I wasn't sure to expect since the reviews were mixed but it's been on my list to try. It's definitely a thumbs up. We were in a group of 8 and were seated in a private room. The cool thing about this restaurant is that even though it's all you can eat it's made to order and sharing is encouraged. Normally a robot brings your food but since we're were in the back room it was delivered by a live person. The food is good. They have lots of vegetarian, seafood, and meat options. The menu is vast- Chinese, hibachi, sushi, ramen, yakisoba, even some American items like mozzarella sticks and French fries and more. You order via tablet. To prevent food waste if you order too much food don't eat it and try to take it to go you are charged a fee. Tea, coke products, boba tea and alcoholic beverages are available. I got so carried area sampling everything I forgot to take pictures. The spicy edamame, mango salad, rock shrimp, tempura shrimp maki roll were all delicious. I will definitely be back. Brought my sister here for her birthday and I'd say it was a good experience! The inside is very nice, it gives modern day dining with warm vibes. You can either dress up or dress down and you'll still fit in here. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly. The place looked very clean and Bella the robot was doing her thing! The food here is good, they have a nice range and variety for the different cravings you may come in with. My favorites were the fried buns and crab rangoons. The buns were so warm, soft, crispy and went great with the sugary side it comes with and the crab rangoon are on my top lists of best crab rangoons. I wasn't a big fan of the fried green tea ice cream. I couldn't get past the taste of the green tea ice cream. It was honestly not worth the extra charge. The spread was massive and everything we tried was surprisingly fresh and flavorful -- sushi was solid, apps were plentiful, and the desserts didn't feel like an afterthought. Staff kept everything stocked without hovering. Great value for the price, we'll definitely be back. Went to Aioe with my husband on a Tuesday over lunch. Overall the experience wasn't bad, but didn't really live up to the hype. First off, we were seated immediately and given a very brief rundown of the menu. We came during lunch hours, but had the option of purchasing a dinner meal (everyone at the table has to purchase the same type of meal - lunch or dinner) or if we purchased lunch, we could add-on individual items from the dinner menu at an extra $1-$3/item. To us, it felt like there were plenty of lunch items so we stuck with the lunch menu. You could also purchase fruit teas for $5 each. I had read online that it took awhile to receive your items after ordering and they would come to your table in waves, so you should order a lot at the onset. We did this and absolutely regretted it. It all came to our table practically at once and we had food sitting on the table getting cold. Not to mention it was a bit overwhelming looking at all that food! We also never received a robot delivery to our table, but we saw the robots "working". My theory is that because we were on an edge table, we had food delivered by humans. All the middle tables were receiving both human and robot deliveries. Sad! Out of all the dishes we ordered, the sushi was the best by far. The queen roll (made with mango strips) was absolutely delicious. However, all of the fried food came out lukewarm and tasting like old oil - like they hadn't changed out their fryer oil in some time. The restaurant policy "you may be charged for excess food ordered and not eaten" Made us feel like we had to eat everything - even if we didn't like it. However, towards the end of the meal, our server started clearing our plates with some leftovers on them and we weren't charged. I'm guessing this policy mostly to avoid customers going absolutely wild on amount ordered and plates of untouched food being left on tables. We tried All in One Eatery for one of my kiddos birthdays and we were excited about the whole concept. We loved the amount of options, easiness of ordering, and the kids got a kick out of the robot that delivered it. We visited a second time as well and my kids enjoyed the variety of food and deciding what to eat next. The only setbacks for me were no one both times explained how it works with ordering/the device on the table, pricing is a little high for what you receive, and customer service is almost unheard of. They truly rely on the robots for getting you what you need, but are quick to ask for a nice tip. Nothing stands out for me to say this is a must to go have this dish, but again there is such a variety that others may find exactly what they are looking for. Very cool concept! The robot was such a unique addition. The service was great, the restaurant was clean, so that's also a major plus. The food was good, as appetizers were ordered: miso soup, spring rolls, soft shell crab, wings & beef short rib. The wings could've been crispier & the beef was a bit tough, but both were flavorful & worth trying! We also ordered yellowtail sashimi which was great! The 4 sushi rolls we ordered were also great, but did not come with all the ingredients listed on the menu, and since they were all plated together it was hard to determine who ordered what. I absolutely Love this all-you-can-eat concept here without the buffet and ordering from the IPad on the table as much as you want when you want is extremely time-saving and convenient for the staff and customers. The food is sooo fresh and oh so delish! I've had a variety of appetizers (sushi is unbelievably good) and every entree is pleasing to my palate. They have a unique menu that is FULL of choices although the lunch menu isn't as extensive (which is typical), it still offers a wide variety of options even for the pickiest eaters. The service is great with me getting the same sweet server on more than one occasion. He is super attentive, kind and makes me feel like I'm right at home and I look forward to the next visit. What an incredible feeling. Great hospitality is NOT Dead!!! The restaurant is clean, nicely dressed staff and the out-of-kitchen meal prep area is organized and clean as well. My wife wanted to check out AIOE but I afraid of going upon reading some negative yelp reviews. We actually had the opposite experience of these negative reviews. It was quite positive, as we were seated right away, ordered right away, and drinks delivered to our tables soon after. What I was disappointed in was the customers! They must've not had an Asian dad teach them proper buffet etiquette: no carbs (fillers) and no water. Saw a bunch of order of crab Rangoon and dumplings. Not against those items, but always remember to order the premium items first. Then if your belly has room for rice, noodles or carbs, then order at the end. Overall, it's worth going once for the experience but Sushi Mido is better overall if you want AYCE sushi even though sashimi and nigiri is included in the AYCE deal unlike at Sushi Mido. We sat at the bar so we're able to be seated immediately. My assumptions were proven wrong when our first dishes arrived just a few minutes after we ordered. We sat at the sushi bar, so we're able to watch the chefs create every dish. They were efficient and diligent, and everything was delicious. We loved the wide variety of options from appetizers, to sushi, to Chinese and other Asian dishes. The menu was very robust and varied! Even the pickiest of eaters could find something to enjoy. However I will explain each dish and rating #1 miso soup gets a 0 we actually spit it back in bowl enough said #2 steamed shrimp dumplings get a 3 hot seemingly fresh just not great. #3 vegetable tempura a solid 5 actually the only thing I can highly recommend. #4 seaweed salad was bright fluorescent green so a little artificial looking I'd give a 3.5 #5 squid salad was tasty but only two pieces of actual squid so we ordered the dish again and same id give 4 on taste alone.#6 we ordered tuna roll and yellow tail roll id give 4 rice one point off,quantity and quality of the fish was actually pretty good. Last but not least beef udon noodles there appearance was pretty off-putting and they were pretty bland but once we ask for chili oil we weren't mad at them so maybe a 3.5 Would I go again NO was it awful NO. We waited about 20 minutes for a table. The hostess and waiter explained how to order the food on the table top kiosk. Each course of food we ordered arrived promptly. They had robots that deliver some of the food, when we were there they were very busy and so staff was also bending food to the tables. The portions are sized so that you can sample many things. The food, for the most part, was pretty good. We tried many appetizers, a few noodle based dishes, fried rice, sushi, sashimi, and a couple salads. I appreciate that they had an indicator for which items contained raw fish as that is something we stay away from. Service, felt rushed. They had the Bella server and many people moving between tables which caused bottlenecks and issues when they tried getting dishes out. I will say, they combine like items in a way that both does and does not work. When I ordered a helping of red snapper sushi and sashimi, it came on the same plate, which was great. When we had a helping of sesame chicken and general tso chicken ordered, it was mixed into the same plate and had all the flavor combined - obviously this did not work well. I would greatly caution from ordering the pad Thai. My wife and I really enjoy going to Thai House for their pad Thai, but here, avoiding it is our advice. It does not taste great or even close to how it should taste. My wife described it as tasting like ketchup and that was entirely accurate. That was one dish we did not enjoy or even finish. My biggest gripe with this restaurant was that we went when it should have been lunch time, but we were charged their dinner price. I'd seen that lunch is $21 per person while dinner is $36 per person. For getting there and finishing eating all before 3pm, I was not happy being forced to pay for their dinner price. None of this was mentioned and I felt like I was forced to pay extra. My receipt time even shows 1:59 PM. Now, I really doubt that is dinner time. I likely would not go back until another few months or so when they get a better groove going. I really wish Yelp allowed half stars because I would gladly give 3.5 but can't hit 4 yet. Food was average. Not a huge fan of the automated process it seems to be worse and less efficient than just humans talking. I'm not trying to yell at the kids on my lawn here.... Some food went to another table by robot then from that table by human to kitchen then back to our table from kitchen.... LOL like I couldn't see what was happening?!?!? Then we sat waiting and waiting finally someone asked if we needed help with check out. "No we need our 3 other dishes we ordered." He went back through the kiosk and said "oh yeah; uh I'll be back." 5 mins later the hotter than hot dishes showed up. So it is freshish. I guess since it was all you can eat made up for it. $21 is probably OK for lunch prices but from what I could see not much changed for dinner menu. To have to pay $36 for this I'd be more upset. The sushi was OK was not great. The hibachi was flavorful but limited quantity on each item. If I go back might just order 2 of that each time? Pot stickers were the best item for me. Suggestions to the owners is to create some sort of meal selections that preps an app, main, side, and dessert. I like the wide variety on the menu I can just see it be over whelming to some. What an amazing find for the Northland! We never get great places like this up here. We had five sushi rolls, three crab salads, an avocado salad, chicken skewers, honey chicken, sesame chicken, potstickers, crab Rangoon, miso soup, shrimp tempura, and tempura cheesecake! 3 ppl $63. That's unreal! We ate wayyyyy too much. The service was incredible. I know they have the robot, but they actually had a real server as well and he was very friendly and amazing. this is from about a month ago, but AIOE replied to our google review saying we were reviewing the wrong restaurant... we were not, this was the honest service we received at this location. We (party of 3) enter the restaurant and they seat us pretty quickly but our tablet is dead and they leave with out checking or waiting on us Eventually a waiter shows up and we inform him of the tablet and he unplugs and replugs it, saying it's fixed, we order a round of food and it dies right after we sent the order Over the course of like 40 minutes the waiter periodically looks at us but never approaches We still haven't gotten any food He eventually asks and we put the order in again through his tablet and he takes ours Another 15-20 minutes go by and we get our first round of food and a new tablet but a new issue starts Our new tablet is synced to a different table and we keep getting sent food that we never asked for We try to explain this to our waiter multiple times, and he fails to understand Food and drinks we do order never arrives Eventually our waiter understands and comps the food waste fee for the sushi we never requested During the entire time other servers are practically ignoring us In the end of the over 2 hours we were there we, barely got to eat any of the food we did want, never received most of which we requested and still had to pay $120 What we did get was tasty and the restaurant was pretty Had my hopes up but we were thoroughly neglected by the staff read more

Aioe is a great restaurant to experience at least once. I went with one other person, but believe that this would be best experienced in larger groups. The self service menu tablet is broken down into sections (appetizers, sushi rolls, etc.). You can only order from each section once every 15 minutes to prevent over ordering. As a result, you might get pretty full before you can take advantage of ordering from that section again. Because we were a smaller party, we only ordered a couple of items at once. I would've enjoyed this more if we had a larger party and more sharing. Because of the price, I don't feel like a 2-person party is really getting their money's worth. The food was good, but not anything beyond a typical sushi restaurant. One thing of note is that the floors in the dining area were covered in a thick layer of grease which was visibly noticeable and slippery when walking. The restrooms appeared clean. i was so excited to try this place since it's opened and my sister and i finally made it out and was really disappointed. we were welcomed immediately and sat which was shocking for a sunday but i do not think it was overly busy but a nice steady flow. our server did not come to greet us for about 10 minutes. the first round of food we ordered came out before they came and as someone who has worked in the service industry i tried to give it multiple chances before voting it a negative experience. food was okay, the baked mussels my sister ordered were super cold and the cheesecake was frozen solid in the middle (not thawed out all the way) so we couldn't enjoy those. i will say the crab rangoon and the spicy garlic edamame were great but everything else was subpar at best. my sister didn't have a single refill of water (her only drink) but my beverages were paid attention to so that felt weird. the server also holds the toast payment machine when you pay which feels like a tactic to make you tip under pressure so watch out for that. i believe they charge for however much you dont eat/waste. over the bill was almost 100 for two adults and do i think the food and experience as a whole was worth that? no and would i recommend people to go here? no read more

2 starts ONLY because the food we did get, tasted good. We drove 40 minutes to get here and it was a complete disappointment. Arrived at 3:45 pm and waited another 40ish minutes to be seated. Once seated, we ordered right away. After three rounds of orders, we only received about 50% of what we asked for. We spoke to THREE different servers about our missing items, nothing ever came except a dish of fried Oreos. One of the missing dishes was the jalapeño yellowtail tuna sashimi. A server told us they were sold out, yet a table seated an hour after us ordered the exact same dish and got it without an issue. When we finally asked for the bill and expressed our frustration, the response was just "oh, I'm sorry." No effort to figure out what went wrong, no attempt to fix it, and not even the offer of a discount, even though we paid **$35 per adult** for a meal where we received barely half of what we ordered. We left at 6:15 pm after an exhausting and disappointing experience. On top of that, the bathrooms had no toilet paper, and the floors throughout the restaurant were dangerously greasy and slippery. In three hours we had food for maybe 15 minutes. Orders were skipped and, after reordering like the server told us to, we got SLAMMED with multiple servings of the same order! What's worse is the place charges you for food left on the table. I agree, this cuts food waste and is a good policy, but only if food is moved out at a regular pace. The table next to us had no problem getting their orders but we were left waiting. Food overall is anywhere from good to ugh. First off, the sushi rice has zero vinegar or sugar. Simply put, it ain't sushi. That said many of the other things were fine like the hibachi KC strip, salmon sashimi, and xiao long bao. My problem was how many things got to our table cold. My chicken fried rice had clearly been sitting out for a bit before getting served. Frankly, were it not for the steam baskets, the dim sum probably would've been cold, too. It also seemed our server was avoiding us. Both times we needed refills the GM had to do it. We went a week after the place opened. It was a nearly full house so take these comments as you will. Maybe they're still working out some kinks. Unfortunately I don't want to wait 30mins in between plates to see if I wasted my time and money or not. Checked in with the clerk who immediately removed us from the waiting list before even getting ready to take us to the table as she was actually having a conversation with the other clerk. A third clerk approached the counter and the first thing she said was that there was a 15 mins wait... I had to explain I had already waited and received my text to come back. Only at this time the first clerk intervened and said she would take us to our table. We got sat in a small area that looks like a room at the back by the bathrooms that has two tables in that part... apparently table P1 and ours F1... 1.- the server didn't even ask us if we had been there before (which we hadn't by the way)... we ended up figuring out online how to order and how things were supposed to go... 2.- several of the plates we ordered were taken to the other table next to us... several times I heard the party indicate when receiving our food "well I guess we will try it" and the waiter not caring at all to even ask if it was being delivered at the right table. We had to ask for our food as some of it ordered later was finally arriving at our table. We waited over an hour between the first time we ordered and actually getting the food we ordered first. We tried to order more and again found that our ice cream and additional food was delivered to the table next to us and again hearing them mention they didn't order it while the waiter was right there and looking at the waiter completely ignoring the comments. One would think that since there is a warning about extra charge for uneaten food, that the waiters would at least make sure the right food goes to the right table but I guess I'm wrong. We also ordered a plate of fried rice that was delivered by one of the robots but the screen indicated again it was to the table next to us... this was the only time the other table spoke to us to let us know that was not theirs even though the screen indicated as such, so we took our food from that robot. Overall, I think the service could've been better so I personally don't think I would be coming back except for any pick up orders as the food is indeed very tasty. read more

Tried the new sushi restaurant in the Northland and I loved it! The decor is super stylish and makes the place feel really welcoming. The sushi was so fresh and tasty... definitely some of the best I've had in a while. The staff were really friendly and made the whole experience even better. I have to say, the robot service touch was such a fun surprise! Can't wait to go back. I would suggest going not during busy eating hours - This place has been very busy at times and is a new restaurant. read more
