I ordered a floral arrangement by phone on Saturday to be delivered to Mom's house for her birthday 2 days later. Dakota was so helpful and made the process very easy - even confirming delivery by texting me a photo of the very thrilled birthday girl holding her beautiful arrangement. *UDATE* Once again!...had a truly awesome experience recently when I used Allure Florist. I called at the last minute to have a small arrangement delivered to my Mom on her birthday. Doug went above and beyond to make sure the flowers were exactly what I asked for. He hand delivered them in record time and even filled out the card with our names and sentiment( I had forgotten!) and they also came with a complimentary box of candy! They are still beautiful almost two whole weeks later and have outlasted "5" other arrangements my Mom received that day! She's really enjoying them. Received a beautiful poinsettia gift from Allure on 12/10 adorned very nicely with fresh greens..before a week was over, the flowers and leaves were curling. By day 10, it was nearly completely dead so I called the store. I was given every excuse in what almost seemed rehearsed, too much water, not enough water,too much sun, not enough sun, and then the old, "we can't be responsible for conditions." My wife has kept some 2 dozen orchids of many varieties for years, so I believe she knows a thing or two about house plants including the 6 holiday amaryllis she started from bulbs this year. When I decided to write a review, I noted the owners Prior response to another Customer complaint and was really incensed when I saw the pet store analogy which is one Of the lines he used with me! We've had many poinsettias in the past from florists (and Home Depot) and had them last into February And beyond.. I wouldn't order poison ivy from these guys in the future as they probably have an excuse as to why it shouldn't itch! read more

Allure Bridal is a "hidden treasure" in Stamford. It takes a bit of an effort to find but it is well worth your time. The selection is wonderful and and the prices can not be beat. Having Rick who is an "angel" right there to do all of the alterations is one of the best benefits. He is so conscientious in his work and detail. I found a mother of the bride dress and my daughters rehearsal dinner dress. We had to make some alterations on my daughters and it turned out magnificent. From the hemming fabric we got a sheer shawl to wear as a cover up. Then, if you need flowers Doug is there. Its a " home run". Before you purchase elsewhere, check them out. read more

Flowers never arrived as of almost 7:00 pm so my husband finally called to see what happened. They said they had trouble finding our home even though my husband spelled the name of our street twice for them they still put the wrong address in their GPS. After arriving after 7 pm. The the 3 dozen beautiful roses were lovely but wilted on the 3rd day. It was a holiday weekend and we were busy, and i didn't know if they were even open, so I called on the fifth day to tell them they had wilted and never opened. He said he would return my call after finishing up with a customer and he never did. After almost 2 hours I decided to call back. The man on the phone was combative and said I should have called sooner but now he couldn't do much. I explained to him that we were busy over the holiday weekend and he accused me of not taking care of the flowers, he argued over and over with me blaming and accusing me of not taking care of them which of course I did. I wouldn't let the $300 my husband spent go to waste! He said he could deliver 1 dozen new roses but not the 3 dozen my husband had purchased and paid top dollar for. I would never deal with this place again! Quick to take your order and your money but not to replace a bad product. A good reputable business would simply apologize and deliver you a fresh arrangement as ordered, not argue and offer you 1/3 of what you paid for! read more
