My review is specifically for event rentals for Telluride, Colorado weddings. My husband and I worked with Stephanie who owns Alpine Floral for our wedding. While we never actually ended up using Alpine Floral rentals due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had scheduled everything with them and had multiple meetings with them. Stephanie is an absolute sweetheart, and she came highly recommended from our wedding coordinator. Stephanie made the whole process easy, was extremely receptive, and very kind through the entire process. Called the shop to complain regarding Mother's Day arrangement, manager was very nice polite young lady, owner Stacy Stephanie whatever, argumentative condescending rude unapologetic and apparently blind. She was saying she did the arrangement herself and they were hot pink carnations, we're not colorblind, and that wasn't my issue but obviously she doesn't recall it even though she said she did it herself. She kept repeating that it was my opinion and she disagreed with it as I was reminding her I'm the customer I'm disappointed looking for acknowledgment/apology, and again she said the same thing adding that my expectations were too high and she didn't want my business. For $92 I don't think so. Go to the grocery store build your own, You all would do much better. I did end the argument poorly I lost my temper and I used swear words, now I feel better. read more

I see the owner responded and flat out told stories about what I said. Just not true and only further supports the review I gave earlier. You should work harder on the initial order when people pay you to deliver a bouquet for a special event not call them liars to excuse your poor customer service. This bad experience tainted what should have been a nice anniversary for my husband and I. I have nothing to gain by making up stories. Sadly you obviously do. I ordered through teleflora. Yes a third party. Regardless, my order was rejected by this florist because I requested an early delivery. I didn't know what time this shop opens because I live in another state. I paid for a beautiful arrangement which this shop was going to profit from. This arrangement was for condolence purpose to send my sympathy to my cousin. All they had to do was take care of the order after they opened for business. I used to be a florist and I have to say it's not easy! You take the customer's vision, and using living, breakable, inconsistently colored, limited (especially around holidays like Mother's Day) PLANTS and create a masterpiece! Once it's perfect, throw it in a car and drive around for a while and see how your arrangement looks. Whose idea?? Anyways! I had a vision for the arrangement I wanted to send for a while now but no other flower shop in the area understood what I was looking for. I guess "only yellow flowers" wasn't specific enough. I placed an order with Alpine to be delivered today and it turned out PERFECT! It was delivered early in the day full of blooms, and they even put a yellow bow on it. That was the perfect touch. Alpine Floral provided the rental setup for my daughters wedding, which was outdoors. Large tent, tables, chairs, flatware, glassware etc. There was a harsh weather event which came thru and overturned tables and did damage to lots of glassware and some tables. After cleaning up and bagging all of the tablecloths and napkins, someone accidentally threw one of the bags of napkins in a dumpster, where it sat for a few days. Upon finding missing napkins and some tablecloths, my daughter was immediately charged a 'Loss Fee'. I, father of the bride, went back to the remote location and went dumpster diving amongst the muck, and found the bag of items: 200 napkins and 3 tablecloths. We returned them to the vender, but after they washed them, most of them them were deemed by them to have been 'uncleanable' and we were still charged as ruined items. One would think a rental company has insurance for their products, which they probably do, but they charge the consumer anyway. Thanks for jacking my daughter for the extra $500 on her quite expensive day. DO NOT use this company. read more

I wish that I could give this business 0 Stars. We went to them for a couple of arrangements for a funeral service, and although they are generally closed on Sundays, Valerie assured us that it would not be a problem, and that the flowers would be taken care of. We arrived at the church today to find no flowers. We did not even receive a phone call from them with an explanation of why the flowers never made it to the church. Instead we were left scrambling 30 minutes before the service to get flowers. Thank goodness City Market came through. My family has used Alpine Florist several times throughout the years, including extended family, but this company has lost the business of many people permanently. I find it completely despicable that they would not show up or even offer an explanation, especially for a memorial. Shame on you Alpine Florist! read more

We have used them for our major events -- probably more than six major events and they have always arrived in a timely fashion -- have displayed and sold quality work --- have been polite and professional --- and have good design sense, even for those on a budget. If I could not pick a star I would have! Do not use Alpine Floral. What a big disappoint! My family just celebrated my grandparents Anniversary and many of the family had to fly in from different states. We ordered 13 different arrangements and not one of them were worth the $500 plus dollars spent on them. Do NOT use them. A waste of time and money. read more

Provided flowers for funeral shortly after valentine's day. Many of the roses were dying. Looked like we received left over valentines roses. Called to complain and they sent someone to replace dead roses with carnations. Will never used alpine florist again. Absolutely the BEST! I have been dealing with Alpine Floral for quite a few years and have NEVER been disappointed. They seem like they have GENUINE care for their customer's satisfaction rather than "it's my job". I recently attended two weddings and can say that next to the Bride and Groom the floral arrangements were the hit of the wedding. I spoke to the newly married couple and found out that not only was the attention to detail great during the planning phase, but the total cost was extremely reasonable. Alpine did exactly what they said they would, and more. SO many little details can be forgotten by different entities involved in a wedding. Thanks to Alpine, the flowers were "Done Right".
