I don't typically write these reviews, but I definitely want to jump on here and say Dale Rimmer…read morewas beyond amazing. I got his name and number from my vet actually so I had to cancel the appointment because water was pouring out of my ceiling which I thought was a roofing issue from my porch. It turned out that it was a heating pipe that split. My daughter told me that the floor upstairs was soaked. I ran upstairs I pulled up the carpet and it was scolding to the touch. There was a lot of steam coming off the floor. I ended up calling the fire company going way over the extreme, but by that point I had already called Dale Rimmer. He ended up getting here as fire company was leaving ( which was 20 minutes ) He did explain on the phone that it was probably just steam coming off the floor. He remained with me at the house until I had somebody able to come out and fix the pipe( the fire company turned off my boiler as it was pouring water into my house). I'm also leaving a review for my Fire company. I've never needed them in all my years living here, but they were downright amazing and the same thing with the police downright amazing. I cannot be thankful enough for my community and the fact that Dale was the voice a reason and calmness in my crazy day.!!!

Several siding contractors we called said they only did siding. Dale said he had contractors that he has worked with for years that could do the stone work and build the new porch. Dale was involved during the entire process and the stone mason and carpenter he brought in were great. The porch and stone work turned out better than we expected. We also had a new flagstone walkway installed and our deck refurbished. The new siding, gutters and downspouts completed the makeover of our home's exterior. Dale was personally involved and was quick to answer and questions or concerns we had. All of the people took pride in their work and the results show it.

He didn't overcomplicate the project or load me up with roofing jargon like other contractors did. Their quote came in customized to our project and was built to have no large "extra material " surprises when the project closed. They were always communicative and friendly about the project. When they encountered a situation that was abnormal, they walked me through the issue and offered resolutions that would've cost them money. They seem to be stand-up craftsmen who want to do a good job at all costs and don't treat their customers like just another number. If you are going to invite anyone to do work on their home especially on your roof, they are the type to get.

I had water leaking from my roof down into my upstairs bathroom ceiling. These scammers ripped me off, paid $350 cash for nothing. the 2 guys who came out had a hard time climbing a ladder and walking on my roof which is not that steep as the guys from state farm were able to easily walk on my roof. once on the roof, they claim that they found nothing wrong but wanted $350 for just coming out. What a scam. I Had to call Home Depot to send out one of their contractors to repair my roof, they put flashing boot and sealer around one of their boots (pipes) coming out of of the roof. It's a simple fix that these guys missed. Stay away from these guys, save your money and go w/ someone else. I would recommend talking w/ your local Home Depot or Lowe's to recommend someone. These guys are overpriced and a disappointment.

Don't use All States Roofing Contractors. You will regret it!!!…read more They recommended installing a new scupper drain box to fix a roof leak. The owner then left the country and sent his father to do the work. Afterward, I received a call from a third party claiming to be the contractor, threatening to remove the scupper unless payment was made immediately -- completely unacceptable and alarming. The repair failed. I still have active water intrusion, and it has caused interior damage to my home. This company showed a serious lack of professionalism, oversight, and accountability. The workmanship did not resolve the problem, and the billing tactics were concerning. Homeowners - proceed with extreme caution! Verify who is performing the work, how payments are handled, and whether the company is operating to proper standards. ----------------------------- Your response contains multiple inaccuracies ... First, your claim that you "tried calling me multiple times" is false. You never called me. I have no missed calls, voicemails, or call logs from you after the work. What I do have is a saved voicemail left on 4/11/25, immediately after the work was performed. Second, your statement about nonpayment is also false. I paid a deposit on 4/04/25 and made final payment on 4/18/25. Both payments were made by credit card, and I have full documentation proving this. At no point was payment withheld "for over a month," and suggesting otherwise is simply untrue. Third, the call threatening to remove the scupper came from a third party claiming to be associated with you, and it occurred after the work was completed and while payment had already been made. Regardless of how you now characterize it, that call was inappropriate and alarming, and it happened under your company's name. Finally, the scupper installation you recommended did not resolve the leak. I continue to have water intrusion, and it has caused interior damage. Shifting blame to "the rest of the roof" does not change the fact that the specific repair you proposed and performed failed to correct the issue it was meant to fix. I am stating verifiable facts, supported by payment records and saved voicemail evidence. Any implication that I am misrepresenting events is incorrect. If you wish to discuss this further, it should begin with an acknowledgment of these facts.

BEWARE: Deceptive Practices…read more I recently contracted with M&S Roofing and Contracting to replace an asphalt shingle roof. The experience has been a nightmare. 1. Do not ever sign an estimate or contract with M&S that contains this unqualified sentence: "Replace any damaged wood using 1/2" plywood at 115.00 per sheet." This one sentence renders their entire written estimate worthless. In the first place, the stated cost to "replace" damaged plywood represents 200% of the actual retail cost (not even discounted contractor cost) per sheet of 1/2" plywood. This is grossly excessive as the retail cost at the supplier is $36.67 per sheet. Second, and much worse, this sentence essentially allows the contractor to inflate at will the amount of plywood needed. It gives M&S a blank check to decide the amount of overpriced plywood they judge to be "required." The context implies that only a few sheets beyond three should need to be "replaced" and there is no provision that the homeowner must be updated concerning the added cost beyond the estimate. In my case M&S re-decked the entire roof without bothering to advise me of the added cost until after the work was done. Nothing was "replaced." Instead, having already been stripped of shingles, the entire roof was covered with 36 (!) sheets of new plywood for a total of $3,795 (33-3 x $115). Along with misc. related charges this effectively DOUBLED the estimated $7500 cost of re-roofing. 2. The proposal also carries the following provision: "This proposal shall become a binding contract between us on your written acceptance hereof. The contract is contained herein, and there are no other covenant, agreements, representations, understandings, warranties or promises, expressed or implied. Alteration or deviation from the above terms involving extra cost, material or labor will only be executed upon written work order. Work orders will become an extra charge. This does not pertain to any plywood replacement. Any permits will be additional." Needless to say, having learned what was done and the cost involved without consulting me I refused to sign the new "invoice." Claims that I had verbally agreed to re-decking (which I did not) are irrelevant given the stipulation that only "written acceptance" is valid. After repeated protests and demands to renegotiate the charges I was offered a $400 discount and repeatedly instructed to re-read the above plywood-replacement verbiage. The person in charge, Marty, signed off the last phone call with "see you in court."
