I came here on a Saturday, a little later than we had planned, but just in time to snag the last of the white chocolate almond croissants with cardamom. Seriously, that single item was worth the entire trip, but add to that the chili and goat cheese danish and you're at a whole other level. I think after this visit I'll have to make a weekly pilgrimage to this lovely bakery. Everyone was so sweet and kind and enjoyed what they were doing. I took it back and politely asked them to change it. They denied that there was syrup in there - basically accusing me of lying. I asked for a refund. What a predicament tis that I must choose one or two. Walking by we couldn't help but notice the window display. So many tasty treats to tempt the eye and stomach of each and every street goer. We decided to purchase a few items. It is hard to remember the items that we purchased. We took our take away and continued to tour Greenwich and other stops before making it back to our hostel. Upon our arrival our desserts did not appear as when we left due to the jostling along the way. But, the treats were still tasty and delectable. They hit the spot. Thanks so much to the employees who helped us make our choices. They were kind and knowledgeable. Everyone here was overwhelmingly friendly!!
