I'm leaving this review to bring attention to a serious safety hazard. The parking lot for the Allstate office next to the NC Tag Office in Kannapolis has multiple deep potholes. They're large enough to damage a car's tires or suspension, and they're a tripping hazard for anyone walking through. I hope management or the property owner addresses this quickly, because it's not just inconvenient--it's dangerous. Customers and visitors deserve a safe place to park. read more

BEWARE OF THESE CROOKS! They're for themselves, NOT YOU. Once you sign an ins contract with them, don't dare shop for another company. These losers will charge you for breaking the contract with them. Other agencies do not do this. They are a dirty business to deal with. read more

I must say, this is by far the worst experience I've ever experienced with car insurance in NC. MY premium went from $289 to $593 and the explanation I received from the rude representative/customer service person was, the increase was due to INFLATION. Apparently, she wasn't trained and well informed. I added a Limited Learners Permit driver to my policy on 5/17, then once it was determined that, the said driver was headed to college and couldn't have a car on campus as a freshman, I removed the driver 5/28. The agency took the liberty to make that change on 6/25, however, I didn't renew my policy with this scandalous agency. And now, I'm being coerced to pay $193, however, the said charge isn't correct. Well, this one will end up on my credit. But luckily, the FCRA will ultimately reverse that said action. It's just disheartening for a company to swindle money from customers. I would say buyer beware. U professional but savy criminals at its best. If I could give (0) stars or a negative star, I would. read more

They have always been very helpful and kind whenever they or I have called. They were able to get all of my insurance needs met the same day and super quickly! Very convenient to be able to do business with them remotely as well. This is the best Allstate agent and staff that I have worked with yet! So on the advice of a family member, we did business with Lori Crisp, who is the co-owner of this agency. Lori is hard to contact and doesn't return phone calls in time. For three years this pattern continued, until finally it almost cost me my refinance agreement due to her lax attention to detail. I moved my car insurance to another agency, and because of this, my HOMEOWNER policy (separate) was cancelled by Allied/Alliant insurance because of 'no longer doing business with agent'. What a joke.

Alavarado. Located in the center of the city it is a perfect location for anyone that works downtown. I've been using Allstate over 15 years or so as Allstate has insured every one of my houses, rental properties, mutliple cars, motocycles, rental insurance, etc.). He was very personable and accomodating getting my insurance needs in place making a less than stellar event quite painless so I thank him for that effort. So all insurance is alike? Pretty much so.......so what makes them different...........the Agent..........trust me and Mr Alavarado is someone you should consider when considering insurance in the Queen city.

He Insures all of our vehicles/property as well as our children's vehicles. His staff is prompt and knowledgeable. I can't imagine using ANYONE else for our insurance needs. I have even needed to call JC's cell phone on the weekend for an emergency and he answered and helped answer my questions. No other insurance company I have had in the past works to make sure our cars/property are properly covered and saves us money in the process. If you want to have amazing customer service and coverage at great prices then look no more!!!

I have heard that Allstate is expensive but I have had other companies give me a quote and they were all close to what I currently pay. When I had to use Allstate to replace my roof after hail damage, Allstate was so easy to work with. ( I have both my auto and home with them) I had an agent that I didnt like but was to lazy to change. Allstate dropped her and transfered my policy to David Cash. I have never met or spoke with David directly but his staff is great. I get updates when payments are due & made and when my credit card on file is about to expire. Since my policy had been transfered, they never reviewed it with me until it recently renewed. As they reviewed my policy they noticed changes and recommended them to me. They werent pushy trying to sell me but made sure I was appropriately covered. It's been great having my policy with them.

In all this time, I have only needed to use my insurance services twice. Most recently, I had to pay $10,000 out of pocket to repair structural damage in my kitchen, despite having $21,000 a year in structural damage coverage clearly listed on my policy. I am deeply disappointed that my claim was denied. I have also spoken with others who have had similar experiences. After my first claim, State Farm increased my deductible, and now my coverage is not being honored as described in my policy documents. I can no longer recommend State Farm to anyone.
