Dr. Azar has been my dentist since 1988…read more I shouldn't need to say anymore than that ... but since it's a Yelp review ... The office staff has always been friendly and professional. They are on time with their reminders and chase down the insurance companies for you. I have never had to wait more than five minutes when I have an appointment. The waiting room has clean leather seats and lots of reading materials. The hygienists are thorough and attentive. Exam rooms are always clean. No one has ever had an attitude. Great goody bags. I moved two states away but still drive back to see Dr. Azar. If you had a dentist like him, you would too.

A crown was done and it looks unnatural. She talks WAY too much and boasts of how great she is. Last filling I had she said, "this is going to break anyway". She claims all my dental issues are from grinding my teeth, even though I have a retainer at night. She is friendly but too much. I only continued because she is in network but I will have to pay out of pocket because I won't go back. There is a huge turnover as far as employees/hygentists which is not a good sign.

Avoid her like the PLAGUE she is! Because of her lack of professionalism, ineptitude, and ignorant demeanor, critical milestones in my relative's dental care went unnoticed, worsening their condition and delaying appropriate corrective action. DR. GUPTA IS TO BLAME here, not only for her malpractice and failure to identify these critical issues/emergencies early enough to correct them, but also for allowing her UNEDUCATED office staff to be abusive to patients, hanging up on them, missing insurance submission deadlines, delaying paperwork, and further contributing to this NEGATIVE and UNACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE. Despite ongoing COMPLAINTS and direct COMMUNICATION, DR. GUPTA took no disciplinary actions against her TRASHY staff or offered corrective measures for her professional oversights/malpractice, which has left us with no possible alternatives to address our concerns other than to report her negligence and this entire circus situation to the Connecticut State Dental Commission. We received confirmation today that an investigation is underway. AVOID THIS PLACE!! -- THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS, NOR DO THEY TREAT THEM RESPECTFULLY.

LOCATION - can be a little tricky if you are not familiar with commerce park off of Main Street. COVID - they have hand sanitizer and require masks which is a good thing. DENTISTRY - they have great new technology and are very thorough with exams. I had a crown done that went flawlessly. The cleaning services for your teeth are well done with gum measurements included. Dr M - is very friendly and great to work with.
