Drop Zone gave a detailed estimate listing all parts of the project, equipment that would be used, personnel involved, photos of the plants/trees to be trimmed or removed, and of course an estimated price. After getting a couple more estimates from other tree removal companies, it was obvious Drop Zone was the one we should choose, and I am glad we did! The work was professionally done and our property looks so much better. They had the right equipment for trimming four 40' trees, cutting down a tree, removing some scrubby old shrubs, and excavating the root balls. (We want to plant another tree there in the future.) Before they left, the ground was hand raked and made level, sidewalks and the driveway were swept, and no mess was left behind. Afterwards, Jon walked the property with me to show what had been done and to see if we had any questions. All in all, Drop Zone did a fantastic job! I live in the woods and have lots of trees to contend with. I love the trees. I love the shade. I love the woods. Most of them, we let do their natural thing, but some close to the house need some special attention. After my first experience with this crew I am confident in the degree of attention they give every single phase of their work, from cutting the trees, ensuring they don't damage septic tank / lines, etc., to dropping the limbs in safe places, preserving surrounding trees, to taking care of their own safety as well as any others around (me!), and cleaning up. They all communicated well with me to ensure they were doing what I wanted done. Two or three of the half dozen or so trees I wanted done in a particular way. There was no "we are the experts; go to the house!" attitude. It was, "we are the experts; help us see what do you want done and lets communicate to plan how best to meet those goals. There ya' go!
