We come here every Summer when visiting family in the area. This is by far my favorite restaurant…read moreif I want traditional "Fränkisch" food. They have many tables outside with plenty space between tables and strict mask policy (unless eating). Bathrooms are very clean and always plenty of soap to properly wash hands which is even more important now than ever. For food, I suggest the Wiener Schnitzel - it is like no other! So thin and crisp - comes with delicious potatoes and a side salad. Definitely also try the 'Breznknödel' if you are looking for traditional food from this region. Don't forget to check the daily specials on boards around the restaurant entrance. Some cool stuff there!

I love the baked goods here - sweet & savory! They make fresh breads bakes in their stone oven…read morewhich are really good. For pastries, I really like the 'Bienenstichecke' - it's a devine, flaky pastry filled with vanilla cream and topped with almond slices and powdered sugar. I went back there multiple times during my visit in the area because we all liked it so much. Also great is the 'Mohnstreusel'and 'Zwetschgenkuchen' - Plum cake is a must try during this season - its sooooo good. They also have outdoor seating where you can grab lunch or even homemade ice cream. They are open late!
