Late night happy hour $7
Sharlene D.

4.5 rounded to a 5 star. Definitely great comfort food late at night **NOTE: late night happy hour meals are now updated to $7 not $6 from previous reviews** The service was really quick on a late Friday night for HH. I wish I got her name but the lady taking my order was the sweetest!! The place looked like any fast food place. There was also a door to a karaoke bar which I think it's part of the resturant. It was loud from the seating area unless you open the door. Parking was super easy and abundant in the plaza. I ended up getting the kalua pig 9/10: it was all I could've asked for given it was only $7!! The portion was just enough for me. Not overly salty and the meat was tender and juicy. I loved it. Katsu 7/10: the katsu was breaded nicely and that katsu sauce just brought the dish together. I just wish it also came with some typa veggie on the side. But then again it was only $7 so I shouldn't be complaining lol. The Mac salad was just okay to me 5.5/10. It lacked flavor but adding that pepper did help a bit. I'm not sure if I'd get it again. I did ended up ordering a kalua pig to go so I can eat the next day!! I would def come back for the late night happy hour given the food and service was great!

Crispy Pork Belly

Food was delicious, we came for lunch and ordered the Crispy Pork belly which is made fresh (about a 20 min wait ) ! We also got the chicken Katsu Plate with Macaroni Salad. Very clean and great service!

This is tucked away on S. Maryland Parkway at Windmill. There are plenty of seats if you want to dine in, also on the other side there is a separate bar area which i didn't visit. I walked in here for a simple small dinner. The fried chicken combo they have here is freshly cooked to order and has all the traditional sides like mac salad and rice. the meal also came with Chili, some of the best I've had. $15 filled me up the whole night. It was extremely satisfying.

Wonton Min

Stopped by today for Wonton Min. So nice for a warm morning, but chilly afternoon. Also, took a Furikake Salmon and crab musubi to go. Highly recommend to stop by for a bite.

Stopped by for lunch on my way to the airport and sure glad I did. The restaurant was clean, lots of options to choose from, friendly service and great food. I ordered the Katsu chicken plate with Mac and it was delicious. I'll be back if I'm in the area again. Thank you!

Adobo omelette

All I tried was the pork adobo omelette as my homeboy said is was fire. It is not disappoint! Coming from Waipahu, HI where Elena's and Thelma's was my go to for dat adobo omelette. And for the price, it was a lot of food. Worth to check them out!

Used to come here ALL the time!! But idk recently it just hasn't been matching - the price and the food. Got charged $15 for a loco moco and it's the same size as the late night bites that are usually $7 or less. They used to be know for their cheap eats but bigger portions and now i feel like the cost raised but the quality lowered :( sad about it but i feel like I could get a bigger portion for less elsewhere. Bright side the eggs look so nice!

Great service and very clean inside. The employees are super nice and patient when ordering. We've come here multiple times already and we finally got to try their late night special menu. Everything on their special menu is $6 after 10pm that includes pork adobo, chicken teriyaki, chili, and Kalua pork with cabbage. We ordered the adobo, chili and kalua pork and they were all very good. Lots of flavor! The chili came out really hot as in temperature hot so you know it's fresh! We can't wait to come back and try them all.

Kalua Pig and Cabbage bowl with a personal side of steamed purple yam

Late night bites bowl? 10/10 When you don't want eat that fast food junk and want something delicious & fresh, this is my go to spot after 10pm. 9 times out of 10 I'm always ordering Kalua Pig & Cabbage bowl, sometimes I'll order an pork adobo bowl but I usually have a sweet purple potato (Okinawan/Hawaiian sweet potato, if you really from Hawai'i then you know ‍) perfectly steamed by the time I make it back home to eat. Surprisingly enough, the staff & service is better than a fast food spot that late at night and they're 24 hours. It's just like home, familiar and warm ambiance through and through. Food is always hot & fresh even when it takes me like 8 minutes to get there to pick up my order. I'll never turn my back on Aloha Kitchen, you'll always have a loyal customer in me!

Amazing food, big portions and so many choices. I can never decide between because everything is so good. My go to is either one of their breakfast plates (Portuguese sausage is my fav) or loco moco. If you go with others get the adobo fried rice omelet to share and then another dish. This time I tried the Hawaiian fried chicken and it was delicious. Light, crispy and tasty. The kalbi combo had so much one plate with everything tasting soooo good. I can never not order a spam musubi even if it's to go bit they actually have other musubi too that I didn't even see on the menu until after I ordered. Definitely ordering the next time.

Spam Musubi
Vincent G.

Genuinely enjoy coming here when I'm craving Hawaiian food. The adobo fried rice is solid and a pretty huge portion considering the price. The spam Musubi, however was just ok. The nori doesn't overlap when it's wrapped around, causing the rice to kind of spill out through the seam when you bite into it. Overall the ambiance inside is casual and kept clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Sarrah Jean M.

What's going to the rice ratio?!?! I got myself a chicken barbecue obviously there's a lot of meat and you can tell they only gave you HALF! a cup of rice... it did give me an option if I wanted kimchi or a macaroni they gave me a big bowl of kimchi. Trying to eat was hard cause by the time I got the 6th piece of chicken. I'm already out of rice. And 90% of the chicken was still remaining and all this for $17. that's expensive. Came here because you guys are open til midnight or 1 in the morning an I love coming here to study... but inflation is killing. Everything coming here is too expensive. The service though everybody was very friendly!

Came in here with a hangover and I was hungry and needed something hearty and comforting. One look at the menu and I knew I was in the right place. There were so many items To choose from. I was greeted by a friendly staff member behind the counter who reminded me of my auntie, so I felt at home. The establishment is clean and the vibes are good, and the food is delicious and very familiar, like home cooking . Plenty of seating and spacious so bring some friends. I will be coming back to try the different plates they have but I will get the OxtAil soup again it's so good and comforting and really well prepared, the oxtail was really really tender. Peace.love. You can tell this is family owned and run, with a lot of passion and hard work put into the place. The owner is lovely and brews a mean cup of delicious Kona coffee. They do get busy (was here on a Saturday at 11 am and it was packed) and make stuff to order, so be prepared for Island Time when you dine here. Even the musubi and coffee are made to order. My only quibble was that I paid for a custard filled malasada and since they don't give it to you right then and there if you are dining in with other dishes, they let me know later they actually had run out. But they are that good. Otherwise all the food was delicious and brought my husband and I back to our last vacation there. The live music made the time fly. I recommended this place to my friends immediately. Free and plenty parking in front.

Auntie kept coming by to check in on us. You order at a walk up counter and they bring your food to you. They have a pretty extensive menu, making it hard to choose what to enjoy! We landed on poke nachos and a mochiko chicken/kalbi combo with fried saimin. Be sure to note that ADD fried saimin doesn't mean add. It substituted my rice but it's actually fine cuz who needs all that carbs anyway. The chicken was battered and fried well! The kalbi had a great marinade. The saimin had good flavor. The wontons for the poke were crispy. The fish tasted fresh. Only hope was for more fish and avocado on the nachos. Overall, ono grinds! Go try..

I even noticed small drips on the wall that looked like sauce stains, so yeah...not the kind of spot you come to for ambiance. BUT. The food? Absolutely makes up for it. I saw a steady stream of DoorDash drivers coming in and out the entire time, which already told me this place is popular for a reason and after eating, I get it. The food is really good. Like, seasoned all the way through, flavorful, not dry, not bland everything just hits. The chicken was juicy and tender with that perfect grilled flavor, and the portions are generous. The rice was fluffy, the mac salad was creamy and balanced, and everything together just felt like a solid, satisfying plate. No shortcuts, no watered down flavor, just good food done right. Vegas has a LOT of Hawaiian BBQ spots, but hands down...this is one of the best, if not the best I've had out here. So yeah, don't come here expecting vibes. Come here because you want a plate that's actually worth your money.

Things were still getting together but I have faith they will get back to their normal flow. Food was tasty as always. Had the beef ribs and the kalua pig today. The Kalua pig was a very tasty version. One of the better ones I've had in town for my taste. Not too smoky, felt like it was roasted for a long time. The meat was still intact but tender. Ribs were as they always are. The only thing today, was that the boxes didn't feel as full as they normally do. Only got 4 ribs today and they weren't all that meaty. The pig dish wasn't full to the brim either. Also, prices have gone up from the menu, so seeing higher prices (totally understandable) and less food was a little disappointing. Service was friendly for the most part, but be ready for longer waits. Maybe it was because of the move, but it was a 15-20 min wait today. The ribs are still the best in town, I'm hoping the small portion was just a one off.

At this point I didn't bother asking for another place because they were low staffed and the replacement plate was just gonna come cold again. Another waiter at the register said he can't finish my payment bc my waiter needed to do it, even though it was cash, I told him it was cash and didn't need change. After 5-10 minutes later of just standing at the register because my waiter wasn't coming, he's like OH it's cash I can take it. Frank's macaroni salad wasn't the absolute best I've had, but it was genuinely good--surprisingly better than Zippy's, a true Hawaii staple. The loco moco was excellent: the eggs were perfectly cooked, bright yellow and so delicate they looked like they'd break if you stared at them too long. You get two juicy hamburger patties and two generous scoops of rice, making it easy to stretch into two solid meals. The spam musubi was fresh and still warm (we ordered right at opening at 11 AM and picked it up by 11:30). They added a touch of teriyaki sauce between the rice and spam, which I'm usually not a fan of, but it actually worked really well here. The salty, grilled spam still shone through. The spot itself is a classic Hawaiian BBQ cafe--simple, no-frills, with a mix of sit-down tables and to-go boxes flying out the door. You could tell they had just opened but were already deep into the lunch rush. Even so, service was impressively smooth. We were quoted about 20 minutes, but I walked in, hit a short line, and was back out the door with piping-hot food in under five minutes. I'll definitely be coming back for some Hawaiian comfort food.

His cousin couldn't stop raving about the food, so we decided to check it out for dinner last night. We also ordered a side of Crackhead Chicken without the spice for our 1 year old, and she LOVED it. Normally she throws her food, but this time she actually ate it and kept making the cutest "yummy" faces the whole time. The moment I took my first bite of chicken, my reaction said it all. The flavor was INCREDIBLE! It had a perfect balance of sweetness from the coconut and a nice kick from the spices. Everything worked so well together, and the chicken itself was unbelievably moist and juicy. I also loved that the meat was served over the rice, allowing for all the juices to soak in. The rice was soft, flavorful, and just as satisfying. The macaroni salad was hands down my favorite compared to any Hawaiian BBQ spot I've tried. I also had a few bites of the beef, which had an amazing flavor and just the right amount of char to elevate it even more. The only thing that didn't stand out to me was the coleslaw, but we found out later that you can substitute for extra macaroni salad for an additional 50 cents. We will definitely do that next time! Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will absolutely be back whenever we are in the area. One quick note for parents: there are no high chairs available, and we even searched the entire food court. Since it's inside a casino, it's understandable, but just something to keep in mind.
