After I found out he didn't have any idea what my case was about (after having been paid over $5,000 nearly two months prior) I decided to fire him. He tried to coerce me to keep him retained threatening he would take majority of my retainer. I fired him anyways. He billed me nearly $3,000 for not filing a single piece of paper or having a single legal conversation with me.
