Cassandra's review is pretty much a carbon copy of what I experienced trying to get a job…read morecompleted. Lied about finishing the job (repeatedly), said he would return and finish but never did, didn't have the right supplies - had to run out and pick them up but never returned. Fell asleep at lunch and didn't come back. Overpriced, actually in the category of rip off! I believe he is the most dishonest and flagrant liar I've ever hired. My retaliation was to notify the local independent flooring dealers as well as the St.Louis scheduling office for flooring installations for Lowe's that allowing the POS known as Brown Flooring of Hannibal to install on their behalf in their customers' homes was likely to create a lot of negative backlash for them. Don't even consider this individual, you'll hate yourself if you do. You've been warned twice!

We bought flooring from Mendards and they suggested Michael Brown Flooring to install them. We…read morecalled Michael to install our vinyl flooring in July. He worked Saturday and Sunday and did not finish our staircase or hallway upstairs. He said he would be back within a few days to finish the job. He did not show back up. I contacted him and he said he forgot and we rescheduled. Guess who no showed again?! His excuse the 2nd time of not showing was that he lost his keys. I let him know I had a baby who was crawling on our floor and our staircase had sharp edges and we needed to get them done asap. He finally showed up several weeks later to finish the floors. I told him one of the stair noses had a scratch on and not to use that one because we had plenty. You guessed it, he used it and put it at eye level. It's an eye sore and we paid to have this done right! Another Complaint is When scoring the floor when laying it in the hallway by the front door he used the piece they scored on and laid it right in the center of my front door. It has several cut marks on it and looks horrible. It was supposed to be a junk piece and they USED IT! We paid over 6k for the floors and his labor. He said he would come back to fix that piece this past Tuesday 10/04/2022. I took off work early and had to cancel plans for him to fix it. He was supposed to be there at 4pm. After 4:30p I messaged and asked him if he was still planning on coming. He never called to say he was running late and said he was finishing a job in Quincy. I asked if he were still coming to fix that scratched up piece and he said yes. He NO SHOWED AGAIN!!! My husband messaged him that following Thursday and He never replied to him. It is very frustrating when you pay someone who calls themself a professional and this is how they handle their issues. I understand things happen but simply not paying attention and putting a scratched stair nose at eye level and putting a piece of vinyl that you were using as a scratch piece in the MIDDLE of my hallway by the front door is just carelessness. If he would come back and fix what he screwed up, I wouldn't be writing this review. Sadly he has said he would show and has blown us off too many times. DO NOT USE HIM! We thought he would be great since Menards recommended him and this is the shit show we got!
