Everything with this office had been pretty good regarding my auto/homeowners policy up until two…read moremonths ago when our auto policy increased by $38 dollars per month. When I called to figure out why the increase had occurred, I was given a generic response of, "sorry, we forgot to tell you, and it was due to a nationwide increase overall." They claimed that all insurance companies were going to experience similar rate increases and my only option to lower my monthly rate would be to decrease my coverage limits. I obtained a new policy with better coverage at a lower rate with no issues. Aside from a lack of communication and poor explanation practices, this isn't a bad insurance agent but remember to pay attention to your auto payment amounts.

This agency has locked us in with an insurance JUST THE OPPOSITE of what I had asked for. I had provided the agent with a book from UPMC that explained all the details of the insurance that we had. I had advised the Griffin agent to make sure we will have all provided by previous insurance. There should not be a difference unless was an extra benefit, but nothing less. Now with previous insurance we could choose any provider. With this insurance any service weather dental, medical, does not accept this insurance and want us to pay fully out of pocket. I contacted Griffin, did not even show remorse, sympathy or a sorry, said: there is nothing to do but wait for next year!! He has made the mistake and refuse to find a way!
