This store is so quaint and lovely. They have a large selection of catholic bibles and items. We've recently been called back to the Catholic faith and made it a point to come in. It was exciting to walk in and converse with the owner. He was a gentle man who radiates kindness. I have a feeling we'll be frequenting quite often. read more

The owner is a very sweet man, he has a great collection of anything Catholic. He gave me $10 off a new copy of the current New Saint Joseph's Sunday Missal for multiple years, which he didn't need to do but did. Their statues and jewelry male/female are all gorgeous and he has amazing books in both English and Spanish. Love that this store has pretty much everything you're looking for. I ordered a pendant and it came in so fast! Not even one week to be exact! Tried ordering from Saint Francis store first, but unfortunately their store is disorganized, has no set hours, and the staff unfortunately isn't that pleasant. When I went in to check on an order i placed at Saint Francis, I overhead the guy say "geeze these people don't stop bothering about the dang store!" I was extremely offended because for one you're at a church and second because I had placed the order 3 weeks prior just to be told it never came in. Plus no apology. First time coming in to this store. This small Catholic store is located across the street from St. Francis on H Street. Always passed by it and thought about stopping by to check it out. Finally had a reason to go. We needed to get a personal sized bible for our daughter going to church camp. When you walk in, an alarm will sound... Warning, it will beep a gazillion times before it stops. It's not like other alarms in stores you walk into that only beeps twice or 3x the most. This one beeped like forever! LOL! The owner was there when we came to shop and was very helpful and friendly. A young man was also there working with him or helping out. He was very friendly and offered help as well. We browsed through a few kinds and sizes of bible they have for sale until my daughter decided to pick a nice personal sized one with a red leather zippered cover. It was reasonably prized and we continued to browse for other items they have for sale at the store. We ended up picking up a small prayer book as well in this trip. We like this little store. They have a pretty good supply of items you may need and service was great! Will definitely come back if we need anything else. read more

A cute little shop to pick up a great gift or or something personal they have lots of rosaries, to statues, to crucifixes, and much more just be careful when walking around everything's kind of in a small little building so if other people are there it's hard to look at stuff. We had to return the next day because the rosary we purchased was broken not realizing it at the time of purchase. I went as soon as they open the next morning the gentleman was very courteous and exchanged it out for us with no hassle and was even nice enough to give us a prayer card for inconvenience of having to come back even though we tried to pay for it. We will definitely be back to the store for any future purchases when in Bakersfield. read more
