TMA is a very special and unique school. The infrastructure (planetarium, radio station, space observation stations, science labs,...) is not common in K-9 schools. The hands on experience programs are a treat for our daughter. We are amazed by how the programs and faculty members challenge her and support her learning needs. She loves the school, get excited every morning, and literally has cried on the school last day - as she explained that summer will be boring without her friends and teachers. The academic (and also music/arts) progress in a few months is impressive.

There are also after kindergarten programs if you'd like your kindergartener to have a full day of school. Prices are very reasonable considering the level and quality of the programs here. The teachers are great, and the teacher to student ratio is excellent (3 kids to 1 teacher in the 3 year old program). The entire facility is very aware of childhood allergies, and if your child has a sensitivity of any kind, it is addressed. This is great to keep in mind. Fortunately, my kids aren't allergic to anything, but I understand what a challenge this for other families.

The entire place seemed to genuinely care about the well being of my child. They have church service 1x a week, and say prayers daily (and The Pledge). My family is not catholic but that was okay. Instruction included music and gym. We had trouble affording the uniform and they allowed us to use used ones until we could buy them. Tuition can be made in payments. And the lunches are varied which is nice. While my child was in Kindergarten, I saw the older kids in the hallway. They were all so respectful. Overall, a very positive experience. If I HAD to come up with a negative, I would elect for gym class more often, and add foreign language instruction at the lower 'grades'

I e a is one of the few if not the only schools in which a child can get and Orton Gillingham reading education and also a life skills class. It is absolutely amazing to see the things that the life skills class and Mrs berube do for the children. They bring them on community trips, they run a coffee shack three times a week, they bake for events, and the kids there learn that community is most important. I would recommend looking at iea for anyone who needs both intensive reading education and life skills. But those are not the only things they offer they offer education children. There is music education, art education, physical education and health along with clubs that support children's interests. Intensive education academy is truly amazing. .

About 4 playscapes and various other little rides. My kids played there for an hour and really enjoyed it. There was a school garden right near there. A large field and the trail entrance is located on the outskirts of the field. There were outdoor classrooms at the beginning of the trail. There was a basketball court, swings, and bike path. Based on all the amenities, this seems great for a visitor; as for the school itself, I'm not sure since I don't have children enrolled in it. Overall, a great playground right near a great trail!

My daughter received text messages so she knew when classes were and I was contacted to schedule her lessons and to schedule her test. I was also contacted before her test to let me know everything we needed for the test. I always had the most up to date information! They did an excellent job!!
