Silver Safari was at the top of the list, and bonus that it was open on a Monday when most tattoo/piercing shops are closed. Dain and Cassie teamed up to pierce my daughter's ears both at the same time. They were both very patient, professional, and friendly. The private room was helpful in keeping my daughter calm. And even the oddball shop full of jewelry, gemstones, preserved bats & butterflies, and incense was helpful in keeping her distracted while we waited her turn so that she didn't lose her nerve. The piercing went smoothly and as soon as she hopped off the table, my daughter looked in the mirror, gasped, and exclaimed, "I LOVE them! Thank you, thank you thank you!" I will say that it was pricier than expected. For the piercing, jewelry (flat backs that had an upcharge) , and aftercare kit, plus tax, it came out to $176. But you get what you pay for and my daughter and I are both very satisfied with the experience. I never would have taken her to Claire's or a kiosk, and there's a good chance that a tattoo shop would've scared her off. So you can't argue with results!

This felt stressful as the piercing is only 6 weeks old & my body heals very fast. There was no issues getting the new jewelry through, so all was good there. I then wanted to buy a piece of jewelry for my existing belly button piercing. It was very busy in the store so I understand things take time. However, none of the jewelry prices were labeled and the workers didn't know the prices either & had to manually look it up which took more time. So I decided to go with a blue naval ring which looked like the right size. I felt confident buying the jewelry without a piercer checking or switching it in themselves as I have changed the jewelry at home numerous times over the years. The workers were talking about my decision to not get checked out in front of me saying things such as "you can lead a horse to water" etc. This felt very unprofessional as I was 2 feet away from them & they were talking about me but not to me. I didn't want to wait for a piercer since it was so busy in the store. I just wanted to buy a piece of jewelry & it still took about 30 minutes to even do that. I said I was okay with the no return policy & was still talked poorly about in front of my face. My partner heard this as well and knew they were talking about me but I decided to just get my jewelry & get out of there. I'm happy with what I received today but I will not be returning.

This was not communicated until after I reached out about a touch up. Most tattoo shops do complimentary touch ups so I would recommend looking elsewhere. (Edited: touch ups are $105)

They promised me that they would order an infinity symbol for the bracelet because they only had one at the time. 2 weeks later after no response from them, I call and ask about the status. They said oh no sorry we didn't order it. Then I go in a year later because it fell off and they wanted to charge me $60 to re-solder it. $60 when I paid $250 per bracelet? No way! So I asked to speak to a manager who of course wasn't around. So I walked out, and they followed me outside and said they will give me a one time exception to fix it. Then I go into today for my mom to get hers re-soldered. There were two employees (one with so many face piercings it was unprofessional) and one employee helping two ladies. She said I'll be right with you. 20 minutes later we are still waiting. Then the piercing gal comes and takes our bracelet out of the bag and takes it to the back room without asking. We ask her why she did that? She said well that's where she'll fix it. You never take someone's jewelry without their consent and let alone in the back room when we STILL HAD NOT BEEN HELPED. We told her, to go get it and we'll hold onto it. I ask how much longer, gal says she don't know. So after waiting 35 minutes we left. I absolutely despise this place. Oh and their cost to re-solder is $60! Robbery! If you want the worst service over and over I welcome you to enjoy this store. If you want quality customer service or staff that actually does what they promise - Go to a different store all together.

When the lady answered the phone, I didn't understand what she said so I said 'excuse me?' She hung up on me! I called back and still didn't understand what she said, but since I didn't want to get hung up on again, I just verified that they did piercings without an appointment. When I got there, I told the lady at the counter that I needed a piercing and she gestured behind me and said 'get in that seat'. Then she walked away. I went and sat in the chair and she gave me a pad to fill out my information. She literally didn't talk through the whole thing except to as if I wanted her to count to three or just pierce. I won't say she was unfriendly, just abrupt. I guess one can't expect too much since it's Claire's, but I won't ever go back to that store for fear of running into her again!

This spot here has not only provided all of these qualities, but the genuine desire and passion for place permanent artwork on somebody. My very first tattoo was with this company. The owner stands by her mission and motto -- that everyone and anyone should not only feel welcomed into her studio, but can be themselves. Not only does the owner stand behind doing quality work, but has a knack for relating and engaging with others that are different than herself. Not only does she love animals (who doesn't?!), but she's been an ally for those in marginalized communities. I've always felt safe here.... So much so that I've brought my sister, my brother, and my niece here to get their tattoos with Clorae. It's a chill environment.
