Again, March 9 an email was sent. March 26th I hired a new broker and took care of my business. Cancellation left my houses not covered for the 31st of March - no one would provide any proof of coverage for that day. I had to call Safeco to get it. Owner advised clerk did nothing wrong??? Not True! No exception was made to take over my accounts. Prior broker did the same, no response, no answers, terminated. Our communication has always been via email. I called you when the date of cancellation left my homes not covered for 24 hours and I could not get proof that Safeco had them covered. Email from Steven not sufficient, it needed to be Safeco...I asked Steven if I have a problem (no coverage March 31) if he was going to be responsible for the damages, of course not! Safeco provided a screen shot, that was all Steven had to do, but did not. Never received any email from him. He simply defended the neglect from his clerk (March 2 and March 9) and did not care what I had to say. PROOF IS IN THE EMAILS!

Completely incompetent!! Rarely in my 35+ years of dealing with insurers have I encountered such…read morebuffoons! It's rather unbelievable. Ryan Cunningham at this office is in charge of my homeowner's account and for the last two months has somehow found it impossible to charge either my checking account, or my credit card. I keep getting statements saying that the charge was denied. The checking account has over $10,000 in it and the credit card has a $50,000 credit line so that's a bunch of garbage. The kicker is, I spent HOURS last month trying to get this worked out with Ryan... He claimed it was fixed and that he was now charging my credit card for the premium. GUESS WHAT I OPENED IN MY MAIL TODAY? Another "failed payment" notice and a $20 fee. Checked my bank account, there is WELL over the balance needed to pay my premium. Checked my credit card, same story! These people. UNBELIEVABLE! And, I am going in for surgery next week and this is the last thing I need! Absolutely insane that a company cannot accept payment from me, especially for something so crucial as a homeowner's policy. The incompetence is staggering. A company like Allstate, which has a national reputation, should really be able to do better. If I were Allstate I would revoke both Mr. Cunningham's license and Mr. Pathak's as well since he cannot seem to manage his employees. A complete joke!
