I normally stay far away from any terri chicken because everyone makes it so different. This one is a winner!! The chicken is so fresh and juicy. The chicken Katsu is a light crispy outside and tender juicy inside. The sauce is like home, so ono. Not crazy sauce from crazy town!! Kalbi: it's a little thin, grisly, some fat. The taste is delicious. If you are a Kalbi connoisseur this might be a midrange for texture and body. Please follow them on face book. You can see how they cook the food. Service was great! You go to the window and order. You are given a table tent number and they bring the food to you. Inside: very cool AC, perfect. Very clean, good smell, great atmosphere, island music. We came in to try Aloha Kitchen again, even after saying never again. Well, couldn't rate the Mac Salad, they never even gave it to us!!! We ordered 2 plates, which was definitely to my liking, chicken katsu was great! Nice and crispy. Adobo was nice and tender! However, the rice was extremely mushy. Then we ordered 4 musubi's! We opened the bag, and was disappointed already by just the look of it. The musubis were barely wrapped in the foil, sauce was leaking out of the side because of it. Can't make good musubis with mushy rice! I get it, right after us it got extremely busy but that shouldn't take away from how things are packed. Rushed! read more

I came in at night and it was pretty empty, which I liked. It was also really cool that there's a bar on the other side. The place itself was clean, cute, and I loved the wall paintings. The girl who took my order was very sweet and took the time to explain some of the menu options, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn't really win me over. The chicken katsu had fatty pieces that I ended up having to spit out. The teriyaki chicken was slightly better, but still had some fatty parts. Definitely great comfort food late at night **NOTE: late night happy hour meals are now updated to $7 not $6 from previous reviews** The service was really quick on a late Friday night for HH. I wish I got her name but the lady taking my order was the sweetest!! The place looked like any fast food place. There was also a door to a karaoke bar which I think it's part of the resturant. It was loud from the seating area unless you open the door. Parking was super easy and abundant in the plaza. I ended up getting the kalua pig 9/10: it was all I could've asked for given it was only $7!! The portion was just enough for me. Not overly salty and the meat was tender and juicy. I loved it. Katsu 7/10: the katsu was breaded nicely and that katsu sauce just brought the dish together. I just wish it also came with some typa veggie on the side. But then again it was only $7 so I shouldn't be complaining lol. The Mac salad was just okay to me 5.5/10. It lacked flavor but adding that pepper did help a bit. I'm not sure if I'd get it again. This is tucked away on S. Maryland Parkway at Windmill. There are plenty of seats if you want to dine in, also on the other side there is a separate bar area which i didn't visit. I walked in here for a simple small dinner. The fried chicken combo they have here is freshly cooked to order and has all the traditional sides like mac salad and rice. the meal also came with Chili, some of the best I've had. $15 filled me up the whole night. Used to come here ALL the time!! But idk recently it just hasn't been matching - the price and the food. Got charged $15 for a loco moco and it's the same size as the late night bites that are usually $7 or less. They used to be know for their cheap eats but bigger portions and now i feel like the cost raised but the quality lowered :( sad about it but i feel like I could get a bigger portion for less elsewhere. Great service and very clean inside. The employees are super nice and patient when ordering. We've come here multiple times already and we finally got to try their late night special menu. Everything on their special menu is $6 after 10pm that includes pork adobo, chicken teriyaki, chili, and Kalua pork with cabbage. We ordered the adobo, chili and kalua pork and they were all very good. Lots of flavor! The chili came out really hot as in temperature hot so you know it's fresh! Late night bites bowl? 10/10 When you don't want eat that fast food junk and want something delicious & fresh, this is my go to spot after 10pm. 9 times out of 10 I'm always ordering Kalua Pig & Cabbage bowl, sometimes I'll order an pork adobo bowl but I usually have a sweet purple potato (Okinawan/Hawaiian sweet potato, if you really from Hawai'i then you know ‍) perfectly steamed by the time I make it back home to eat. Surprisingly enough, the staff & service is better than a fast food spot that late at night and they're 24 hours. It's just like home, familiar and warm ambiance through and through. Genuinely enjoy coming here when I'm craving Hawaiian food. The adobo fried rice is solid and a pretty huge portion considering the price. The spam Musubi, however was just ok. The nori doesn't overlap when it's wrapped around, causing the rice to kind of spill out through the seam when you bite into it. Overall the ambiance inside is casual and kept clean. What's going to the rice ratio?!?! I got myself a chicken barbecue obviously there's a lot of meat and you can tell they only gave you HALF! a cup of rice... it did give me an option if I wanted kimchi or a macaroni they gave me a big bowl of kimchi. Trying to eat was hard cause by the time I got the 6th piece of chicken. I'm already out of rice. And 90% of the chicken was still remaining and all this for $17. that's expensive. Came here because you guys are open til midnight or 1 in the morning an I love coming here to study... but inflation is killing. Everything coming here is too expensive. The food is always AMAZING, the staff is always friendly and welcoming, one of their long time workers recognized me from when I used to visit as a young kid! Came in here with a hangover and I was hungry and needed something hearty and comforting. One look at the menu and I knew I was in the right place. There were so many items To choose from. I was greeted by a friendly staff member behind the counter who reminded me of my auntie, so I felt at home. The establishment is clean and the vibes are good, and the food is delicious and very familiar, like home cooking . Plenty of seating and spacious so bring some friends. This small but relaxing vibe hit the spot for a quick bite. Boyfriend devoured his steaming hot and crunchy chicken. Their rice was super fluffy. Whatever secret sauce they serve with their chicken was finger licking good. Their portions are huge for a reasonable price. Their soda fountain drink cups were a huge 32 oz, but sadly Pepsi products not coke as I am a picky human. They make everything fresh, if you are from Hawaii this would hit home. On 2/18/26, I wanted to try ordering from a local spot and gift a meal for a close friend recovering from surgery. To my dismay my gift order, which was indicated to restaurant, did not meet expectations. Upon delivery, my friend had informed me that her 'garlic salmon' appeared to not "look like or taste like salmon". She indicated that it was overcooked and therefore inedible. Given the price of the meal, she felt that it was unacceptable. She called Aloha Kitchen (Windmill) and received a callback from Maria, the manager. According to my friend, Maria was unhelpful, short, and dismissive. She did not take accountability as a representative of the restaurant. I believe the situation could have been better handled by responding to how to make things right. Perhaps by offering another meal or a voucher/credit rather than saying "contact DoorDash." The "non service" as well as the food provided was a major disappointment. read more

My wife is currently recovering from cancer surgery. A wonderful friend from California gifted her a meal from Aloha Kitchen. Unfortunately the meal was not good and not edible. She called the restaurant and Kelsey took her complaint and said she will have her manager contact her. Maria is the manager. Her first sentence to be her is that we needed to contact DoorDash for a refund. She explained to her the meal was not prepared by DoorDash. She insisted that there is nothing she can do. Not even an offer of replacement meal. Maria didn't seem to care if we will return as customer or recommend this restaurant at all. I'm a first time customer who visited Aloha Kitchen at Maryland Pkwy In Las Vegas. ( Corner Windmill and Maryland Pkwy) Purchased three take out 3 plates. Mahi, Shrimp tempura and Pork belly. Mahi plate was excellent. Shrimp Tempura could be better For the price. Pork belly which took about 25 or so minutes of wait to make was terrible. I'm very familiar with fresh cooked meat as Im an epicurean cook at home but the pork belly looks and taste like a couple of days old that was refried. It was tough and not crunchy as advertised and not at all freshly made. So displeased and angry for paying over$50.00 for three plates notwithstanding the tasteful Mahi-mahi plate. read more

I was done than, fast forward to yesterday. More of a 3.5* review...stopped in for take out and ordered the loco moco and lumpia...they cook to order which is nice so the wait was about fifteen minutes...the food is good, although the loco was a bit on the salty side, typical of a lot of Hawaiian foods so to be expected...the taste was good, the egg cooked well and the price reasonable for the amount of food received...the lumpia was good in taste and you get about ten for roughly 9 bucks...the lumpia are extremely small, not enough for a meal but nice as a side dish...restaurant was clean and ambiance is Polynesian...have been here a few times now over the years and it's always pretty good food so will continue to support from time to time, RECOMMEND read more

First time at Aloha Kitchen and came with my friend that happens to be a regular! Super clean place and not loud, great music playing. You walk up, order, they give you a number you take a seat and they bring it out to you. There was a lot of to go orders, more so than dine in. We chose to dine in. I had the Kalbi plate with kalbi (of course!), chicken katsu and chicken teriyaki. I asked for the teriyaki sauce on the side, and glad I did....it's a lot!!! The chicken (both of them) was flavorful and not dry at all. The kalbi was sticky from the sauce it's cooked in and had some crispy pieces, but I enjoyed it! the lumpia was delicious!!! So crunchy and also full of flavor. Got the local plate to go for my guy - it has beef and chicken teriyaki with 2 spam masubi....wished I would have asked for the sauce on the side for this too; but you can see in the picture how much sauce there is!
