Today however, I experienced such incredible caring and incredible customer service I had to say thank you. My golden has the beginning of hip dysplasia and is recovering from a soft tissue injury. I didn't want her to be kenneled for too long. Tammy - WOW - handled my worries, said my girl would be in the stand-up kennel and took every worry away. I am the owner of a 13 YO Australian Shepherd, and the older she gets the more nervous she gets to have any kind of service done. Out of frustration I searched for a new dog groomer, Turns out Alta Pet Center was only 3 minutes from my home. They were able to accommodate me almost immediately on a Saturday. When I got there the staff was so kind and understanding. Several hours later when I picked her up she looked like a whole new dog. I think well worth the price I paid. and what's best is my dog carried herself like a puppy, Alta Pet Shampooed, trimmed between her pads, brushed her teeth, de-shed, cleaned her ears. I've been taking my dog here for grooming since 2013--in other words, it's only taken me ten years to write this review! My dog is a bit shy and untrusting of other people, but she's always comfortable with the groomers at Alta as they always take such great care of her. The staff are super friendly and attentive, the prices have been more than reasonable for the longest time, and I'm able to get her teeth scaled there as well. While there's been a recent increase in cost (everyone's fighting inflation, please show empathy), I still find it to be both a better value and quality of service than most other places. Best part? Pawsome experience! I bring my long coated dogs there on a regular basis. They are so happy to see the friendly staff. They come out tail wagging, clean and happy!!! Our Belgian Malinois has been coming here for grooming services for over a year now. She is a 70lb dog with a turn off switch, but can get nervous at times. The staff here isn't intimated by her size and they have always been pet friendly. She is brushed, her nails are clipped, and bathed. The prices are reasonable and appointments can be made quickly. It costs us $56 for her to be groomed, and I was being quoted upwards of $80  because of her size at other places. Lucky to have this grooming business near by. read more

They're about market price for a grooming. I paid $60 for a 40 of dog (medium size). They do a pretty good job, considering i've taken my dog to a few groomer around the area. I feel like this place is a good fit for me since it's close by and i've pay the extra $10 for them to do it correctly. I've taken my dog to a groomer where they charged me $50 and almost had my dog running out that door. Plus they didn't even cut the hair on my dogs face or tail. I was pretty upset about that place, which is why I stick to this one. They make my dog look like less of a hobo dog everytime. I feel like I always picked up the wrong dog everytime I come here. It's a huge difference. Highly recommend book a week in advance since they're very busy all the time. read more

First time experience here was great. My large German Shepherd is anxious and freaks out when walking into a vet's facility or grooming shop. He was shaking when we arrived, but when we picked him, he looked wonderful and was calm. The groomer said he did very well - that was a total surprise as I thought he would be very hard to handle. They did a wonderful job to de-shed his thick coat and he feels so soft. I will definitely continue to take him to these nice people. read more

We have been looking for a groomer We like for my fur baby "sophie" since we moved here 4 years ago. We have been to a couple of the chains and they were all right but nothing great. We have been to a couple places that were not great at all and very disappointed. We saw some beautiful puppies walking along at the park with their owner and asked her where they we're groomed. She told us about Alta and we decided to trust the opinion of another person who's dogs looked amazing. We are so fortunate to find Jorge, who did an amazing job with Sophie. She has been spooked since she has been cut somewhere else (on the ear) and I just have not been comfortable leaving her anywhere. The absolute BEST around. I take my Bernese Mountain Dog and my Great Pyrenees here. These are big dogs with tons of coat, and they always do a fantastic job with them.
