The two employees of ALL_LOCK-RESCUE phoned me 30 minutes in advance to let me know about their arrival. They arrived on time, one gentleman introduced himself as Todd, and his coworker. They used their time very effectively, Todd was training his coworker and found them to work well together. They not only managed their time well but did a great job. Have been in my house for nearly 2 months now, but with a succession of repairs being needed right away, this was the first chance I'd had to call a locksmith. Plus, I realized that I had several security weaknesses that needed to be addressed immediately. I figured I'd be waiting a while, but they were able to send someone out the same day I called! Impressive already. Todd showed up promptly in the window they gave me, and set right to work on the 4 locks, multiple deadbolts, and new knobs I asked for. He worked very efficiently, and had it done within I'd say 45 minutes or so, with several keys cut too. He was polite and friendly, and I trusted him completely. I've been a customer for 25 years. I would never use anyone else. Today, I needed a key made for a mortise lock on an antique cabinet. My 92 year old aunt lost the key because she wraps it in tissue to hide it. Then she accidentally threw the tissue away. Anyway.....I emailed All Lock to see if they can do a mortise key. They replied after about an hour and told me to bring it by the shop. I was greeted immediately and Curtis came right out to my van to have a look. Within 15 minutes he had the new key and a spare made. $20 for the new key and $15 for the spare. I have used them in the past to replace my van door lock after a break-in. They are kind and compassionate. One guy even put a new nut on my son's tricycle. I'm not kidding whet I say they are stand up guys. In the middle of the pandemic, the deadbolt lock on our back door broke. We were left with only one door to exit, both a fire hazard and a major inconvenience. I called a locksmith on the north side where we live that we have dealt with since we bought this house over 30 years ago. The store was closed but I was told to wait for someone else to call. I didn't hear back after 90 minutes so I called All Lock Rescue since they were also on the north side and I considered a fire hazard to be a real emergency. They answered immediately so I booked a mobile locksmith for the early afternoon. Todd showed up an hour early, which we appreciated, given our urgent problem. Our old lock was obsolete but Todd was able to find a new lock which could be keyed to the other locks in the house. In addition, he tightened the hinges so the door opened and closed more easily. So my friend had an issue. I sent her there with instructions. They did something different which cost less money. But the kid (I'm assuming in training) who did the work, make a small error. When I called them back the dude seemed mortified and apologized profusely. My friend took it back and the missing piece was put on. It worked beautifully. I have no issues about mistakes if they make it right. They admitted it right away and then made it right. That tells me they care about their customers. I call that customer service. And of course the deadbolt works so much better so the fix was perfect and very cost effective. About half what I expected. read more
