I was charged $688 for a muffler and 2.25 straight pipe install. I was told that the muffler was a…read more50 series Flow Master for $180. After I pickup my supra I noticed the exhaust sound wasn't consistent which Flow Master and lifted the car to discover a generic no brand muffler and very poor welded job. When I confronted Omar, he said that despite my muffler not saying it was a Flow Master. I called Flowmaster the company to confirm, and they let me know they do not create Flowmaster mufflers without the Flowmaster brand emblem. Advance Muffler also had installed a 'magma flow" muffler on my son's Acura Integra a few months back so I also lifted his car to find that his muffler was also generic with no brand markings. I spoke to Omar about the situation and he refunded my Supra install and stated he is not a muffler guy and didn't know. I believe this shop often claims to sell you brand name mufflers, like Flowmaster at a premium price and installs generic no name mufflers not expecting customers to ever check.

With 36 years spent behind the wheel, and having driven extensively in Europe, Asia and now USA, I have had my fair share of garages to maintain my cars in pristine conditions. When I moved to the USA my experience with buying and servicing a car, from the main accredited dealership, was so bad that I never went back to the main house. I then was suggested this family run business and discovered a little jewel. They are highly professional and they really know their job and their cars. Work is always discussed with you in advance and I have never felt spending a dollar more than it was necessary. They still have a high degree of integrity in how they run their business and courtesy and attention to customer services will take you back a few decades, when customers where known by first name. This is an excellent, trustworthy and conscientious team of mechanics. Ask for Gerard who still runs this business as very few these days do. Five stars no doubt. read more

I have been taking my vehicles to Gary for several years now and am so happy my mechanic recommended him to me. He is professional, conveniently located off the 210 fwy, always friendly and very informative. About a year ago I had an issue with my car that I was unaware of and he was kind enough to show me what the issue was and let me know I should look into it before it becomes a huge problem and expensive it I were to let it go. I bring my car here every other year for a smog test when my registration renewal is due. Ghazi is not only thorough, but so honest. At my recent test, I saw him start to look under my car with a flashlight. Being paranoid, I expected the worst. Then I saw him go toward my gas cap. I have a locking cap, so he asked me to open it. When I did, he showed me that I was putting the cap on incorrectly, which was not letting my car pass the test. He put it on correctly, showed me how, and the car passed immediately. If you need to have your car smog tested, this is the place to go. I recommend it highly. read more

I highly recommend this place. It's easy to drive past, adjacent to the shell station, so keep an eye out. Gary is very helpful and nice. It was cheaper than I expected to spend and done in about 10 minutes. I was putting off getting my smog test because it's always been a hassle when I've gotten it elsewhere. Arthur looked at the printout paperwork and said that that may not be the problem. He popped the hood and he found the problem within less than a minute. One of the hoses was not connected to the engine and reconnected it. After another diagnostic check found that there may another issue but suggest that I drive a few miles to reset the emissions computer. After I drove the recommended miles I had the car smog check and it passed. I've brought in a number of cars we've had to Arthur. He is very honest, friendly and knowledgeable.
