Very easy airport to navigate through, especially if you've just come from CDG, which can be a…read morenightmare to navigate if you're not used to it. We were able to get off our flight and make it to the clearly marked Uber pick-up almost immediately. This was really convenient for us as we had to be somewhere a few hours after landing. We noticed quite a few shopping and food options available in the arrivals section so I'm assuming there are a lot to choose from in departures. The airport is quite a bit away from Lyon city center but our Uber ride on a Monday at about 2pm was only 50 euro. You can also certainly make it to the city by tram much cheaper.

These are some racist people. My wife and I boarded this plane for the first time. We had our bags…read morealready in the cabin and were just waiting for takeoff. We were the only asian people in the whole plane and 1 of the cabin crew just comes straight over to us and goes up top and takes our bags out. He says that there is no more room for bags so we have to put our bags under our seats. I look around the cabin and we were the only 2 people that had to hold our bags. In this day in age this should not be allowed. Please report any staff you see in the future.
