to us and welcoming to our dogs. We especially appreciate Dr. Kimble and her staff who took care of our Boston terrier during her last visits. Our baby was fiercely independent, but she warmed up to the doctor and her staff. Well it looks like I will have to find another vet. All creatures WAS a good clinic, but like so many other businesses, has gone south. I took my 11 year old Schnauzer in for some dental work, cleaning and POSSIBLY some extractions. Without informing me that they found more issues than anticipated, and then letting me make a decision, they went ahead and pulled SIX TEETH. I would have opted for multiple visits, so as not to traumatize the animal as greatly (she appeared in shock when I picked her up) On that subject, I realize that during the current Covid pandemic, businesses have to make arrangements to operate safely, but this place is ridiculous. I had to pick Gracie up in the parking lot in a rainstorm. A girl walks her out hands me a bag with pills and other things and tells me what was done and that was that. You would think I was picking up a pizza, instead of a beloved pet. Do yourself and others a favor, find another vet, this place has really gone to hell. read more

Brought my Dog there in January with what i thought was blood in her stool. The doctor gave a very quick assessment and said she was stressed. I brought her back again a couple of months later because she was peeing in the house which was not like her. They gave her antibiotics. I brought her in again about a month after that because she is now straining to pee. They did an ultrasound and urine culture and found nothing. I called again and said she is still staining to pee the said to give the antibiotic some time to work. She then presented with what we thought was blood in her stool but also saw blood on her vulva. I asked for an emergency visit was told it was not serious and set an apt for at the end of the week. My dog began actively bleeding from her urinary tract. I called and again was told i could not get an emergency vist that day or the next.. I took her to the after hour emergency vet they did another ultrasound and clearly saw a mass in her bladder and saw clusters of cells in the culture. that had somehow been missed when this vet did the same test three weeks earlier. We lost all that time since January when i first brought her and was fluffed of..., many visits, money and time wasted when she could have been getting treatment to help prolong her life read more

This is our favorite doggie clinic. We have been with them many years and this is our 3rd dog we have been taking there. We now know how good they are after taking our dog to the emergency vet this past weekend. It was an awful experience for my husband and I and our dog. After nearly 10 years of being my Vet of choice I ended up with Dr. Daniels, Dr. Kidwell and Dr. Richter -all of which misdiagnose my dog not twice but three times, costing me over $4500. Susan the office manager suggested I find another Vet due to being so upset with the service I received - best advice I could have gotten. All Creatures isn't what it use to be with Dr. Latter and Dr. Lockhart. BEWARE if you go with anything other than needing heart guard or a routine physical for your pet. read more
