I've been getting lash extensions for 9 years. I recently got a full set here. A week later, I had many painful lashes which is not normal. I removed some and saw they were glued to two of my natural lashes instead of one which caused pain. I brought this up and was given an extensive list of things I could've done to cause this: exercise, makeup, sleeping, sensitive eyes, fast hair growth, etc. In 9 years I've never experienced this. I spoke with multiple lash techs who confirmed I couldn't alter the glue after it cured and this was caused by poor isolation by the tech. I had to remove my new set after 11 days due to pain which the tech did not assist with nor was concerned about. I was told I couldn't get any refund, which was very disappointing since I was talked into getting a more expensive set than what I booked for. There were over 10 lashes glued to multiple natural lashes which caused damage, resulting in bald spots. Really unacceptable, a full set should last much longer than 11 days and with proper application shouldn't damage your natural lashes. I don't recommend. read more

I have been going to Pam for almost a year now for my lashes and regular facials. I truly have nothing but good things to say about her and her work! She's beyond incredible at what she does and so attentive to her clients. I'll start with lashes. I have had lashes before by another esthetician and due to my sensitive eyes I had multiple cases of irritation from the lashes/glue and once or twice it even turned into a minor eye infection. The lashes were placed so close to my eye that they would poke my skin which could become quite painful and irritating. I had a really bizarre experience here, and I don't recommend this place in the slightest. Let me preface by saying I've gotten my lashes done for 5 years and counting and used 5+ salons over the years. I know lashes! She refused to do my lashes based on what I wanted, and she was out of stock of other close options. If you don't want to spend time reading this whole review, let me mention 2 things you should know before booking: 1. they don't offer sensitive glue. Yes, it doesn't last as long but every salon I've been to has had the option. Not this place. 2. She doesn't carry any lengths longer than 12 and was out of several curls and didn't even know what some curls were. Not a good sign. She uses what she wants so if you have an opinion, don't go here. So here's what happened- I booked weeks in advance, my husband left work early to watch our son, and I drove 30 minutes to get my first set of postpartum lashes!!!! This was my first pampering experience in over a year, and I left upset and lash-less. I ask for a 14 D, which I told her is what I had previously gotten for 5 years. She asks for a photo. I show a previous picture, and she insults me by saying they didn't look good. You are welcome to scroll through my pics and see some of my lashes in the past. It's nothing crazy!! So I get everyone has an esthetic and I like a little dramatic, but don't insult your client!!! Also, if that's what your client wants, shouldn't you do that or something close? She goes through a whole thing about how heavy they are and she doesn't like a spider look and yada yada yada and I explain that I got lashes for 5 years, I know the drill, I don't wear eye makeup....it's fine bc I don't lose a ton of lashes etc. And that I like long curly lashes. She then goes on to say she doesn't even offer longer than 12 and she needs to see my lashes to even see if she will do that. Continues to say how fine my lashes are and they will be heavy and again, I say it's fine bc I like that. It gets to the point where I just say the 12 is preferred but do what what you are comfortable with, and I will go somewhere else in the future if I'm not happy. Then she says that's not ok bc another place won't do a refill on her work, which I'm aware and I say that I can have them removed if I'm not happy.... wtf is going on here??? Then I finally just say "you're really acting like you don't want to do them so if not then just say so," and she explains that she just wants me to be happy. I say "I understand. I get they may not be as long as I would like, and if I'm not happy then I will go somewhere else in the future." I saw pics on yelp that looked good so I didn't think it was crazy to trust her judgement. I'm like "go for it." Again, not a huge deal for me to go somewhere else if I want longer in the future. Right? Simple enough. Next she says, "I don't think I have D's in a 12." So we went through all of that when she didn't even carry them. I ask to see C's. She gets out the lashes and says "no I won't do them. You won't be happy....and I don't even know what these other lashes are bc the manufacturer didn't label them." So I get up to leave and ask "you aren't charging me, right," on the way out to which she assures me "no." I appreciate her not wanting me to waste the money if I'm not going to be happy but 1) I said it was fine - that I didn't mind spending the money but that I just wanted them done; and 2) she said she does the lash size and curl based on the clients lashes...what if someone came in with already long lashes and needed a 12 D or longer?? So she wasn't stocked or prepared at all to meet everyone's needs. Not ok. Mention this when booking before I wait for an appt for weeks. I could have booked somewhere else. I'm super upset about this experience. What a waste. read more

I started going to see Pam about 2 months ago for eye lash extensions on a recommendation my co-worker had given me. Her lashes always look amazing so I went to Pam for a dramatic full look. I've gone to see her 3 times now and she always does a fantastic job. Her studio is very clean and comfortable. Her style is very gentle and relaxing. Her products are quality and my lashes stay full and look great for about 3 weeks. They would probably last longer but I like to get them filled before they start to look too natural. She also gave me a quick temple/forehead massage that felt great after finishing my lashes. I recently had a gel manicure done by her as well and it's lasted about 3 weeks now without chipping. She offers several other services that are all reasonably priced such as pedicures and facials that I can't wait to try. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had in the beauty industry. I usually do not write Yelp reviews but I felt compelled to do so for this awful situation. I've been getting my eyelashes done for a while now and this was the first time I want to see Pamela she is closer to where I live. When my eyelashes were put on they looked beautiful but only a few hours later my eyes became red, swollen, goopy and irritated. I contacted Pamela shortly after and she told me not to go to the doctor she said to come to her house so she may look at them and then she would have to remove them, after she removed them she said she was sorry and said she would give me 50 off next time. ARE YOU SERIOS??? I was lost for words first of all why would I come back if I had a reaction like this second most good businesses will give you your full refund when situations like this happen because they are so messed up a good business would bite the bullet and just give the money back I had to miss two days of work because my eyes were too swollen and I had trouble seeing one morning when I woke up. I lost that money on top of the money that I gave to Pamela when I tried to get my money back from Pamela she only wanted to give me a small amount of my money back I had to haggle with her for the amount this whole thing was a nightmare and I was amazed on how Pamela treated me as a customer a few days later I noticed that there was glue on my eyelids I took a tweezer to pick it off and my eyes became all irritated over again when I went to the doctor they told me I should have came and sooner they prescribed me antibiotics and medicated eye drops Pamela had told me not to go to the doctor! bad advice she did not seem concerned whatsoever with my health or the danger to my eyes in the end this reflects Pamela as a person even though she might have a good rating on Yelp she treated me terribly. read more

Pam is professional, talented, consistent, and intuitive! She has that "touch" that can make you fall asleep in an instant, (even if you're a ball of stress) and she has a super comfy table and a room that is always warm with zen music. This was my first time getting lash extensions, I usually wear fake eyelashes but I'm going on vacation next week and wanted to look pretty with less makeup! I looked up many places but everything was $150-250 and then I saw this on Yelp, she has an amazing deal for 30-40% off your first time getting extensions (depending on if you get classic or regular) which I only paid $100 for volume lashes!! She works from home and has a really nice comfy set up for where she does her lashes, she's very nice and gentle, I was worried that it was going to be hard laying on a table very still for 1-2 hours but it was too bad and time went by fast. The process didn't hurt at all, just a little stingy with the glue but after 30 min my eyelids felt fine, no puffiness or redness and none of my lashes have fell out yet, my lashes looks amazing!
