Battery service. The fact that they will come to you when you have a dead battery is great. Maybe…read moreyou don't have the ability to jump it or in my case, maybe it doesn't seem to be taking a charge. The bad: it seems that many of their batteries are junk and they make you jump through hoops to replace the crappy battery they give you. I had mine for less than 6 months before bringing my car in for an inspection. The garage checked my battery and found that it was basically trash and even gave me the readout from their tester saying as much. Called AAA for a replacement and while the girl on the phone was nice, she was being very cagey about replacing the battery. After asking her directly a couple times about whether they would replace it, she said very unsurely, "uh, the driver should be able to do that for you". I asked her if the drivers had the power to make that call and she said they could "or would figure something out", which also didn't really make much sense. Driver gets there, gets the car charged up and says that he can't do a diagnostic test on the battery because it's currently too low a charge. While that may be true, if you are calling AAA because your car is dead again, because the battery they provided is shit, guess what... your car is always going to be too dead to read. I showed him the diagnostic test from my garage and he says it has to be from a "AAA approved garage". Google their battery service and you'll find a lot of people that feel equally scammed by this process. If you get a good battery from them, then you're probably all set and they came to you, solving you the hassle of getting jumped and going to get a new battery. If you get a junk AAA battery, which seems to often be the case, it might start convenient but will then be anything but. As for me, while I still have AAA and their crappy battery, I'm going to jump it again, bring it to somewhere with decent batteries, shell out for a whole new one that will hopefully last for more than 6 months. For a company that used to claim to bend over backwards for their members, their battery service can turn into a major hassle and waste of money.

The so called agent not worthy of his job is James Edward's. Maybe his boss should review his LACKING performance! My name is Bob Spenlinhauer and my email is: bobjspen@aol.com for verification. Unum - Had to get a surgery done was absolutely terrible. I could see it being the reason why I don't retire here at Amway.

Very poor all the way,if I could give a minus score I would there is appsultly nothing right or…read moregood about this company at all.I give a minus 5 plus appsultly nothing professional about this company I wish the company I work for would find a company that at least has good customer service department at UNUM long term disability department they work harder at denying your claim than helping you in any way there is no good rating what so ever, I can give them. I pray you never have to deal with them they are not there for you by any means. That would take money from their company "just think about it they don't want to pay for your disability because it takes money out of their pockets.no one in this company cares for your disability.the management made it where the call center first responder could no longer give out any information on your account even to confirm that documents had been received???

I first filed a claim with this company back in February. It is now May and they have closed out…read morethe claim a number of times and a week later I get my mail stating I need paperwork by a certain date or they will close my case which they closed a week prior to me receiving the paperwork they want. When trying to call them I never am able to speak to someone and no matter what time of the day it is they will call me back tomorrow. I have NEVER received a call back. Every time I call the person I speak to does not know what is holding up the claim and my doctor has faxed over the information that they request at least 5 different times. Now my claim is under review by someone that has no medical back ground. Who are they to review my case and go against what the doctors are recommending? This is the poorest run company that heaven forbid the employees have to talk to someone. At this point I would rather kill myself than deal with these people anymore. I am giving a 1 star review because I have no choice it is the lowest star I can give
