We hired Brabham to install a 6 foot wood backyard fence for us about three years ago. It was…read morepoorly done. Nails were missing. They used poor quality pickets, with many knotholes and warping. The pickets were spaced finger width apart, and have separated more as they aged. The installers "eyeballed" the stringers instead of using a level or a string, so they are not even. One section swayed when pushed, and had to be reinforced. Mr. Brabham was argumentative when he finally came to inspect the work (he never showed up to see how his workers were doing), but did make some repairs, replacing holey pickets and adding a post and nails. Every time I look at the fence in my backyard, I'm reminded of the importance of keeping up with the workers daily. I should have done that. On the other hand, I shouldn't have needed to! I hope to help others to make a better choice in fencing.
