My experience was completely the opposite of the other reviewer. Which is interesting because it involves the same brand...Onkyo. I paid the $75 bench fee only to be told a few days later that it was not repairable because the Onkyo parts are proprietary and Onkyo had discontinued them. The guy outside Atlantic City who eventually fixed the unit told me "That is a complete falsehood. There is nothing proprietary inside that unit." So they basically took my $75 "bench fee" and lied. That is called fraud. I know they do warranty work for manufacturers, but if you have any electronics not covered by a manufacturers warranty do not go here. They "live off bench fees." read more

hello, these people are able to fix everything I've thrown at them. if they can't readily get a board or transformer from onkyo the just get your electronic back. onkyo seems to be a middle man like Realistic and RadioShack. I plugged in an rca cord in to a live amp and blew it. good as new. I also put to much juice into another amp and cooked it. good as new again. they successfully re capped a third amp. thank you alltech. read more
