Grilled Steak Wrap Tonight was the first time I got to walk into an Aloha Salads. My friend chose the Pearlridge location. She raved about her choices. She recommends the CURRIED CHICKEN WRAP with light mango chutney and cranberries and a SMALL TOMATO BISQUE. As for me, I took the recommendation of the employee of a GRILLED STEAK WRAP. Unlike my friend who was reeeeally enjoying her soup and sandwich, I was thinking that my wrap could've been better. The meat was more cooked than I would have wanted. The wrap could have been rolled tighter or it could've been filled more (for the price). It seemed that they were light on the toppings. Was it worth $12.25? Not in my humble opinion. One high note, the service from, what may have been, the manager on duty was outstanding. She was quick to welcome us, kind to offer help and friendly when handing our food in the take out bag. Couldn't take a picture of the Ono island Ahi salad because I ate it before I remembered to, but it was sooooo good. I got a seared ahi and the flavor was great perfect with the strawberries, papaya and dressing. I was honestly kind of nervous to try it but i took the chance and ordered it and it was perfect I would definitely come order it again. I also got the tomato bisque soup, I couldn't find it anywhere on the menu, but I remembered ordering this before and loving it. Still the same great tomato soup, my favorite. One of my fave spots to hit up during my lunch break if I feel like eating a little healthier. This location is located next to Kozo Sushi and right across from Koromo on the "Downtown" side of Pearlridge. They have a variety of salads and wraps to choose from. I typically get the steak wrap which is delicious and comes with steak, onion, and mushrooms for around $11. Their Tomato bisque soup is also delicious but can be rather pricey at $5 for a small cup and $7 for a large cup--it also comes with a piece of pita bread. I've recently tried their Ahi Salad which is delicious. There are two sizes of salads in case you don't have a big appetite. I knocked off one star bc it can get rather pricey quick. My Ahi salad was close to $12 for a small, so it is definitely a treat to have. Service can be hit or miss..sometimes the workers are not always the friendliest. Overall, I would recommend this spot if you want a healthy lunch or dinner option:). read more

I got the large Beet salad with ahi protein. It was delicious. The portion fed me and my wife and there was a generous amount of fruits and nuts so you weren't wanting at the end of the salad. Dressing was very complimentary to the flavor and the staff was very friendly. Only thing is I would have liked more beets but I'm sure I could just add next time... there will be a next time. I have been wanting to try this place for awhile now. A place to get an easy on the go meal. There were several good options to choose from. I had a difficult time choosing what I wanted. I also liked how they have a nutritional facts page on their website which is super helpful for dietary restrictions! My friend and I stopped by Lunch lunch time. Social distancing is so not being practiced because customers stand and clutter around waiting. I ordered a small satay chicken salad. We waited for awhile, they were three people working. Once we got our food, we were off to the beach! My satay salad was delicious. The sauce had a nice little kick to it. I wish it was a little more spicier. Delicious. My friend and I smashed our salads once we got settled. Definitely want to try the other salads! I love the salads at Aloha Salads, but I'm giving the low rating because of customer service. I walked in today and the worker was sitting with her back to the door. She's on her phone. I acknowledge her because she doesn't move or say anything, like I'm not even there. She then turns around and says "yeah...I see you, what do you want?". The look on her face was like I'm bothering her and she was very abrupt and curt. I tried to pay and she walks away from me. She comes back and I pay, she hands me my change, no thank you. Ok, she turns around and almost throws my plate on the ground, but catches it, finishes the order, puts it in a bag, and drops it on the counter, and says "here your order" and walks away. Still no thank you or anything. Mind you, I was the only customer. Sorry for bothering you, it won't happen again. Just spoke with the manager at this specific location after filing a complaint from the Aloha Salads location at Millilani and he took the time to listen with care and help me with my concern. AND he even offered to remake my salad for me even though it wasn't his problem. Definitely goes above and beyond. Every time I come to this location they are nothing but friendly and professional. I really like Aloha salads, and I used to frequent the one in Kailua ALOT. But, sadly haven't gotten there in a while since I moved over the Koolau mountains. I went to the Pearlridge one because I just so happened to walk by, was hungry, and missing my faves, the curry chicken wrap & tomato basil bisque. So I went and ordered one each for myself and my husband. I got home to eat and was a little disappointed at the fact that the wraps were noticeably smaller than those that I've had at the kailua location. And if I'm not mistaken, those wraps come with mango chutney inside (unless the menus changed). But these had none. I should have taken a picture, but I did not because I was HANGRY. Boo... Been having the tomato bisque soup for at least 4 tines already, and I have been noticing that it is getting more and more oily. I literally have to spoon out the entire top of the soup, as it is full of oil just floating at the top. This cannot be good for you. Taste is ok the first few times, but after realizing how fatty and unhealthy this soup is, it kinda is gross. Her is another place that you quickly regret paying with a card, whether it be a debit or credit card. After inserting your card, it asks how much tip you want to leave, and "no tip" is not an option. You have to literally go to another screen and input zero (0) if you don't want to leave a tip. I guess they feel that it is easier to just click on a tip option. It's so sad to see this happening at so many eateries. I went in on a Saturday lunch time. 3 girls were working and they just looked so unhappy. It made me feel so awkward like I shouldn't be here. Soggy mango Old, stale and smelly greens Flaccid, overly pink ahi The entire dish smells like yesterday's lunch, and I am NOT happy. I have had less-than-stellar food from this location previously, but I figured anyone can have an off day. My advice: do NOT go to the Pearlridge location. This is my 400th Yelp review! Oh yay! Aloha salad is located next to Kozo Sushi in downtown Pearlridge. They even have a couple parking stalls reserved for them for pick up and go I'm guessing. How convenient. I ordered a small Kamuela salad to go. It comes with a complimentary pita bread. Unless you're a big eater, small size should be enough for most people. It comes with variety of lettuce, cherry tomatoes, blue cheese, bacon, boiled egg, avocado, grilled chicken and ranch dressing. The grilled chicken was on the dry side but still tasted fine. It costed me $8. That's about right. Customer service was good. As soon as I was ready to order I was acknowledged right away. They asked for my name and my order was up within 10 minutes. How efficient. Aloha Salad supports local products so why not support them. read more

I don't typically dig salads. Unless said salad has a low greens count. And that is why I have never frequented Aloha Salads. That and I've never crossed paths with one until two things happened: (1) They opened up in Pearlridge Downtown (next to Kozo Sushi) and (2) I found out they serve sandwiches and wraps too! The wrap that caught my eye was their curried chicken made with curried chicken salad, mango chutney, carrots, cranberries, grapes, coconut, and romaine served on pita bread ($8.25). Absolutely delicious. It was on the sweet side, which I loved and I eagerly ate the entire thing. I think it's great that Aloha Salads cares about our health. I was able to find the nutritional information of my wrap on their website. I also found out the pita bread they use is entirely fat and sugar free and their ahi is always fresh, never previously frozen. I must admit, the signature salads they offer do sound pretty delicious, especially the Kamuela cobb and the Kahuku spinach. I also like the idea of customizing my salad. If you just want to run in and pick up your food, there's even a designated parking stall for Aloha Salads right out front! read more

I took a while trying to figure out what to eat cause everything sounded so good. Wound up ordering the Maui Mozzarella salad, Roasted Turkey sub, Tomato Bisque soup, chips, and a soda. Biggest aloha salads fan here. I probably eat here 7-10 times a week, just not at this particular location. The workers here are so iffy, some days they're so grouchy you can see it in all their faces. It almost makes me believe they hate their jobs but then there are some days that they're smiley and average. Never have I ever been 100% satisfied with their service. The salads are always on point.
