Great shop, they had a ton of work I was in a bind and in a hurry to put a engine together for my sons car, but they had a 1-2 week booked schedule for work. After hearing my timeframe and why, for my son to need his car for a new job starting soon the owner Steve went out and looked at the engine measured my crank and sized the main and rod bearings, measured cylinder walls, ring size, pistons, all for free and just asked me to come back for future business. He referred me to another machine shop that does a lot of Subaru's (Area Automotive) so I could know what I needed to assemble this engine asap. I was amazed at his commitment and for whatever reason he cared about my situation, that alone has me set on all future engine work with this shop. My second rebuild project a guy named mark there was just as helpful, he showed me other cranks he was working on and recommended brand names and answered tons of questions about rebuilding a big block or building my 350 into a 383 stroker.
