DO NOT USE ALLBRIGHT CLEANERS. I brought in an expensive Patagonia jacket for a zipper to Allbright cleaners in June 2021. I was told it would be ready in ten days. Since then I've been told that they have no idea where it is, it appears to be lost. I've left the owner Randy Stutts many messages through his counter lady Tyler and he has not has the courtesy to return any of my calls. Horrible experience and through this date no remedy. They are over priced and have inconvenient hours and days. l brought vacation dry cleaning there, l went to pick it up on a day they were supposed to be open and they were closed. I had to scramble at the last minute to find new clothes I spent $ on the dry cleaning and new clothes. When l asked for a refund they just shrugged their shoulders and said sorry, no refunds. In August of this year (2021) I dropped off my comforter with Allbright Cleaners, which is located in close proximity to the Market Commons Shopping Center, Myrtle Beach, SC. Several days later I went back to pick up this item after having them clean the comforter. On the day I dropped it off for cleaning, the female employee informed me that they normally send items of this size out to another business organization for cleaning purposes. After returning home with my comforter, which by the way was wrapped in some type of bag, I removed it from the bag and to my demise found four to five medium size holes. The following day I returned to the aforementioned business to make them aware of the damage that had incurred to my comforter. I was then informed by a female employee that prior to accepting my comforter, I had signed a ticket, which turned out to be a waiver, releasing them from all damages. A second female employee who was also working that day then commended that she felt like this was not a good business practice, and certainly no way to treat customers. I left my item with them in hopes that they would at minimal replace the comforter. I also was informed that they would have the owner call me to discuss this issue. As of present date, I have yet to receive any compensation for the item, and furthermore, never even received any call back from the owner. I will never set foot inside this business ever again! Walked in and the lady at the desk told me she'd be with me momentarily. I stood and waited for 5 min while she continued to tag clothes. No words were spoken. When another customer walked in, she stopped what she was doing and helped that customer, not even saying a word to me so I proceeded to leave immediately. Worst service ever. Not really trying to say they are racist but, it definitely seemed strange. And just to make sure this is the right one, it's the cleaners in the food lion parking lot right off of fantasy harbor and next to forest brook. Terrible terrible service read more

Do not use Allbright Cleaner. Out of 5 items I took there they ruined 3. Two silk shirts and a white blazer. The pink silk shirt came back tie dyed, it was so bad I left it there. The cream silk shirt returned with new stains on the back side. Did not notice this till I got home. My white blazer is cream, and the press job on these 3 items was not good, I could have done it better at home. The lady there admitted the stains on the pink shirt were not there when I dropped it off, though she said the owner will do nothing except maybe, maybe a 20% discount. I was told to call back the next day and speak with someone. Well, they don't seem to answer the phone. I spent 29.00 for them to ruin $500 worth of clothing. No discount was offered to me even after they admitted the stains were not there. All the conversation spoke of this elusive owner who would most likely do nothing, but "you're welcome to call tomorrow and speak to so and so", the lady says. Well, they have my #, my $$, and my ruined shirt. Good customer service, and/or owners would have addressed the issue. I've been to a lot of cleaners and this is by far the worst experience I've had. I've had these same items cleaned many times and have not had a problem. I've lived her all my life and I know this kind of customer service will not survive around here. Do not use Albright cleaners. They ruined my grand daughters wool coat. This was the final straw- they repeatedly pressed my pants flat when they were supposed to have creases but I kept going back because of convenience. Back to the coat - It arrived to them in perfect shape just needing a routine cleaning. After I picked it up and took it off the hanger I noticed a huge damp dark spot with a strong chemical smell under the buttoned up collar. I drove back immediately and showed it to the lady at the counter and she took no ownership of the problem, only said she would leave it for the owner to look at. I was then informed the next day by the lady at the counter that she had spoken with the owner and he said the coat came in that way!! I asked her to have him call me and she told me she could leave a message for me but she doubted he would call back which was accurate. Due to their incompetence, the coat was too stained to wear on our trip to New York City, which was especially disappointing since I had bought matching coats for her and her doll to wear on the trip. I asked them to run the coat through a second time to see if it would come out, and miracle of miracles, the spot came out. If it was there when I brought the coat, why wouldn't it have come out the first time? I believe they spilled some kind of chemical fluid on it and that's why it came out the second time. Regardless of what happened, my grand daughter was disappointed to not have her matching coat, the owner lied about the spot and refuses to address issues, and the help behind the counter are trained to pass off customers' complaints as "not their problem". My husband and I have spent hundred of dollars with this cleaner! I have an expensive brand new blouse....wore it once....took it to Allbright to clean it. It is now ruined. My royal blue blouse has big brown spots all down one side. Same discoloring when you bleach blue and it turns brown. Wouldn't be so bad if the ownership would just take responsibility for it instead of passing the buck. They took my blouse back to have a "specialist" look at it. That was 2 weeks ago. They will not return phone calls, and they still have my blouse! Our phone calls and attempts to show up in person have been avoided. The lady at the counter is equally at fault. Says all the time it is her first day and she doesn't know how to correct the problem. She also acts like she is calling the owner for us, but it always "goes to voice mail" . However, she never even gives it enough time for the call to actually connect before she says that. DO NOT SPEND ANY MONEY WITH THIS CLEANER!!!!!! They will not even return a phone call to their most loyal customers who have supported them from the day they opened! read more
