There is another company with the name "Alpha International Removals" on this website where my father originally left a review. Considering the telephone number is the same and both addresses are Brighton, I assume this is the same company creating a new profile so fewer people see the bad review.
This is quite possibly the worst removals service you will ever come into contact with, use someone else. My items were nearly FIVE MONTHS LATE, not to mention he broke a piece of furniture I had personally made so it would fit into his packaging. Nick Clarkes communication is unbelievably poor. Half the time he would ignore my emails and calls or give empty promises and rubbish excuses.
The shipment was collected from me in October, expected to arrive at the latest, mid January. Having spoken to him just before Christmas, he informed me my items were on their way (by sea freight) and he would send the details of arrival and bill of lading over by email. My father and I constantly attempted to contact him for this information. By mid January he finally called us, he stated he wasn't sure where my shipment was or if it even had been shipped. He promised to air freight it over for arrival within 2 weeks. Of course as expected, this didn't happen.
With many failed emails and calls over the next few months, it finally came to me threatening him with legal action for him to get off his backside and actually air freight my items over to me in the UAE. It arrived at the end of May. The paperwork handed to me on my end showed me he had only shipped it a week and a half before that. It had been sitting in his warehouse for seven months! Absolutely useless.
