these guys are ruthless in the outbound tele world! they dialed my number and let it ring on and on until I pick up. Then they hang up. I call the number back and the agent who answers my call, immediately knows my name dob soc etc . Then they try to lure me into lying about my coverage status giving me three chances to correct my answer. flagrantly asking for my word on a recorded line to say I'm covered falls under fraud I believe. Once my answer is repeated a third time that I have no health insurance. The agent bluntly hangs up on me. This company provides services for various insurance companies, and one of the agents behaved very unprofessionally with our vehicle situation as both policy holders should be consulted for changes to each vehicle PRIOR to making changes. I received no emails or voicemails from the Allied agent and several changes were made to my policy as a result that can negatively impact me and my son. Many people may relate with the difficulties in separating assets from a spouse and may understand the need to have an insurance agent that is well-trained to deal with more than one person on the policy. The last thing you want is for some neglectful agent to cancel a part of your coverage or make changes that can compromise your interests and safety. This agent on Allied went above and beyond that level of unprofessional conduct after I called to resolve the situation related to changes requested by the co-owner of our insurance policy without my knowledge/approval (until I received new insurance cards in the mail). This man had the nerve to bad mouth me and tell my stranged spouse that "he felt bad" for him and that I was crazy, etc. It is unacceptable to make comments on a customer's personal life situation. Aside from this incident, the customer service overall is horrible. I selected a policy with Erie for car and renter's insurance, and the agent at Allied Partners is the first point of contact for any claims or changes to the policy. I do not recommend this. It is very difficult to process a claim or communicate about a claim unless you deal with the big company directly, and at least Erie sends you back to the agent. It is worth spending more money for better customer relations. STAY AWAY! read more
