There's probably a reason that John R. Bilka doesn't have this page set-up, and that's because he's…read morea terrible attorney. I had the opportunity to go alongside someone and watch Mr. Bilka in action - and I don't think I've ever seen a more lazy, apathetic lawyer in my life. Mr. Bilka refused to file for a speedy trial, ignored phone calls for a period of 4 months, was extremely unprofessional and rude during interactions and when his client finally got a hold of him after 4 months, stated he didn't move the trial forward because he thought it was in the client's 'best interests' to wait, essentially because he wouldn't win. Mr. Bilka put someone's life on hold for 10 months, and I watched as they fell into depression and anxiety like you wouldn't believe. It changed him, completely, from who he once was, and it's still affecting him today. I am working on filing a grievance with the state bar against this 'attorney' and am considering suing for legal malpractice. I would encourage anyone considering John Bilka to absolutely STAY AWAY. Anyone who is foolhardy enough to associate with him is probably not a good bet either. Oh - and one other thing. In the 10 months he represented the client, guess how many hours he worked on the case? Less than 8.

Utilized this attorney service for family court. Did not pay attention to my details regarding the…read moresafety of children. I had files prepared myself for the attorney that she never even brought up in court. Over charged me for services she never did and then garnished my wages. Did not get custody granted, everything that was documented my kids continued to go through and were diagnosed from MD's regarding PTSD. Would NEVER recommend this law office especially if you are fighting for your littles. They do not care; all they want is your money.
