Said my car was "blocking the way." Confirmed w/customers car was "not" in the way. I ask her to " leave me alone" and I would comply with her request once finished. Sonya responds " I don't have to." (Begins mentioning a complaint I made about other customers involving them moving their car). Sonya THREATENED to "EVICT" me w/ " 2 days to get my stuff out." There are some serious issues at this place you'll want to know about. First, the good: I was greeted kindly by the dark haired guy, (whose name I've forgotten) when I initially signed up for storage at Encinitas All storage. He was really sweet to offer hiking ideas, etc. I was optimistic. That optimism turned out to be short-lived, and here is why: 1. The reviews stating there are storage renters LIVING on the premises out of the units is 100% correct. That is not a safe situation by any means. I hated that aspect for personal safety as well as for my belongings. Speaking of safety, (and disregard): I cut my finger three times on a lift door that they refused to fix for almost a MONTH. When I initially mentioned that it stopped lifting properly, Sonya was condescending and unhelpful in her dismal. She refuted the need when other staff AGREED that it unequivocally needed fixing. As you may have surmised, her professionalism is non- existent as others have stated, too. 2. Holy god, the pesticide they use is so toxic that you cannot remove that pesticidal stench from your stuff/clothes even months after vacating. The smell is disgusting and they load it up. There were times while at my unit, I could barely breathe due to that smell in the hall. 3. Sonya prides herself in presenting a sign on the counter that says "Queen of everything." It'd be fine if it were merely a joke, but her myopic attitude reflects it. The placard should rather, and more aptly, say: "Narcissistic "queen" of nothing...but bottomless misery." Or point blank: "bad for business." She is unthinkably rude. I witnessed, first hand, that in the center of her vitriole, resides a -classless- core of hostility. One afternoon, appallingly, I heard her utter to a woman who'd expressed frustration that sounded observantly reasonable amidst Sonya's excessive cussing: "You're crazy, nuts... Go ahead, who cares...write a review. No-one will care. It'll be crazy, too." My mouth was ajar, not unlike the woman who stood up to her. She is a nasty person seemingly waiting for an outlet to unleash it upon. Don't be that, readers. Find a better place. I strongly suggest that if you value these three things, -and presumably you do: basic professional respect, safety and thirdly, non-toxic cleanliness, then, you'll surely store your belongings elsewhere. I did an Experiment and hung 4 moisture rid Bags... and in one month collected four pounds of water... when moving out I found mold and mildew and bugs In my artwork (which was professionally Wrapped when moving in)... on my furniture And on leather goods.... When I arrived on moving day at All Storage in Encinitas, I was smoothly enticed in w greetings of cookies and tea, then paperwork and swiftly led to my unit. Sonya and Erik were wonderful at All Storage. They are friendly and were very accommodating to my needs. The storage facility is spotless. They had coffee (which I needed in the morning) and even offered my 4 year old Grandnephew snacks. The only problem that I had was Sonya swiped the correct card for payment but for some reason UHAUL charged the card that I used to reserve the van. I called UHAUL and spoke with both Jessica & Candice to correct the mistake. They were both very sweet. The manager Joe was the only one who had the ability to reverse the charge on the wrong card. I've been renting a storage unit at All Storage - Encinitas for more than two years, and it's about time I gave them a shout out. Sonia and Erik are VERY friendly and helpful, it's easy to get in and out (gate code), it's conveniently located right off the 5 on a residential street, and seems very safe and secure. I've never experienced any problems with mold/mildew, insects, pests, or pesticide odors. The prices are very reasonable here, too. I recently moved from a larger unit to a smaller unit, and Sonia made it very easy by finding me a unit on my same floor in the same building. For payments, I use the autopay online, couldn't get any easier. Happy customer! read more

At first this place was great. They had a first month $1 special where they also give you a truck to move your stuff for free (you pay gas). Rhonda and her husband were super nice and friendly and everything was perfect...UNTIL it was time to pay the first months rent. You can pay rent online which is nice, however when the wife went to pay, there was an error. She called and Rhonda's husband answered accusing that there had to be something wrong with the card, because it couldn't possibly be a problem on their end. So the bank was called and turns out there wasn't anything wrong with the card (DUH) and it was their crappy ass computer system. A pending charge was on the bank account so we thought everything was fine...well it wasn't because the charge never went through so the wife had to go there to pay in person. They were beyond rude when she went to pay. They lure you in with their deals, then treat you like shit after you're there. I'm glad out stuff is only going to be here for 3 months. It's a rip off to pay $136/mo for a 10x10 unit that is upstairs, you have to use a crappy ass lift to get your stuff up there, AND deal with the assholes at the front desk. No thanks. read more

This place is great and the customer service is even better. I recently had my stuff moved by a moving company to this location and I had an issue with the driver. Clark and Viki helped out in every way possible by directing traffic for the driver and helping out to get the driver unstuck. They really went above beyond the call of duty. I had a great experience with All Storage of Encinitas. After a three day trek across the country with a temperamental UHaul trailer I was pretty much over it. Not only were they able to quickly give me the unit I needed on the day I walked in without an appointment, but the customer service from both Sonya and Manny was paramount. The best part- they took care of returning my trailer to UHaul for me, something that I know they don't normally do but were kind enough to volunteer for after seeing how tired and frustrated I had been over my move. They allow homeless people to LIVE out of their units and take virtual showers in the bathroom sink! It is dirty, it smells now & there is trash everywhere. Someone dented in my door. I no longer feel safe going there at night. And don't BOTHER voicing any concerns. You will be cursed at and called names & told to go elsewhere by these 2 idiots. Wonderful friendly people here provided me with prompt, and very helpful service. its a clean safe facility with alarms on each storage unit which provides exceptional security over my important belongings while being stored. Its only one dollar for the first month of storage as well with no strings attached because its a month to month plan with them. i have stored my personal belongings at many different storage places as i have moved across the country and this is by far the friendliest staff and best security that i have ever seen at a storage unit rental place. There is staff their 24 hours to ensure ultimate security over a break in. A van or truck is also offered for free by them for your move, you must pay the gas and a small milage fee. DO NOT RENT HERE! You can not trust anything the managers tell you here, and if you try to get the phone number to Corporate Headquarters, the managers won't give it to you. My husband and I rented a 25x35' unit after we sold our large home in Rancho Santa Fe. Our rent was $355 a month. The rent was paid on auto-pay through our credit card. The rent was raised $10 a month, yet we were never notified in writing. After almost two years, we approached the managers, Viki and Dave. They are bold faced liars, one cannot trust anything they say. We told management we were moving into a smaller unit, a 10x10'. Our rent was paid from the 3rd of the month. Here's what happened: On March 28th we signed a new lease, it was before the April 3rd rent was due. Viki said she would prorate it in our favor. Instead, she forward dated the new lease to April 4th. We moved into a smaller unit, and Viki and Dave said we could keep a treadmill we were donating on April 15th to Amvets in the unit we moved out of at no charge until Amvets could pick it up. I gave them a leather office chair that I paid a lot of money for, for their letting us store the treadmill at no charge. They assured us that there would be no charge on at least three occasions. They insisted we use their loaner lock. The treadmill was picked up on April 15th, and we returned the loaner lock on April 17th, thanking them for their kindness. When we got our credit card bill we were charged for two storage units for the month of April? Thinking there must have been a mistake, I called Viki. All of the sudden she had deal amnesia. She said she didn't remember our numerous conversations where they said we could keep the treadmill at no charge until Amvets picked it up. When I protested, she acted like a child and hung up on me, twice. This is no way to do business to good customers that have paid rent for almost two years on time. It doesn't make sense that we would pay rent on two units. Then she told me that the best she could do was " prorate our rent on the unit we moved out of on March 28th until April 19th? We gave them their loaner lock back on April 17th. Now we are going to move everything out of their as soon as possible because the managers are untrustworthy. In another review, it states their cameras don't work. These people are liars, this is a bad company that can't be trusted in my opinion. I also have noticed that this facility has a lot of vacancies recently. I wonder why. Don't trust these dishonest persons! read more

I rented a storage space from all storage, what a nightmare! make sure you get any promises in writing. The onsite managers made an agreement with me, then they said that we never had this conversation, it felt like I was in the twilight zone, I am not used to people flat out lying to me. I always paid rent on time and thought things like this only happened to people who did not pay on time or caused problems, boy was I naive, what a scam, any time people are overly nice (in the beginning) it's a red flag! I'd like to say yes it is frustrating to move and I was frustrated so when the lady I think it was Sonya went out her way to get me in the same day actually within a few hours of my initial call I was thankful for her customer service. The reason it is not higher is the young man behind the counter was so rude upon my arrival and actually rolled his eyes when I asked for directions to the unit. I took that with a grain of salt. I chalked it up to my annoying day. Well, I went back twice now and my mood was all nice and better and the same guy was very rude and not helpful at all. That being said that is just one guy so minus one star for that. My second minus one star is I went to a friends upstairs storage and she pays the same amount within a mile or so of this place and it is carpeted, clean, and the biggest point I have to make is they have lightening in the unit. I didn't even think that was a "thing" but when I went twice in the day I couldn't even retrieve simple items because there is no lightbulb in my unit or a place to put a lightbulb. Yes, I switched on the lightening for the hallway but that doesn't do a thing to light up the inside of my unit. It makes a big difference if you plan on trying to grab an item day/ or night when upstairs. It's like they cut corners on the lightening/ elevator/ and the carts to carry your stuff are half broken. They can do better is all I'm saying. read more
