Been coming here basically since my son was born, 11 years ago. Had a couple questionable moments with Dr. Robertson (I agree with other review of her), and Dr. Gronberg (son was sick and he said "I don't know" and charged us $78)...so tried a different Pediatric clinic during COVID... but it was fairly far away and he hounded me about delaying vaccines for my newborn daughter. He also explained how, like a previous reviewer said, if vax/unvax ratios are off he will get in trouble and how they get money for vaxxing kids. Came back to this clinic and made an appointment with a new provider, Dr. Chandler and was quite happy that she didn't give me a hard time... just sign a paper that you decline. She's been great and takes any concerns seriously, plus the office staff is really great and friendly too. They always made sure I got whatever papers I needed signed for school, etc. However today I was informed we could not come back due to declining getting her vaccinated, but she still did my daughters 5 year well check... maybe because we had made the appointment a year ago. Also saw a sign that if you delay vaccines there is an extra fee of like $75. I understand it's their clinic, their choice. Just like it's our bodies, our choice. Just wanted to let other Moms whose kids can't have vaccines for whatever reason, that this is NOT a place that that will care for your child if they're unvaccinated. read more

I, unfortunately, feel the need to write about my family's experience with Dr. Robertson. Look, I don't expect you to be unnecessarily cheerful or outgoing. I am fine if that's not your M.O., but parents should feel that you care about their children. They should also feel listened to. Many first time parents are scared and learning how to take care of a sick baby for the first time. Sometimes, compassion goes a lot further than a prescription or test. My wife and I didn't feel even the slightest bit of concern or empathy at this office, so we found a new doctor. read more

I have been taking my boys here for years & haven't had any real big issues until lately with "missed appt fees"-- we've moved further away from their office and it's difficult working out a good schedule with work and our daughter's therapies. I think it's crazy to charge families $50 for a rescheduled appt- because it wasn't technically a missed appt, we paid it and rescheduled to a new date, because we confirmed it at the time & had to reschedule. The next appt we never confirmed it and tried to reschedule again & were told we needed to pay another $50. My husband overhears and suggests we find another office (as in one CLOSER to our house) and the staff was very quick to say "Okay! You'll just need to sign a release form in order to get everything processed out" - I said I hadn't even mentioned anything but wow you're really quick with that information! Terrible business practice, instead of trying to work with you in an alternative solution or offer to let me speak with the mgr - Nina just figured it's no skin off her back to release us as patients there. Find a different place y'all, they don't think you're worth their time there. read more

The quality of service, care, and respect for patients has drastically diminished at Alliance Pediatrics. My daughter saw Dr. Carter on February 6, 2026. Dr. Carter was not professionally dressed for a Dr., talked over my daughter and my wife, didn't hardly give them a chance to say anything, and didn't conduct a full wellness exam. She was just rushing the entire time to get them out of the practice. Horrible experience and we won't be coming back. One location already closed and it seems like the second location is going downhill as well. Sad. read more

Dr. Jana Robertson was one of the worst, most uncaring, and rude doctors I've ever encountered. My son was sick, and his primary doctor wasn't available, so we scheduled an appointment with her. The entire visit took nearly 90 minutes, with most of that time spent waiting in the room. When she finally arrived, she was unfriendly and had terrible bedside manner. Even my son, who is young, said she was rough with him and didn't like how mean she was. She looked unhappy and seemed like she hated her job. She ran three tests on my baby, all of which came back negative, and she had no idea what was wrong with him. After the long wait and a bill of nearly $400, my son was still sick, and we were left without answers. She didn't seem to care at all and just brushed it off. If you care about your child, do not let this doctor anywhere near them. It's sad!!! read more

Called to make an appointment for first time care for my son. After asking about insurance the first few questions were to hound me about his vaccine status and unsurprisingly they won't see him because I refuse to continue injecting my son with poison. As a vaccine injured person myself, it absolutely disgusts me that they won't take a patient (who is sick and needs to be seen!!) because they can't turn a good enough profit on him. If their vax/nonvax patient ratios are off they don't get the kickbacks. Also unsurprisingly the person I spoke to had a tone the entire conversation- if your going to be a disgusting practice that's focused on money instead of patient care then maybe you could actually point parents in the direction of a ped who will see a sick child. I hope this review saves another parent the time and aggravation of calling around to find a doctor for their child that will actually do their job and PRACTICE MEDICINE instead of mindlessly injecting kids to keep their doors open. read more

Dr Bruce's vaccine statement and as he said, he won't 'fire' his patient for refusing, he must also understand that as a parent that provides for my children day-in and day-out and would sacrifice anything for them, I hope he would respect our decision and move forward. The whole medical community has lost so much respect over the last few years. To think 30+ 'vaccines' in the first 2 years of life is beneficial and has no side effects whatsoever, is madness. I will seek out another pediatrician who isn't clouded by the bureaucracy that has become the American Academy of Pediatrics. read more

Terrible Customer service, long wait times and our experience with Dr. Jana Robertson has been horrible. She is condescending and makes jokes about patients and their parents within ear shot of the family. Our son is autistic and for the past year and a half has basically ignored his diagnosis and provided no helpful medical guidance or referrals. At our last appointment she made an unprofessional joke to the nurse that Mom is crazy, you cannot make Autistic kids more Autistic with vaccines but meanwhile had no substantiated data on the long term effects of vaccines on autistic individuals. There are many complaints online about this Doctor's unprofessionalism and bad bedside manner yet the group will do nothing to stop the behavior. Do not send your kiddos here! read more

See a better pediatric practice. The bad: Dr. Robertson misses essential symptoms and her policy on prescribing antibiotics is so conservative that it is negligent. She's done this three times. We've taken our sons to the urgent care after a visit to find they had symptoms of a bacterial infection when she said it was viral and declined to initiate antibiotic care. Now I understand withholding antibiotics for some time when one thinks it viral, but there are limits to that thinking and especially when there are other symptoms present that she missed. Most recently, our 1 year old son was brought in with a 105 degree fever and she checked him out, didn't recommend antibiotics and told us to come back in a couple days, if the fever persisted, taking Motrin in the interim. The quick flu and strep test came back negative (without a culture the strep test isn't definitive--which they sent for). Now, with a long lasting fever that high, antibiotics shouldn't have been withheld for more than 24 hours in my opinion, just to be safe, and a parent's opinion should be taken into account as doctors differ on antibiotic use. I was told by the nurse when I called that though she would prescribe them in the morning, she wouldn't prescribe them the afternoon when I called--under no circumstances-even though his fever had spiked again. They recommended I take him to an urgent care that was suggested that supposedly could get bloodwork back quickly--bloodwork that they recommended, and that they couldn't fit him in with such a dangerous fever. I was told the urgent care would have blood work capabilities with immediate results, I called and this wasn't the case. So, we took him to the ER. The competent Dr there told us that he had a bacterial infection likely, that his ear and throat were very red. He prescribed the antibiotics and out son got the care needed. Now, I'm perplexed that this is the third time this has happened--she didn't notice the symptoms indicating the need for antibiotics on one of our sons three times--refusing to prescribe any antibiotics at any point--but the ER or urgent care did notice these necessary antibiotics---and my sons got better after taking them. I have to conclude that she is incompetent and doesn't take a collaborative approach to medicine. This puts my sons at danger--waiting 4 days for medicine they need if they have untreated strep or similar. It also is expensive to take them to the ER and stressful. All of this on top of other subpar care and talking down to parents. Do yourself a favor and find a better, more competent pediatric practice. Your kids will be safer and you'll save money. The positive: The front office staff is nice. read more

First we schedule an appointment which takes an entire month. Then I call and confirm new insurance is accepted. Next the office girl(s) give the appointment to another patient without my knowledge (I'm later told it was because "my child hasn't been there in years. " ) When I bring my child in for the scheduled appointment, the office girl tells me I have no appointment but we can come back later to be "fit in". I can't take my child out of school twice in the same day so I tell them to forget it. Finally, I receive a letter from Dr. Groenberg stating that he will no longer be my child's pediatrician. Dr Martin is great when you can get on his calendar. However, these past few times the office staff has been horrible. The lack of communication and the ability to get my kids back in a timely manner sucks. I wouldn't recommend going here as I think it has gotten to big for the amount of patients. I wish Dr. Martin wouldn't have accepted so many. The other doctors at the practice don't have his bedside manner. My kids have been seeing him since they were born. I am not happen. After 5 years it may be time to find another practice, yet I love Dr. Martin. Update: Dr. Kline was really nice as well. read more

Dr. Gromberg and Dr. Kline are great with children. Dr. Robertson will make you feel extremely uncomfortable as a parent, as if you're being interrogated. We have had a horrible experience with Alliance Pediatrics and their staff, lack of follow up when we reach out to the nurses with a question, and they offer no resolutions. This is the second time in two years that we have had to go back in within 24 hours because of a "missed" diagnosis. We are a healthy family, rarely have health issues. Unfortunately, when we do we have gone to Alliance-Peds. Going forward, we will be searching for a new provider. Too bad Dr. Martin isn't taking new patients- he would be outraged with what's happened to us. read more

After going here for a year thinking it would get better it has not. The bed side manner of the nurses is horrible. Instead of trying to talk and calm my daughter down they just threatened to bring in more nurses and hold her down. When it comes to billing they upcharge by coding the visit more....multiple instances of this billing tactic and we are tired of fighting so we will never be back. read more

For those worried about the health and safety of their small infants, beware. While the office is taking some precautions during covid-19, there are gaps in their processes that made my wife and I extremely uncomfortable during our child's check-up. 1) Receptionists are NOT required to wear face coverings. The receptionist's windows and doors are both open to the lobby and back hallways resulting in very little protection for infants coming through the front doors. There are at least 6 receptionists in the office. 2) This is the first medical office we have visited, or heard of, that does NOT require face coverings to be worn by patients (in this case guardians, as children should not be wearing coverings over their face). The manager shared and stated clearly that they cannot expect everyone to have their own covering, and that they cannot supply a mask to everyone who comes in without one. Other pediatricians in the area do require face coverings, and are supplying 'how-to's' for creating face coverings using everyday materials. 3) During the check-up our child came into close contact (less than 6 feet, and in one case as little as 2 feet) of THREE other guardians without face coverings. Being in a confined space with complete strangers during this period in time is, in my eyes, inexplicable. If face-coverings were required, then this situation would have been uncomfortable, but understandable. My expectation of medical facilities is to provide safety and well-being above all else. I perceive that the current rules and processes indicate that management is more concerned with cost-savings and fear of losing business if forced to turn away a patient may not want to comply with wearing a face-covering. If you feel similarly, you may want to consider getting an update from the office on their current processes or finding another pediatrician that has them in place. These concerns and feedback have been shared with the manager as of 6/2/2020. I am hopeful that the office will make changes to their rules and processes that support the safety and well-being of ALL their patients. Although not the focus of this post, we do enjoy our visits with Dr. Gronberg, and believe him to be a good pediatrician. Given a different set of circumstances we likely would have continued visiting him for many years. read more

At first, we liked Dr. Martin.and thought he was funny. However, at our child's first illness, he was dismissive and rude. My son was running a fever of 104 with upper respiratory and gi symptoms. Initially he refused antibiotics. Then on the 2nd visit started antibiotics, 2 days later (following 3rd visit and.blood work) he gave him a rocephin.shot. my child continued to have profuse diarrhea and high fevers for another 2 weeks. At 4th visit. I convinced NP to take a stool sample. Staff told me it would take 6 days to get results. Finally, I took my 2 year old to the ER to find that he had cdiff, an infection caused by giving too many antibiotics too quickly. My child lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks (weighed only 30 lbs) yet No One was concerned but me. Dr. Martin was smug, rude and condescending. read more

Edit: I still love dr Martin and Angie but every apt we've had this past year it takes literally an hour past the apt to see either dr. Today's apt I arrived 10min early hoping to get called back sooner or on time. I didn't get called back to the room for 50 min. There was no other patients in the waiting room, only one left while I was waiting, not exactly sure why there's always a super long wait. I'll still continue to come because I love the doctors but absolutely hate the wait times. read more

This place is awful; save your money and time. They claimed they verified insurance before they provided my daughter care and yet I received a bill for 338$. Also nurse argued with me for 30 minutes whether the visit was a sick or well visit. I called three times asking to speak to a manager and a manager never called me back. Every time we needed a refill for my son's medication, we had to wait several days for the prescription to be written. They would never call me back at the number I gave them; they would always call my wife even though I told them she cannot take personal calls during the day and they should call me at the number I had given them. They charged an extra fee to send the scrip to the pharmacy electronically, so I told them I would pick up a hard copy to avoid the extra fee. They sent it electronically anyway and tried to charge me the fee. Two weeks after we complained that their service was poor, we received certified letters saying our children would not be seen there again and we should go somewhere else. We had been going there for about 10 years, complained about their terrible office practices, and got terminated. read more

Friendly doctors, staff doesn't push unnecessary medicines or procedures. The front counter is pretty nice too. As with most pediatric spots- both locations offer a "sick" and "well" entrance, keeping those groups of kids separate. There are plenty of things to see and do while waiting. A large TV looping a new Disney movie is common, as well as a fish tank full of "Nemo" clown fish. Books, and toys too. Your kid(s) won't be bored while waiting for the doctor. And be prepared to wait. Alliance typically gets us in within 10 minutes of the scheduled time, which is actually pretty good when compared to other experiences. I get confused with the booking and locations. There's an office literally down the street from us (less than 3 minute drive) but for whatever reason the staff continues to book us at the other location, which is a 20 minute drive. Even when we request the Heritage Trace Pkwy location, we get booked at the Timberland spot. A little head scratching. Dr. Robertson is amazing. She's kind with our daughter and talks to her like a real person. She has just as much conversation about her health as she has with us, her parents. All kids receive a token at the end of their visit, which gives them a free trinket at the vending machines on the way out. It's a nice little perk that makes our daughter excited to be there. Every room is themed (dinosaurs, etc.) so that helps keep the kiddos busy while you wait. Overall I would recommend Alliance Pediatrics, it's a nice office with friendly and helpful staff. read more

Not thrilled with the level of care from the office staff here. My wife went to the office yesterday with two kids after picking them up from school and realizing that something was wrong. Granted she did not have an appointment, but with this office being walking distance form our house it made sense to just try and stop by for a look. She was basically told (rudely) to take the kids elsewhere (suggesting Care Now). Another nurse in the office stopped her as she was walking out the door and managed to fit her in, but the initial experience was totally unproffessional. Not only will we take the kids elsewhere, we will be seeking out a new pediatrician ASAP. read more

We absolutely love Alliance Pediatrics and highly recommend Dr. Martin and his staff to anyone looking for a pediatrician. We first came to the practice 3 years ago, after trying two other pediatricians in the area. Dr. Martin now cares for my 4 year old and newborn. He spends time with us every appointment to make sure we are fully informed. I've never felt rushed or left with any question unanswered. He also has a great sense of humor and an incredible way of making my girls feel comfortable. When he is booked, we often see the Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Angie who is equally as great. I also must add, the nurses and office staff are always very friendly and personable. I was worried after leaving our second pediatrician, that we would never find a place that we could trust but after finding Alliance Pediatrics, I have a great peace about the care my children receive! read more

I had high hopes because this place came recommended by a few people but was not impressed. They do not return phone calls and they don't follow through when they say they are going to do something. They were supposed to call me to let me know if we needed to come back for vaccinations- never heard back. Worse is I called and left a message saying my son was sick and had questions about medication, you'd think that would be a priority phone call since I stated he had a fever. Never got a call back. They need to get their act together. The doctor also was not very engaging or helpful. I'd give this place less than one star if I could. read more

Just meh now, after 9 years going here. As the office has expanded, so have the attitudes of the staff. They really need an overhaul on how to speak to parents in a professional manner, especially exhausted parents taking care of sick children. I can no longer recommend this clinic. Prior to our move to East Texas Dr. Robertson was our daughters pediatrician from birth (in the hospital)- 6 months of age. My husband is an ER Physician so finding someone that had similar views and we were comfortable handling our daughters care was super important. She was and is FANTASTIC. We love her no "bs" approach. She does not sugar coat anything but tells you everything like it is. We love this about her. She is very thorough in her patient care. She was excellent with our daughter and made sure to ask and answer any and every question we had. She is very passionate about her patients and that shows in her work. The office staff is also amazing. They are polite and always greeted us with a smile. Their passion and love for children is evident. While still living in the metroplex we willing drove 45 minutes for all of our visits. We highly recommend this office. read more

Dr. Gronberg is amazing! I am so happy to have found this pediatrics office for my 3 children. Both pediatricians are amazing doctors. Both times my daughter haa been very sick I have gotten calls the next day asking about her well being. The nurses and staff all very sweet and cordial. There has been ive has a hard time getting through on the phone but other then that it's an amazing and Beautifully decorated for children. read more

As nice as the staff up front seems I agree with another person that said it takes forever to go to the back. What's the point of having an appointment if they don't see you for a hour and a half after the time provided. I have always disliked siting around having my time wasted when you can literally hear the doctors drinking coffee laughing it up in the hallway. After seeing Dr. Gronberg last week it was a wait..then wait...we got to the back waited some more Doctor showed up and a hour and a half later 5 minutes with him bam let's see you again this week for another visit of wasting your time. read more

We are moving to the area and we were doing a house hunting trip. We planned to visit their office on Heritage Trace to meet Dr Kline for future appointments. Our daughter got sick while we were in town and we were able to get her in the same day. The office is amazing. They have a sick patient entrance, waiting room, and exam rooms so there is no cross contamination. The staff was amazing, Ms Stephanie at the front desk was very happy and very kind to us and our daughter. Dr Kline was incredible. She didn't make us feel like we were rushed and our daughter loved her. We were recommended to Alliance Pediatrics and we were blown away. We highly recommend them if you are looking for someone who will make you feel welcomed and not rushed out the door. read more

Not sure if she was having a horrible day but her manner was unprofessional. She needs some re training on her professionalism. If not I would have to seek elsewhere for my children. This place is horrible. The doctors don't look at your history charts before you come in to see them. The doctor I saw which was not our normal doctor was rude. Obviously she did not read any of my kids medical history and on the spot full on asked me to summarize everything for her when it's suppose to be her job to already know all of my twins medical history. And they just turned 3 years old so it's not that far Back she had to look at their history. I believe the doctors name is Dr. Robertson? Well doctor Robertson, is You treat military personals and their families like that I'll be most def look for another pediatrician. Also, my twins main doctor is dr Katherine Klein, since we moved to Texas last year, we only saw dr Klein once of all the doctors visits we did. And we did at least 5 doctor visits. Terrible after hours care. I was diagnosed with flu on Friday and my kids started showing symptoms Sat morning. I called for a tamiflu prescription and they told me that they couldn't call it in because he hasn't been seen (sick) since November. Also, wouldn't prescribe it because he wasn't running fever yet, telling me he would need to be seen but they were closed. Not helpful at all, considering he's been exposed and is within the time frame for tamiflu to work. I had been considering leaving this practice for a while after many issues but this sealed the deal. Find better care for your kids. read more

Dr. Martin and his staff are exceptional! I especially love that Dr. Martin began telling my daughter at days old that she should avoid boys. My thoughts exactly! After trying a highly recommended pediatrician for my infant son, we were less than pleased with the level of care, so I decided to switch to Dr. Martin, or well...TRY to. He came highly recommended by several friends/neighbors and so I inquired about becoming a patient. We were told, sorry he's not taking new patients UNLESS your child has siblings that are patients OR he took care of your son as a newborn. My stepchildren are patients and I let them know this. The office manager Misty, proceeded to discourage me, telling me that 1. wait times would be awful, he's so booked and busy and 2. informed me that "well, your stepchildren have only been here once, and they aren't even brought in for annual exams"...so they don't get sick much, how is that relevant here? Nor is that under my control! So she said she'd check with Dr. Martin and see if we could be brought in as a patient. I received this email from her this morning. Had we received recommendations of Dr. Martin at the time of selecting a Ped, we'd have gone there, but our current Dr was recommended time and time again, so in an effort to do what was best for my son, who was a high risk pregnancy and after having multiple losses myself, AND being new to Keller...I just went with that person. NOW, after being in Keller longer, meeting new people, Dr. Martin was recommended and I really wanted to be a patient of his, and it made sense logistically too since our other children are patients. (we share custody). Really unfortunate as I had thought over the weekend I might try out another Dr in his practice but now, I will take my business elsewhere. We are new to the area, my child went for a well check up. The office staff was OK, there was one woman that was very helpful and a gentleman who was not. Dr. Robertson, felt like an interrogation-- never had that kind of experience. She almost talked down to you. My child has always had a sensitivity to cows milk (makes her constipated and bloated ) she was adamant about getting her back on cows milk and even suggested soy milk ( my daughter is normal on all the growth charts comes in around 50-60 % on all growth charts) as her other pediatricians have said they could not recommend soy milk as a healthy alternative for my child. This was just not the place for us. Will be going to another pediatrician office for my other kids. read more
