The place is a combination of ideas: shopping/eating/reading/garden. Now at first this description could put off a lot of people, but this place has found the right layout to allow certain aspects not put you off too much. Trust me, when you enter the layout will capture your curiosity and you will want to go around and discover all the sorts of things they have to offer. The kitchen was adequate, nothing incredibly mind blowing but they served classic Austrian dishes at quality levels. At all four seasons can you enjoy this place, but i would advice spring/summer a good destination. The garden is huge and lovely where you can basque in the sun and enjoy a bite or drink. The gardens are used for weddings and ceremonies too. During the winter you can find a table between bookshelves looking outside to the snow. Keep in mind, weekends could be busy. The inn can be reached by chair-lift from the village Mönichkirchen. In case the chair-lift is not in operation it is also reachable by car or via the village Mariensee.

Nice clean hotel rooms with views, multiple pools and natural hot spring fed pools both inside and out, plenty of room to relax and live music at night. A lot of animals on the property outside, living the way farm animals should and not like much of the US. There are also trails to walk or run on, saunas, an area for nudists, and much more. There are indoor and outdoor pools and Jacuzzis, saunas and steam rooms of varying temperatures, a sitting area, gift shop and restaurant. You can expect to get a very good cuisine (the cakes and pies are home made by the grandmother of the house), a sufficiently large number of sitting capacity, moderate prices and the staff is extremely friendly (the owner couple is also working in the service). In winter the restaurant/guesthouse is occupied by skiers, in summer you can also sit on the terrace in front of the restaurant. In summer the guests of the house can also take a swim in the near situated dam-pond. In the winter-season the reservation of rooms is indispensable. In summer you can take part in the famous downhill scooter ride. Buy a ticket in Mönichkirchen for the chairlift, the chairlift takes you to the top station where you can rent a scooter. With this scooter it goes downhill on a special scooter track through the forest. It's a big fun for ten-year-olds to sixty-year-olds. But this area is also appealing to discover it on foot.
