I had the lovely time dealing with a person that it was so unprofessional at my work place " Airplane company " I explained to this person that I did not do what he said. He calls his supervisor. The supervisor came out and comes over to talk to me. The original person comes over to us and gets into an argument with the supervisor. She tells him to go back to his car.....He goes back to his car and then he moves back to my passenger side window and starts to inspect the inside my vehicle. I then ask the supervisor what he is doing. She goes over to him and tells him again to move back to his car again. I have to say this was so crazy to watch! They give these people badges and no training. I just wonder how many other people have watched this company do business like this for security. read more

Don't work here if you plan on receiving a FULL paycheck. If you work overtime, they will drop it to eight hours and pay you for 40 hours or less. You contact your supervisor and they will either tell you payroll screwed up or the supervisor will say they did their job in submitting it. Contact HR, and HR will tell you it's not their job in getting your pay. There is a reason why Allied Universal Security has law suits regarding pay roll all the time and they lose accounts quite often. read more

zero starts .! the guard at the Kahului Airport ( OGG) was not only rude but he harassed me and my family while we were there picking up other members of our family .! I had two young children in my car and he literally followed us toll we stopped and that's when he pretty much verbally attacked me .! What a disgrace as a guard .! When hired Didn't send fingerprints to right people so had to wait almost 7 months to get guard card 2. They'll switch insurance and not tell you, I went without medical for a year. Great job and atmosphere, those that work hard and want to succeed will find it here. AUS has great benefits and the team environment that many others do not. Very proud to do my job, what we do actually is noticed and makes our clients day to day operations run smoothly. They support all Reserve (Military and Fire Service) etc. Along with school, they do the best they can to help you succeed and chase what your after. BUT you have to as well be flexible and work with dedication and pride. Communication is KEY. Not only in the security field let alone life. I would like to see the AUS team open the door to (Track Programs) so that people and team members that want to move up, have the opportunity to do so. They're the absolute worst! At Emerald City Comic Con 2024 in Seattle, WA (I attended two days), the two security officers falsely accused me of harassing congoers based on hearsay without providing any factual basis. On Day 2 of the convention, the same two security officers again accused me of the same activity as before, only this time they even demanded to see my phone for any suspicious activity, once again without any factual basis or support. Even when they couldn't find what they were looking for, they still continued to verbally attack me, even refusing to hear my side of the story and also threatening to revoke my convention badge for something I never did! Good concept, nice pay, poor leadership. My time with them has been an experience alright... A month ago I was given a phone interview for (and got) a position. In that interview I was told I would be working 3-11pm weekly and maybe a Saturday on occasion. Thanksgiving and Christmas off. I get to their facility near me where they needed birth certificate, social security card, and ID. A week later I need to drive two hours to "orientation" where the instructor himself is two hours late to this overheated and very crowded room. They need my credentials again. Few days later, I go get my picture taken for a badge (that I just got after a month). They need credentials AGAIN. Just now got uniforms over a month later. Turns out my "supervisor" has had them for multiple weeks. But didn't give them to me from pure neglect. And so far, every day I remind them that because of my extremely rare brain disorder, I can't work overnights. So they schedule me to work 12 hours 300-1500 or 1500 to 300. Their excuse being "well it's not technically over night" I DRIVE AN HOUR TO GET HERE. As if wanting me to have dire medical consequences. Seizures, memory loss, bodily impairment, and or loss of time itself. (like Non-24) This company has literally the worst people I've ever worked for. My "supervisor" calls in fake sick at least once a week and calls me to cover for her, or else I'm fired. read more

There are better security companies out there, for both clients and employees. My experiences with Allied have told me that they are unprofessional, disorganized, and frankly undeserving of the business they receive. Scheduling for employees is a nightmare, and it can take weeks for a simple pay dispute to be dissolved. I've not seen or heard of instances of harassment like other reviews on here, but that sounds about right. It is a company that doesn't care about the well-being of its clients or its employees, and if you are employed by them, my advice is to look for other avenues of employment as soon as possible. read more

Today there was an Open Interview event in this office. Knowing the professional/casual dress standards for open interviews, I went in early in the afternoon to meet with a recruiter for an interview. The lady at the front desk did not greet me and asked how she could help with a straight face. I did not get her name but she was training someone today. She was blonde and was dressed casual. I informed I was there for the open interviews. She asked if I was dressed professionally. I had a blazer with jeans; This is a business casual wear, especially appropriate for a quick open interview. The front desk lady told me I could not go in and insisted I come back next week. She did not smile nor try to help by giving me other solutions. She was bland and did not show proper customer service to help me out as soon as possible. I asked almost 20 questions to see what we could do because she said no one could go in if they were not dressed professionally. Allied Universal has a poorly mannered receptionist declining work opportunities to many people. I have worked with Allied Universal for 5 years and this office by far has to be the worst performing service I have ever received. There was no indication she could figure something out, she did not care to show she could even try to help, she was poorly mannered and did not seem to care for anyone even myself. She is the worst person to represent Allied Universal because this company has now lost my business. With this review i'm sure there are many others who would agree. read more

The company doesn't care about their employees, and absolutely take advantage of them in any way they can. There are a couple good Account Managers out there, but good luck being assigned to them. The security guards are terrible I have been harassed over and over by them at various gates at a corporate company. I've had to change where I drive I had to change the gates I go into just to avoid some of their security folks. read more
