Such a terrible experience, an all time low for State Farm and this agent…read more I have been trying to cancel a life insurance policy for over 8 months. first was told it could be do with electronic signatures, that didn't work. And was wrong information being given to me by Susan McVeys office. Later I received paperwork from agent, was told I needed a signature on copy to be sent, went to an agent in CO, I signed in front of them, they faxed it in, then received a letter saying I needed an agent signature, other office in CO would not do this, tried many times in between to get ahold of someone at State Farm corporate (that's almost impossible). Finally have gotten ahold of someone at main State Farm office, that was another huge waste of time. Even though I explained I was a customer for 25+ yrs, they claim my signature is not correct. I explained my phone number (from 25+ yrs) was the same when I had an auto, home and life insurance with them. Susan McVey the agent in MO's solution was to come to MO so I could sign it in front of her. Think that comment was to be an a**hole. Having an agent in one state and you in an other is ridiculous, tough and imppossible to get anything done. No one wants to transfer it either as I have learned goes against their "book" I was a customer for 25+ yrs w State Farm and have NEVER a been treated so poorly and I will NEVER come back. There's more to this story also that I do not feel like writing an entire book. Hope this helps someone because, State Farm wants your money but when they have to surrender theirs they make it almost impossible to get it done

Their electronic payments suck. They don't always post on the day you decide to make your payments,…read moretypically happens a few days before. Also the suck with getting their paperwork together. Guy out my VIN number on my cards wrong and forgot to make me sign the reoccurring electronic payments which come my payment time, I get a "late payment" slip in the mail just because of this and had to be late for work one day to fit in time to go and sign the damn paper.
