To the business owners, I recommend that you suggest people who review the business on TripAdvisor also review it here! Wow, this excursion was so worth it! I booked this trip as a fun thing for my husband and I to do. We went out on a Sunday morning with Captain Curtis and Julian, the deckhand. There were a few other passengers on the boat because we booked a shared charter. Communication was great - I got directions and information about the outing all the way up to getting a text in the morning of our trip confirming that we will see the captain soon. We drove out to various spots in the Sound. It was really cool to hear about the different types of fish that are in the water and what's in season etc. Someone who knows nothing about fishing - I enjoyed looking at the monitors that show aquatic life under the water surface and learning about the fishing boats parts and what they all do. This isn't really an informational tour, but any questions or things that you want to know, the team will be happy To answer. Our deckhand did a really awesome job of checking on a different fishing poles and when there was a potential bite, he made sure everything was set up so that someone can hop on and reel in the fish. I noticed that some people were saying that it's not really fishing because you're not doing the set up and what have you but if you don't have any of the equipment or a vessel to go out on the water, a fishing charter solves all of that. I had no fishing experience but other passengers on the boat did and they also had an equally fun time trying to fight those fish who did not want to come in! Also nowhere on the website does it say that you're guaranteed to catch fish so people should keep that in mind -- We just happened to have a lucky day and every passenger on the boat was able to take home the legal limit. Our captain gave us the best opportunities to catch fish and when we returned to the marina, the team cut and filleted our fish so they were in a bag ready to take home. We live close by so we weren't worried about chilling but if you live further away, I might recommend having a cooler bag and getting some ice after the trip to keep your fish chilled. The best part for me was seeing all the harbor seals come into the marina who were waiting for leftover fish parts - It was so cute to see them come up and eat all the Nom Noms! I will say this is definitely a more expensive excursion and I booked it for a special occasion, but it was definitely worth it and we would recommend our fishing charter team to anyone looking for a fun fishing experience. I've heard you are more likely to catch fish in the morning compared to the afternoon charters and I would check to see what fish are in season and how many you're allowed to catch before you book your trip so you know what to expect. Also remember to bring cash to tip your boat's deckhand! read more

Absolutely amazing ! We went with the team out of Edmonds! Captain Erik Boston was an absolutely amazing guide! And his deckhand Sammy was a total stud! We had our 5 year old with us and they both were so fun and friendly to her and she ended up reeling in the most fish. We limited out in 4 hours! Will definitely be back! read more

Thank you, Captain Eric and All Star Fishing Charter Edmonds for a perfect day. From the welcome text we received the day before our trip to the excellent directions to free parking to the beautiful boat and knowledgeable Captain--it was a 5 star plus day. We had enviable conditions--warm sun, calm Puget Sound and abundant fish! Captain Eric was a great teacher--we moved from one excellent spot to another and caught our Coho limit before 8 am and then caught our flounder limit! Of all the positives about the day, I think the most vivid was that Captain Eric's enthusiasm matched ours. Though he has spent his life fishing, he shared the joy we felt as beginners. We'll be back--hopefully for King Salmon season which begins in July! And we'll be requesting Eric once again! read more

What a great Charter! We came up to Seattle for a wedding. My son and I had to try some salmon fishing as we're from SoCal and haven't done it before. I can't say enough about Gretchen and Nick. Amazing crew as were the other anglers on the boat. We left at 6 and limited out by 8. Whaaaaat?! Even if we got skunked I'd still be writing this review with 5 stars. My son and I went out with Lenny (I believe that was his name) and a third person who joined us--that was a little bit of a surprise for us so you might want to get clarification if it's just your group or others joining your fishing party. We went trolling in Puget Sound. Left out of Everett. Fishing for salmon. Fished from about 7:30am-12:30pm. The first thing we had to do was pick an order of who would go first. We had two rods in the water. I said I would go last because I wanted my son to catch something. The gentleman who joined us said he would go second, and we were off. This was on Sunday, March 12, 2017. We trolled for 3 hours before we got our first bit of action. The captain pulled the rod off the holder and said there was one on there. My son reeled in a very small fish (picture attached) that we had to release. The other guy was up now, and it wasn't long before he caught one that was a keeper (picture attached). It was now my turn. We trolled around for two more hours without a bite and headed into port. The captain was very nice. The boat we used (they have multiple apparently) was fine. The fishing sucked which is certainly not their fault. I didn't really like the third person being added to our group without us knowing about it, and $420 was a lot of money for a long boat ride. read more

I took my 10 year old son on this trip as a Xmas present. He was dying to go fishing and we chose All Star. I interacted with Greg, the owner when buying the trip and he was great to work with. Our boat Captain, Nick was knowledgable and made us feel safe and right at home. We caught tons of fish and met our limit for the day. I promised myself I'd write a review, which I often forget to do after the fun has faded and gone. Last night we cooked the salmon and one of the first things I thought of this morning was getting on here and sharing our experience. We're already planing another trip. read more

Fishing experience was a lot of fun, great views, staff was very pleasant. A couple amenities such as sodas, water and or a few little snacks should be provided and for as much as it cost for one person for fishing. Out the door was 440 dollars for two people and two fishing licenses for 5:30-11 am. Really didn't care for the requests for tips when the skipper and captain ( one man show) owed the boat. I would like to say the stars should be about a 3.5 for the price and lack of snacks and drinks. read more

Unorganized and not at all worth the price. Was never told we were exclusively fishing flounder (sand dab) was very boring. Cruised around water for over 3/4 amount of time spent. The boat needed to be docked to refuel. We asked if we could get time added back on since this was not our fault. After refueling we raced back to the dock area where we were finally able to "fish". This was not fishing, it was dropping a line and feeling in fish. It was equivalent to fishing out of a barrel. No fun at all. We were all very disappointed as we were expecting a better experience. Not only was fishing lack luster, we did not see any nature. I would have understood if we maybe ran across a whale pod or even dolphins. This trip was not a good experience. Strongly do not recommend. There are better options. read more

We were quoted $230 per person with a reservation for 3 people. When it was time to settle up we were charged $250 per person. It threw a damper on the day. read more
