6 hours ago NEW I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the experience I had with Uhaul regarding the rental of a tow dolly. The entire process from start to finish was marred by mishandling, untrained staff, and a complete lack of customer care. Upon picking up the tow dolly, it was evident that there was pre-existing damage. While Uhaul staff took a picture of the connection, they blatantly refused to document the condition of the chain. This refusal to acknowledge the damage raised serious concerns about their commitment to transparency and accountability. In my attempt to address this issue, I reached out to the management. Unfortunately, the young lady who was assisting me at the location seemed inexperienced and untrained. She was unable to provide any satisfactory resolution or even basic assistance in handling the situation. This lack of competence on her part further added to my frustration. To seek a resolution, I contacted the MCT, Jerry Singleterry. However, to my dismay, Mr. Singleterry quickly made it clear that he had no intention of listening to my complaint or addressing my concerns. ( I'm guessing this type of behavior has trickled down to his staff) Instead, he outright defended his team, displaying a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. This dismissive attitude was incredibly disheartening and left me feeling unheard and mistreated. Adding insult to injury, Jerry Singleterry (MCT) the representative I spoke with was shockingly unprofessional. He not only yelled at me on the phone but also accused me of lying about the pre-existing damage. Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable and reflects poorly on Uhaul's commitment to customer service. In an effort to provide evidence of the incident, I requested access to the security camera footage, which would clearly show me, my father, and the U-Haul employee inspecting and working on the tow dolly which wasted over an 2 hours of my time. My 5hour trip turned into a all day trip due to stops to keep replacing the zip ties they had to hold up the chains on the tow dolly. This entire experience with Uhaul has been nothing short of a nightmare, tarnishing what should have been a smooth and enjoyable travel experience for me and my kids. The negligence, unprofessionalism, and mistreatment I encountered from management all the way up to higher management have left me with a strong resolve to never rent from Uhaul again. I sincerely hope that Uhaul takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to prevent other customers from having to endure similar ordeals. As a company that prides itself on professionalism, it is crucial that Uhaul addresses these issues promptly and holds its employees accountable for their actions. In conclusion, my experience with Uhaul was marked by damage to the tow dolly, refusal to document the chain, untrained staff, dismissive management, unprofessional behavior, and a complete lack of customer care. Ww had a bad experience reserving a truck with uhaul, and them come moving day addl problems at pick up... finally got a truck at Alpha Omega and wished we had started there first... .... June 2021 move after going through Aloha Omega finally happened... surprising to see other reviews here because our experience was good, courteous service and we will be using for future needs. read more

I reserved a uhaul and dolly the night before going to pick it up. I did that so everything would be ready and paid for before I got there. Get there at 11:00 am and what I reserved and paid for was not there. My husband informed her that we paid for what was advertised on the website and she rudely said, "you can go somewhere else." Really troll... We have already paid for a service and not only were you rude, but you suggest we leave and go some place else. My husband was totally a gentlemen and respectfully paid extra for something we didn't want. Long story short, we will never use Alpha Omega in Hiram again for anything because of their lack of customer service, misleading advertising, and arrogance. Have a nice day! read more

I have both a storage unit and a parking space at the Alpha Omega Stor-All in Hiram, GA. I would highly recommend NOT using this facility! My vehicle was broken into TWICE, my storage unit was infested with rats and I had to discard many of my possessions, and I was cursed out and threatened by another "customer" that was trying to follow me through the gate without entering a gate code. l rented 3 units from alpha ( Powder Springs location) afterfalling upon hard times, my family and I are currently living in a hotel which is very expensive since I am the primary provider, in any case I wasn't able to make a payment on the units for 4 months due to paying hotel fee's, gas and food for a family of 5 on a weekly basis, i explained my situation to the manager and he seemed to be sympathetic at the time but really wasn't. The company started to sell my belongings at an auction if I didn't pay the unit in full by 31Jan2017 so I called and spoke to manager again to try to stop auction, he had me to sign a promisary note to make payment in full by 17Feb2017 which I did, I made a payment of $1200 two weeks later and was going to make my last payment of $366.00 on the due date but I had a death in the family a week prior which I now had to fly out of state to make funeral arrangements and attend service, because of the unpredictable I wasn't able to fill my obligations to Alpha Omega, I tried calling them to explain my situation but they were very unsympathetic to make matters worse they Autioned off my Family's worldly possessions WE LOST EVERYTHING. Did I mention that I am a retired Veteran that proudly served my country for Honorable for 20 years. All of our pictures, birth certificates, awards, uniforms was in those units that CANT BE REPLACED. My family and I are very upset about this situation and there is nothing that I could do about it.
