        Established in 1976.

        Unser Familienbetrieb hat sich von der einstigen Landwirtschaft mit Vermietung in über 40 Jahren von einem Dorfcafé und späteren Landgasthof in unseren heutigen musikalischen Gasthof Almenhhof entwickelt. Von 1982 bis 2020 veranstalteten wir den beliebten musikalischen Dämmerschoppen.

        Meet the Business Owner: Andrea W.

        Andrea wuchs als Tocher der Senior-Wirtsleute Johanna und Georg Kleber im Almenhof auf. Nach Ihrer Ausbildung in einem Hotel in Oberstdorf stieg sie in den elterlichen Betrieb mit ein. 1987 heiratete sie Ihren Mann Dieter "Oxar", mit dem sie inzwischen den Familienbetrieb führt. Unterstützung erhalten sie hierbei von Ihren Töchtern Anastasia und Bernadette, sowie von all unseren freundlichen und motivierten Mitarbeitern.

      They serve Augustinsr beer which makes a nice change from the Austrian beers served everywhere…read moreelse. Although on the Happy Valley run it seems to be less frequented by English speaking tourists. Here you'll get the traditional Austrian affair but the food is good and reasonably priced especially compared with the other places on Happy Valley. Service is also better than many other places. The terrace is a lovely place to sit with a viewing looking over At Anton. Be sure to check out the flap on the menu cover for a funny reveal, not menus have the same reveal either.

      Conveniently located steps from the gondola (Nassereinbahn), a small group grabbed a quick meal…read morehere as a late lunch. The place was impeccably clean and is decorated in a smart Alpine style. There's a good sized bar area when you first enter the establishment. We ended up grabbing a table and we were promptly served by a friendly waitress (I think her name was Christina). Her English was excellent and she's got a great sense of humor. While the menu isn't enormous, there's quite a variety of options so everyone should be happy. It also seemed there was enough for vegetarians to be happy. I opted for the Alpenburger, which is a pork burger on a pretzel roll. The burger was quite good. As we left the bar area was starting to fill in, as skiers were starting their apres ski inside. While we didn't visit a second time, it was more about getting some variety in. I'd definitely come back here for lunch on an off-day of skiing or during the day if you're near the base of the gondola.
