It was so amazing, beautiful, wonderfully located, and the staff were so kind and accommodating to English-speaking tourists. All throughout the hotel they have old canvas pictures of the original building which used to be a farmhouse, such a lovely vintage feel! It's a 12 minute walk from the train which was super helpful to go into Munich. There is so much amazing food within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms were absolutely lovely with a private terrace. and the free breakfast provided was unbelievably delicious! If you stay here, you must spend time in the Biergarten in the back of the property. It was definitely one of my favorite parts of staying here, it is a beautiful morning when you can sit out there with some coffee and listen to the church bells ring. Cannot wait to come back. Thank you so much Pöltnerhof staff for the wonderful stay!!

I stayed here with a colleague recently and neither of us could believe the value for money. A huge room with en suite TV etc ,spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hotel has a health suite with hot tubs and sauna. and a great bar. all this for 64 Euros a night per room including a generous breakfast buffet. The restaurant in the Gasthof was equally as good , great menu based on Baverian specialities, good portions and well cooked local produce. As we here at the right time we drank the special Oktoberfest brew which slipped down too well. Again very well priced and with great service. worth a special visit for a few days in the mountains or just as an overnight stop
