The best place yet to get a pedicure I was so happy with results and they were so kind. Also you can't beat the price!

I came here after reading the reviews about Lim. He had stellar reviews upon entering to get a pedicure. I sat down, and I was trying to put the chair into kneeding mode instead of chopping mode on my back, and the lady helping me didn't know what I was trying to do because we spoke different languages so Lim came over once she asked him to to see what I needed and he told me that is an auto mode so it goes through the kneeding and chopping and rolling on your back and I asked if I could just put it on the kneeding option Because I didn't enjoy the chopping. There are several different modes on the chair many different buttons to choose from, he then proceeded to tell me if you don't like it go somewhere else he didn't explain that he only has it set in Auto and there's only one setting, even though there are several buttons to choose from he kicked me out of his store telling me to go somewhere else. I talk to him telling him I did not understand that he only had the chair programmed to One mode even though there are 8 other option to choose from. I explained I couldn't understand the lady helping me with my pedicure because we don't speak the same language and he threw me out of his store. I think this is a terrible Example of customer service if he is not offended because someone wants to put it in a different mode he should have a sign saying there is only one mode and it is auto. Don't waste your time, I made an appointment so I could go on my lunch hour, they're only two people working both were busy doing pedicure and manicure. Let me tell you, it is definitely very hard to find a good nail tech and place, especially one that gives you family vibes and takes care of you. But guess what? We did, we found Aloha Nail and our tech name is Ben, he is amazing and very friendly and knowledgeable, he definitely knows his stuff and he takes great pride in his work: we go monthly now to get a manicure and pedicure and he treats us like family and remembers our names and always make us laugh. I really am happy and excited to be able to have a friend and nail tech in Ben. Every experience with him is smooth and amazing. The quality of service is A+ and always a pleasure to have someone that loves that he does. The vibe and ambiance inside is nice and clean and fresh and you feel relaxed and comfortable. I just moved down to UT county from salt lake and have been needing a new salon! I was able to call in for an acrylic fill 15 minutes ahead and they were able to take me. The employees are very kind and John did my fill. He helped fix some lifted and broken nails very gently. We got to know each other and he gave me some tips to decrease my chances of breakage (the broken set was from a different salon). The music and art on the wall is relaxing and you get a small discount if you pay in cash. There was a large gel color selection and I left very satisfied with my length and color. The owner and 1 sweet lady worked super fast and I was very concerned as there were no other customers in there. Kind people, fast service. Came in for 2 manis at 3:30pm and was done by 4:23pm. They were gentle and sweet with my little sister. They were very helpful with the leaf design she wanted and even gave her some glow in the dark top coat, she loved it! Will return for sure! This was my first time at this salon as a friend of mine invited me to get our nails done. We booked our appointment the morning of, which was super convenient. The staff is super friendly and nice. They have quite a few color choices but is limited compared to other nail salons. I can be a little picky but overall my nails look good but I would be lying if I said I was completely satisfied. The guy that helped me was multitasking between calls and writing things down but overall was fast in doing my nails. In total I paid $48 for this which I felt a little ripped off due to the quality. As seen in the pictures, there are some areas that are missing gel. And if I had to be super picky, the brush strokes in the silver lines aren't consistent. Overall not a bad salon but I definitely think they could've done better attention wise. In the end I think I'll stick to the salon I usually go to. read more

Another awful nail place in Utah County. It's been less than 5 days and my gel manicure is already chipping and peeling! The lady was in such a freaking rush, I felt like such an inconvenience. She picked a different color than what I wanted and when I said something she said "no this is right" I picked an orange color and she picked sparkly pink. Like what? Then she kept pulling my hands out of the lights after only being in there for for a few seconds. My nails were practically wet when I left. I asked if I could put them under the light longer to which she replied "no you're done". She then got up from her chair and sprinted to the back without a thank you or have a nice day or anything. The lady who checked me out said "make sure to tip" Wish I could get my money back because for $40 + tip for gel nails to last less than 5 days feels like a scam for sure. Go literally anywhere else, a 5 year old would honestly do better. The salon is also dirty and I felt like I needed a shower after leaving. Using tools that were obviously not sanitized and the floor and counters were sticky. read more

I moved to Orem early July and got my nails done here soon after. My first experience here was fantastic; I was helped by a young gentleman, who was the son of Lim (I believe that's his name), and I was impressed by how meticulous and knowledgeable he was. He was very friendly and took his time with gel manicure - and his work lasted for 3 weeks! I was incredibly pleased with his work, and as such, I decided to return this past Friday for the exact same manicure. This time, a different gentleman helped me and - unfortunately - there was a stark contrast with regards to both the service and quality of work. While my first time at Aloha nails took approximately 1.5 hours, this time only took 45 min. The gentleman who worked with me seemed to rush through the process - hardly cleaning up my nails and skipped some key steps that the previous gentleman had done (which I truly feel had an impact on the longevity of the manicure). Even with painting my nails, I didn't feel that my vision was executed accurately. The work was not very neat - and now two days later, my nails are already chipping. I'm not really one to leave reviews like this, but I am thoroughly disappointed with my previous experience. I'm one who prefers consistency, and after my first experience here, I believed this was the best place I'd ever gotten my nails done. I'm saddened that the second visit wasn't up to par. I still plan to continue visiting this location, but I may request to have Lim or his son work on me from now on. read more

This place was seriously one of the best nail salons I've been to. The staff was so nice and my nails were in the worst shape from acrylics. The lady who did my nails was so gentle with them because they were thin and added more coats do they would be strong, so I can grow them out. Bleeding nail beds, getting drills shoved into my skin without care, tonssss of acrylic piled up under my real nail, AND THEY STARTED MY ACRYLIC A MILLIMETER BELOW WHERE MY NAIL STARTS so they already look one week grown out!!! The lady never asked me what I wanted and was just about to cut my beautiful natural nails right when I yell at her to stop. All for a price much higher than advertised. Walked in and asked for two manicures and a pedicure. As we're sitting there more customers are walking in and the two employees get overwhelmed. He rushes and doesn't do the manicure the way I'd asked. The same for my mother. The woman rushes her pedicure and ends up cutting her toe and then they ignore us for 15 minutes and forget about the other manicure we asked for. We go to pay and they immediately try to upsell us like they have been all along. GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE IF YOU WANT YOUR NAILS DONE!!! They don't prioritize the customers who were already there, and they just try to get you to spend more for absolutely no value. read more
