The foutas and other linens seemed a bit expensive, but the price was to be be offset by a return…read moreof the VAT (albeit in a convoluted manner going straight to my bank account and not, as normal, back to the credit card). Not! After a month I contacted the store and was told the accountant would have the tax refund to me the following week. Three and four weeks later, no refund, no further response to repeated emails. I would find another store next time.
Update. After more emails and intervention of fine folks at Biarritz Tourisme, refund arrived after twelve weeks. Five stars for Biarritz Tourisme.
